Weekend Trip to South Fork River Cabin

Such a nice relaxing place, we enjoyed putting chairs in the river, taking a shower in the nice outdoor shower. Everything we needed was there and we can't wait to go back.

The land was magical and provided such a relaxing atmosphere. There are trails and a pond along with the creek that runs throughout the space. The hosts are amazing people. Vicki provided lots of great info about the surrounding area. The campsite was well kept and manicured in such a thoughtful way! Arrival and departure were easy…although we were sad to leave!

I loved sleeping out in the fresh air in the pop up. Very comfortable for the 4 of us. Beth gave a ton of great local sweet spot recommendations. Has everything you could need for an amazing stay. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp

Wow what a lovely camping experience! The cabin itself is outfitted with great mattresses, which means we all rested well after a day in the woods in Western NC. The camp kitchen has everything you need. The site is very private, and it really felt like the best parts of camping along with the privacy of backpacking.

Fabulous place that's easy to get to. Marshall has thought of everything. We camped with 3 generations using the bunks in Bill's Cabin, tents, and a teardrop. It was clutch to have to cabin for shelter to play, cook and hang out sorting some rain storms. We will be back.

Super sweet and helpful staff! Bed was comfortable, river outside the cabin was absolutely beautiful. The cabin as clean and adorable. So many things to do nearby! Reception isn’t great but there’s a community center right up the road not even half a mile with open network that works great and they do have a WiFi spot on the campground as well. The cell service was not even close to a deal breaker this place felt like a home away from home! We absolutely loved it!

1 night at Peace Of Pisgah

I loved glamping on Vicki's property. We booked site #2. It was very secluded and had a creek running by it. Vicki was amazing and showed us around her beautiful property! It was so nice that the tent had an additional covering so we could stay dry in the rain. The site had cots, sleeping bags, and even earplugs for sleeping. It was conveniently located 10 minutes from Brevard and close to so many beautiful hiking trails. Vicki sent us some of her recommendations! I will definitely come back here!

Weekend Trip to Trails & Tails Waterfalls Retreat

Beth and Rob are wonderful! There property is secluded and the camp site was very clean and private. The outdoor shower was awesome and it was easily accessible. Beth and Rob greeted us upon arrival. Made recommendations for our biking adventures in Dupont and places to eat and visit in Brevard. We plan to visit again next month but I highly recommend for families, couples and mountain bikers

3 nights at Trails & Tails Waterfalls Retreat

Beth and Rob were very friendly and helpful. The site was level and well maintained. There is an old greenhouse that is now space to eat, hang out, or use Wi-Fi, although the signal was actually pretty good at the actual campsite. Very convenient location that is both quite and woodsy, yet convient to trails, restaurants and shopping.

3 nights at Hidden Acres Mountain Camping

Hidden Acres is truly a magical place to experience. So much thought and creativity has gone into each and every campsite. Spring Haven is the second site I have had the pleasure to stayed at. I appreciate our hosts for being so nice and welcoming to us. We had such a lovely time and have never relaxed more during our camping trips as we did this past weekend. The campsites are very spacious and not too close to each other so you can definitely have privacy if you want. I enjoyed the free range chickens that were always happy to greet you as you make your way to the bath house. The bath houses were always clean and are very nicely built as well. We also enjoyed feeding the fish in the water feature pond at Spring Haven. They were fun to watch. If you get a chance to experience Spring Haven or any sites available at Hidden Acres you won’t regret it. One of the best camps I have had!

Weekend Trip to Trails & Tails Waterfalls Retreat

Beth and Rob are incredible hosts and delightful people. We so look forward to our visits to Trails & Tails. As avid camping cyclists with a dog, they have become our base camp for Pisga and Dupont forests. Always full of advice and suggestions. Their site is primitive but impeccably kept with a well maintained porta potty and delightful hot outdoor shower. We love hanging out and playing games in the green house after a long day on the trails or river. Can’t wait to book the next adventure. Susan, Chris, kids and Rey.

Weekend Trip to Peace Of Pisgah

I just wrapped up a fun-filled weekend at Peace of Pisgah (Site 2). The location is great, minutes from the Pisgah Forest main entrance, as well as downtown Brevard. The layout with the sites is very accommodating and accessible, yet each site has plenty of privacy. The fact that the tent is just feet from a small flowing creek adds to the ambiance. Perhaps the most special thing about Peace of Pisgah are the owners. Vicki and her husband are genuinely nice people who went out of their way to ensure my visit was no less than stellar. The whole area, from the tent site to the shower and privy, are decorated with niceties from Vicki's artistic touch. Thanks for such a quiet and relaxing stay :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Teela Springs cabin! It was beautiful, peaceful, private and well-equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. It is a great space to disconnect and reset. Looking forward to staying here again soon!

