Weekend Trip to Leach Homestead campground

This was by far the best hip camp ive ever been to. We are so happy we found Victor’s little slice of heaven. I believe every camper and angler should experience this place!! There are so many things to see or do on this property. We asked where the fish sit in the lake and he told us “wherever you can cast” and he was not lying!! We caught SO many fish this weekend and even cooked up some bream on the fire for dinner. The road was no problem, you couldnt hear it that much from our tent anyways. Even if you feel like it is the property is so big theres a spot somewhere for everyone. Victor even let us borrow a table and an extra chair. The shower and toilet was such a great addition as well. Victor was extremely nice and helpful, and came and checked to see if we were catching fish. He was an awesome host and we will 100% be back ASAP!!

Weekend Trip to Forest & Farm Camping Retreat

We loved camping on Mark’s land. It was very private and peaceful. We were able to relax by the creek and had everything we needed.

We had the whole camp to ourselves which was so nice. It was quiet and there was a fun creek for the kids to play in. Some of the bathrooms could use some more upkeep but other than that we had a great stay and Damon was very nice!

We absolutely loved our stay. The park is in immaculate shape. As tent campers, It was wonderful having access to the shower house and bathroom. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Weekend Trip to Pap's Glamp&Cabin on Lake Hartwell

This was a great place for a short getaway. We only needed food and things to cook with. The property was well maintained and user friendly. It was a needed relaxing weekend.

This place was fantastic! Hot showers, and cool indoor spaces for the hottest hours of the day. We had a great time just sitting around and looking down at the river. The dogs had a great time too! I would definitely recommend this spot. Whether you want to rough it in a tent, or just sleep in the bunk-room, this place has you covered.

This was such a delightful place to stay, and we're already making plans to come back. The Creekhouse is the perfect blend of roughing it with access to basic amenities. My kids enjoyed playing in the creek and exploring the property, and I appreciated the quiet freedom to let them roam. Damon is a wonderful host, friendly and very responsive. When the temperature dropped suddenly, he made sure we had heaters and warm blankets for sleeping, and we stayed cozy. My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of the creek directly below us.

James was very accommodating around my plans to arrive changing multiple times due to distance, crazy weather and other delays. The camp sites are very well kept up, very tidy. James delivered hardwood to my site while I was away and included some pine for starting the fire. I look forward to checking out Big Creek RV Park when I’m in the Greenville SC area again. 5 stars!

I had a great overnight stay. They provided a gallon of spring water which was a nice touch. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely stay again. It’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown Greenville. Thanks

Southern Belle is a perfect place to take a break and spend the weekend only with the nature! The facilities provided were flawless! Jeremy is a wonderful and helpful host! Highly recommend! Great place to camp. Super cool place super pretty inside! Everything was tidy and clean upon arrival and host was super nice making sure we had good kindling and wood for our fire! Would reccommend in cool and cold weather and can’t wait to come back in warmer weather for a different experience! The streams and plants/trees are beautiful!

We had a great time staying at Victor’s place! He was very accommodating to our needs and met us when we were rolling in late after dark. Property was beautiful and so fun to explore. Blue, the dog, was very sweet and even roamed the property with us and our dogs! Would highly recommend staying here 😊

Due to the nature of inflatable hot tubs, it will lose about 5°F per hour that the lid is off; weather conditions and use of the jets may expedite this cooling. Unlike a traditional hot tub, there are no seats inside. There are flower-shaped sponges in the hot tub, which help keep the water clean. **If you prefer to take these out while in the water, they must be placed back in when you exit. DO NOT throw these over the railing.** After use, please toss 2 sanitizer shock tablets into the water (located above the stove). Haunted Barn Patio- Tent Site

Little did we know when we moved here, but this bit of land has a haunted history that we would love to share with you. This area is the home of the legend of the Pickens County Horror, made famous in a graphic novel penned by Mike Mignola, the creator of Hellboy. The original builder of our home was killed in our basement by his son. He was blown up and set on fire by a sabotaged gas stove and then left to burn to death in the backyard. There are strange noises and creatures that can be heard and sometimes seen at night. Neighbors are sometimes menaced by…something, which is why you’ll sometimes hear gunshots in the wee hours of the night. The Liberty Boom is often heard at random times during day and night. --- Have a stay in your tent or a hammock under our barn patio. We have a gravity shower and a camp toilet onsite. There's also a picnic table for your use. Guests have their own parking spaces. There are trails to use right at the end of the driveway, and we can even be talked into taking you out on a haunted night hike if you’re up to it. Don’t be alarmed if you see the neighborhood donkey and horses in the front yard. Situated very close to Clemson University, upstate lakes, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Sassafras Mountain, SC’s highpoint.
