It is furnished with a comfortable seating area surrounding a coffee table that can be easily converted to a full-size queen bed at night. On the outside deck are beach chairs and a chimenea available for use. The quack shack has electric power (1 outlet only). Amenities include a bathroom located a short walk away at the main building as well as an open-air on-demand shower located off the bathroom on a deck overlooking the French Broad River. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts. Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

4 nights at Creekside Cabin at Lake Hartwell

I have to say, this was hands-down the best organized, cleanest, easiest, most amenity-laden cabin I’ve ever rented. So many details, from the embroidered robes to the bound book of instructions and recommendations. From the kitchen appointments to the coffee. There are really too many amazing little things to list here, but you could really tell the owners absolutely care about the experience their property provides. And we went panning for gold in the creek below the back deck and even found a little! It was incredibly comfortable and lots of fun. Just make sure you’re ok with stairs and aren’t too large to fit the spiral to the loft. I honestly cannot think of a single improvement to make. Didn’t even matter that it rained so much, because there was plenty left to do inside.

Weekend Trip to Field Trip Glamping Travelers Rest

Absolutely FABULOUS getaway. The facilities are beautiful- clean, warm, and welcoming. Leaves you feeling like a home away from home. We were only there for one night- but we didn’t want to leave. We had our own campfire right outside the tent. If you forgot anything - no worries! The camp store had everything you could possibly need. We will most definitely be back.

This was a delightful glamping experience. The tents are clean and the beds while firm were comfortable. Everything is well maintained. We spent some time in the sauna, w much was nice. There is a little shop adjacent to the common area which has additional supplies and foodstuffs if needed. Great getaway for a weekend or a trip to the woods.

Every detail has been very uniquely crafted. During our stay we felt very safe, relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful sounds of the river. The nights came alive with a beautiful moon and the sounds of nature. Coyotes in the far distance, raccoon, and a beautiful herd of deer drinking from the river. I hope all others who visit will respect and appreciate it as much as we did!

Weekend Trip to Field Trip Glamping Travelers Rest

While we didn’t get to stay in the dome due to a booking challenge, the host placed us in a super cute A-frame. The grounds were clean and inviting. The over the fire pit rack was perfect for some wood grilled burgers!! The hot tub/sauna/cold plunge was spectacular. There was always a wave to be had by the staff as they drove by. Future glamours should know that the in unit “coffee maker” is a French press, which in a unit with electricity, was a little disappointing, since the trek to get boiling water was at a coffee vending station. Otherwise, it served the purpose well for a beautiful outdoor getaway.

2 nights at Meraki Escape

Dana was an excellent host and my wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. True 5 star experience. We loved the natural beauty and calmness of the area. There were also a couple personalized notes left wishing us good luck with our future together (we went here for our honeymoon). Just incredible, highly recommend!

1 night at The Quack Shack

We had a wonderful stay at the Quack Shack. Lovely river views. Nick was a kind host and made sure we had everything we needed. The sleeping arrangements were comfy and the place was well maintained. Easy walk from your car to the spot. Weather at night was in the high 40s and we slept comfortably with doors closed, blankets, and warm clothes.

By far the best place ever stayed. Perfect place for relaxation. The breakfast Chef was amazing (Megan) and the dinner by the waterfall was absolutely perfect with Chef Amber Highly recommend them both. The cabin is absolutely perfect and down to every feature and the shower incredible. The amount of care this place offered was 10 star for sure. Will be staying again. Dana and David are so nice and make this place the best place for relaxation.