Wonderful greenhouse shelter! Love all the mystical touches around. Great amenities for a campground and the bathhouse is private, modern rustic, and super clean.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay At the Ridge Campground! Cabin #5 was perfect for a little get-away, with its balcony overlooking a flowing stream in which we enjoyed searching for salamanders! Meandering on the Walkin Trail, we found many wildflowers, birds, and even a newt! Would recommend! There were lots of hidden treasures on this property. We also appreciated the bathhouse and the touches of care with the garden beds spread about the property. Would recommend - especially at such an affordable price. Cheers!

2 nights at At the Ridge Camp-Riverside Escapes

This cute little cabin was right on the river, perfect spot for me and my dogs to set up camp For a few days. Short drive to some of the coolest waterfalls in NC, or just enjoy the river right in front of you. I was pleasantly surprised by thr the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the cabin as well as heat and ac for all your needs. Hosts were very friendly and helpful

My wife and I stayed in the treehouse for a few days following our wedding. It was the perfect oasis providing us beauty, tranquility, and a unique experience only living in a tree can provide. Every detail was well thought out and much was provided for the treehouse stay, even similar to a hotel. We so loved our time here and look forward to more stays in the future!

Upper Dill falls is beautiful and tucked into a lush cove. 7.9 mi- Wolf Creek Lake. Better known to the locals as Wolf Lake, this 183 acre high elevation lake offers spectacular scenery and great swimming, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding.

Unannounced guests will result in a $100 per guest, per night, charge to your account AND you will need to vacate immediately. - The cabin is on well-water, which can be a milky white color at times due to dissolved air and minerals. It is safe to drink, however if you are sensitive to hard water, we recommend bringing bottled water. - This cabin is on a septic system; it cannot handle food scraps, wipes, nor toiletries. There is a basket in the kitchen sink drain to stop food from going down; empty this basket into the trash as needed and at the end of your stay. Toilets can only handle septic-safe toilet paper. Do not flush hygiene products, wipes, nor excessive tissue, EVEN ONES MARKED AS FLUSHABLE, as this will cause a blockage and render all plumbing unusable. - ***All trash must be BAGGED and TIED in kitchen-sized 13 gallon bags, then placed in the outdoor trash bins. The trash company does not have a dump truck; they pick up each bag individually. Please be mindful of this. Dog poop bags must be enclosed in trash bags as well*** - Pets require an $80 additional cleaning fee; there is a $180 fee for bringing an unannounced pet. Ensure all pet waste is picked up. We have seen bobcats and bears, please be mindful of your pets. - We are vape & 420 friendly, however tobacco products are permitted OUTDOORS ONLY. - Outdoor cushions are located in the storage bench under the outdoor tv. In order to preserve them, please place cushions back into the storage bench when not in use. - Magnetic darts, cornhole bean bags, and board games are located inside of the coffee table and outdoor bench. - The cabin has a Take One, Leave One library; feel free to bring a book you’re finished reading and trade out for one of ours. Of course, this means there may be all sorts of books on our shelves, which may not represent the opinions or values of your host. If you see something you find offensive or inappropriate, please tuck it away and let us know. - You may eat and play on the whiskey barrel arcade game, however do not move, lean on, or hit the glass top. - If you are sensitive to political signs/flags (US, Confederate, or otherwise), this may not be the right listing for you. Although we do not post affiliations, some surrounding homes do. - Because this is a rural area, we recommend turning off any lights that are not directly in use, as bugs are very prevalent and attracted to light, especially at night. **If you are sensitive to insects (indoor and outdoor), this listing may not be the right fit.** - There is community area access, however it is not always maintained. For boating especially, we recommend the nearest Boat Launch at 499 Choestoea Rd, Westminster, SC, where there are docks, a public launch, and a sandy beach. - The inflatable hot tub can reach temperatures up to 104°F. Due to the nature of inflatable hot tubs, it will lose about 5°F per hour that the lid is off; weather conditions and use of the jets may expedite this cooling. Unlike a traditional hot tub, there are no seats inside. There are flower-shaped sponges in the hot tub, which help keep the water clean. **If you prefer to take these out while in the water, they must be placed back in when you exit. DO NOT throw these over the railing.** After use, please toss 2 sanitizer shock tablets into the water (located above the stove). There will be a video on hot tub operation in your check in directions.
