Such a nice spot!! Campsite 1 is right by the sweetest creek with huge rhododendrons sprawling over! Had a really nice picnic table, and rock fire ring, and hammock! Ground was wood chips and grass! Hiking to the waterfall was fun! So was the cold plunge! Limited hiking, we did all the trails in one morning, but beautiful area! Great signs to let you know where things were, and outhouse was so nice to have!

Peter’s “Treehouse and SMH” campsite was such a peaceful escape. The mountain views were stunning, and the sound of the waterfall pond added a calming, meditative vibe to the whole stay. It was the perfect backdrop for relaxing and soaking in nature. The space felt quiet, secluded, and well-kept. Peter was a thoughtful host— I appreciate him checking on us. If you’re looking for a serene spot with beautiful scenery and a soothing atmosphere, I’d recommend this place.

1 night at Peace Of Pisgah

With access to multiple forests and cities nearby, Peace of Pisgah is the perfect place to stay during your adventure. My campsite was right by the creek with trails connecting to the outhouse, shower, and community kitchen. I felt cozy underneath all of the large rhododendron trees which, along with the fence along the campsites' property line, provided great coverage from anyone driving by. There are roosters and chickens but they stayed to themselves and were situated on the other side of the property so I didn't hear too much from them I loved my stay; Vicki and Bryan were wonderful hosts who made me feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable, and always had lists of recommendations every time I talked to them.

We had a lovely time here! The river was a gorgeous backdrop and the camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of hikes nearby and Brevard isn’t too far away.

This camping spot is awesome, site 3 is on a big piece of land that is more secluded the further you go back. Our dog Ginger loved running around the trail in the back. Beth and Rob are great hosts, they always made sure we had what we needed. I would definitely come back.

My family had such a great time! We will for sure be going back. The open air cabins were such a cool concept and were so much easier than tent camping. The corn crib does not have any shades or curtains like the others so we felt a little on display when changing. Thankfully, it was not very busy so it wasn't a major deal this time around. We will probably just choose a different cabin next time for that reason.

Excellent example of what a true Treehouse should be. This tree house is supported by four large trees 3 of which are growing through the deck and front porch. There is one tree that is actually inside your bathroom next to the shower. The treehouse is wonderful sitting high above the road below. Beautiful sight when leaves are off the tree as you come up the driveway. Our camp host was great checked on us occasionally. Definitely respected your privacy. The Treehouse has many windows sliding door and glass porch door as well as sliding bathroom door with frosted glass top panel. My wife was a little taken aback at the lack of privacy curtains but she soon got used to the fact that it was still very private. Opening the windows with screens allows the air to circulate through the cabin. The central heat and air is great for when you want to be warm or get really cool. There is a small in-wall thermostatically controlled heater in the bathroom. You can turn it from warm to hot and it will cut itself on and off intermittently. Definitely nice when you're in the bathroom and you vent the sliding windows. Be aware there is no television however we streamed music and video streaming services on our tablet if we wanted something to listen to or watch. We have Verizon cellular service and had decent connection with no problem streaming. Again you're in a treehouse in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina unplug and enjoy.

It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts. Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

No tents allowed here, but it's a peaceful alternative to a cracker barrel parking lot. ----- Once you set up camp feel free to visit the Coffee Shed - It's a small shed on the property by the house that has everything you need to make a great cup of coffee. Coffee is always free. :) I have fire pits, tables an, if I am home, I have a super cute corgi that roams around the property throughout the day. If you spot me outside feel free to say hi or ask any questions about the area. I love helping guests find new places to explore. You will be about 8 minutes to DuPont State Forest (my favorite hiking and biking area) which has miles and miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails. The entrance to Pisgah National Forest is about 15 minutes away as well so it's a convenient drive to visit the forest and drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I also own a company that guides "coffee hikes" to local waterfalls in DuPont State forest. You can find more about that in the photo descriptions. :) Please note!! My road up to my driveway is steep and bumpy. It’s only 0.3 miles up but bumpy. You don't need four wheel drive but higher ground clearance is recommended. (I have had small cars make it up but it is a bit intimidating if you are not used to driving in the mountains). if you have a small car just go slow. :) ------- Larger group? Want an indoor bath and shower?? If you are planning a larger group camping retreat and want to book the entire campground (including the main house with indoor shower, restrooms, and full kitchen and spare bedroom) I can make that happen for $500 a night. For boating especially, we recommend the nearest Boat Launch at 499 Choestoea Rd, Westminster, SC, where there are docks, a public launch, and a sandy beach. - The inflatable hot tub can reach temperatures up to 104°F. Due to the nature of inflatable hot tubs, it will lose about 5°F per hour that the lid is off; weather conditions and use of the jets may expedite this cooling. Unlike a traditional hot tub, there are no seats inside. There are flower-shaped sponges in the hot tub, which help keep the water clean. **If you prefer to take these out while in the water, they must be placed back in when you exit. DO NOT throw these over the railing.** After use, please toss 2 sanitizer shock tablets into the water (located above the stove).
