From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins:

The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed.
All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water.
Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life.
The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land.
There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property.

All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night.
Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October.
In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be.
The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience.
Contact us to coordinate for larger group bookings. Please note that a significant portion of county tax/fees and cancellation or change fees may be avoided by booking the base amount of people (4) and at a much later date adding extra guests. Guests NOT occupying canvas tent (lodging) and bringing their own tents should not be paying an occupancy tax but there is no provision for this in the app. We do not want our guests paying taxes -- that benefit no one but useless bureaucracy! Extra guests may be added the week before booking. Just let us know your plans through the app!

Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums.
Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it.
A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family.
We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so.
We highly recommend the firewood package, as it makes life much easier, unless you plan on picking through the woods on your property (which we totally support!)

- FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.
**If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation.
Each camp site has a small private firepit and picnic table and the cabin has a large firepit, a patio area, and back deck. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season.
There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers, the "lil log cabin" and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate.
How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably.

This cabin has 2 nice chairs on the porch, perfect for gazing at the waterfall! The vibe inside the cabin is more cozy and secluded and cottage-like than the Buckhorn cabin which is a bit brighter, more airy, and bigger. Both cabins have nice rugs in the middle! The Waterfall cabin is so fun to get to across the bridge! The bridge feels very safe. There is a big wheelbarrow cart with bike tires to get your things across the bridge. The portapotty was just serviced as we arrived, so that was very pleasant! It's right on the road side of the footbridge. The distance between this cabin and the Buckhorn cabin is perfect for reserving both cabins together, or being totally secluded due to the footbridge and distance, but you might see each other at the road/ portapotties. The cabin is in its own little world with an overlook clearing by the waterfall, and at least 2 tent sites for Waterfall Cabin folks down by the stream, and even a hiking trail! There is a steep hill going up from behind the cabin which adds to the privacy and secluded feeling. There is a concrete walkway that leads to the waterfall, with a handrail, which is fun as an overlook! Also, as fun activities, I highly recommend Mauch Chunk Lake (which Casey recommended to us!) for beach and kayak rentals! And Lehighton Outdoor Center for bike rentals on the Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail. Both about 20 minutes away.

This cabin is great! It’s a good size, very cozy, and tucked away in the wilderness. It was well stocked with basic amenities, including snacks, coffee, and firewood. Everything was very well prepared and exceptionally clean. It’s also located right next to several great hiking trails. I would highly recommend it for a relaxing weekend getaway!

I recently stayed at Majestic Farm in New York and had a wonderful experience! The campsite is beautifully maintained with spacious sites and plenty of privacy. The scenery is stunning—lush fields, woodlands, and great opportunities to see wildlife. The staff were friendly and always available if we needed anything. Facilities were clean, and the overall vibe of the place was peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend Majestic Farm to anyone looking for a restful getaway surrounded by nature!

Very large property with lots of seclusion. New and modern amenities. Responsive communication. Has everything you need which let us cut down on packing. Plenty of space for outdoor games like the corn hole we brought. Beds are quite comfortable. We did some fly fishing and this property is ideally located for access to several well known trout streams. We had Turkey and Deer as visitors. Perfect for a guys get together weekend and cushy enough to make the girls happy.

2 nights at Waterfall Cabin
A lovely getaway with my partner. The waterfalls are the real highlight — genuinely gorgeous, and the little trail throughout the property is a nice touch.
Fair warning: it’s not as remote as I expected. You can occasionally hear cars, but honestly the sound of the waterfalls does a great job drowning it out. A small tradeoff.
Overall, a wonderful little escape from the city — nothing extraordinary, but a solid, beautiful spot to decompress.

Weekend Trip to Catskill's Le Petite Cabine
Petite Cabine was everything I wanted. It was so cozy and a perfect place to spend a rainy weekend in the mountains. The kitchen is outfitted fully and I loved cooking with the cast-iron on the stove. The fireplace kept us warm the whole time and listening to the rain from the cabin was lovely. We took some nice walks nearby and saw that it would be really nice to come back and enjoy the fire pits when the weather was nicer. Don’t skip on the outdoor shower either. Annie was a great host and I highly recommend!

We loved our time at the Record Room. It was an all around incredible experience despite several days of rainy weather. We had plenty to keep us busy, including the stellar record collection, cooking outside, a good collection of games, and the hot tub. The cabin and site are impeccably neat and intentionally designed, and have everything you could possibly need to enjoy the outdoors but be cozy. We so enjoyed traipsing through the mossy woods and exploring the surrounding area. We'll be back for sure!

Road tripping from northern New Hampshire and needed a place to stay, last minute request was quickly excepted by Jen with much relief. Jen's property is very nice and well maintained. The rustic post and beam cabin was cozy and comfortable, it even has a doggie door which leads out to a fenced in area. It also has a nice wood stove which came in handy on the cool and rainy evening. Jen was very friendly,communicated well and made sure all of our needs were covered. The the outdoor shower in the morning with hot and cold water was a bonus, would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
