Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL

I had a great weekend of camping. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The wood burning stove provided the perfect amount of warmth. I enjoyed the sounds of all the wildlife outside the doors. From the geese to the pack of howling coyotes, to all the farm animals in the area. Tim had the outside fire pit already set and the inside stove as well. He made sure we were stocked with more than enough wood for the weekend, and messaged me to make sure I still had enough wood. The outdoor porta potty was very clean and a very nice perk from our normal camping locations. It was also nice being able to let my dog run free all weekend. He enjoyed that very much. I highly recommend this site and will definitely be coming back here again!

1 night at CHERRY VALLEY CHILL

We were warmly greeted by host with fire blazing in fire pit & woodstove! Plenty of firewood provided. Very appreciated on a cold evening in Nov! Beautiful site!!! Can’t say enough! Loved all of the lights, the pull down platform was great for our folding mattress, even a charging station for our phones, plenty of room for ourselves & our pups. The outhouse was convenient & clean. Felt very private. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to The River Otter Den - Riverfront!

Amazing. From the view of the fall leaves and the Allegheny, to how nice the cabin was, to having a chimnied fire pit. Everything was perfect,. We usually do primitive sites, but I figured we could go glamping for once, and it was beyond anything I could expect. Meghan was super accommodating and a really nice host as well. 11/10 we'll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay! Really loved having the kitchen and a hot shower! The decor of the cabin was perfect and everything was so well thought out. Very close to things if needed, but felt miles away from life. Be cautious on the gravel, as it is very slippery. Definitely look forward to returning!

We loved glamping at Paula's cabin! It felt secluded and private, elevated on a hill and hugged by the trees. All our creature comforts were met, as well as our desire to feel wild and connected to nature. The outdoor kitchen was the best! We made a delicious meal and enjoyed bird song at sunset. The compost toilet was clean and well maintained. We were particularly impressed with the murphy bed and lighting details. So much love and care went into this cabin, and it was felt. Thank you!

If you’re looking to completely disconnect, unwind, and experience nature at its best, this secluded campsite is the place to be. Tucked away from the noise and crowds, it felt like our own private slice of paradise. The peace and quiet were unmatched, just the sounds of birds, the crackling fire, and the rustle of trees in the breeze. The site was beautifully maintained. We had plenty of space to spread out, and it felt incredibly safe and serene. At night, the stars were unreal. Waking up to the fresh morning air, was exactly the kind of reset we needed. This place is everything a campsite should be – peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable. We’re already planning our next trip back. If you’re lucky enough to snag a reservation, don’t hesitate. Just go.

Words can’t explain how perfect Cherry Valley Chill was for our family! Troy let us know everything we needed to know before arriving, and was great with communication during our stay. His wife Danelle welcomed us when we arrived, and she was so kind. We had a fire started and special touches throughout that made our trip better than we could have imagined. There was plenty of space in the cabin area for two people and two dogs, and easily could fit more too. There is a platform that fit our queen size air mattress perfectly, as well as two bunks that can be used for additional sleeping space or storage. It was chilly and rainy for our first two days but with the wood fired stove we were warm, happy and dry. The provided wood was the perfect amount for our 3 night stay, and Troy reached out to ask if additional wood was needed so it’s nice to know the option is there! The counter space is great, and we also brought our camp kitchen that fit with plenty of room to spare by the door so we could vent while cooking. There is a cooler built into the countertop, as well as a black stone outside too, we didn’t use these as we brought our own as part of our usual set up. There also is a nicely sized hammock that we didn’t get a chance to break out, but it looks so comfy! They have solar hooked up to lighting inside and outside of the cabin as well as the toilet area and the short walk there. The toilet is simple but clean and spacious. You can tell this place was built with love.

We loved staying at Troy's shelter (almost a cabin)! At a one hour drive from Cleveland, the shelter was well furnished with chairs, firewood, a blackstone (for rent), and sleeping platforms which made for an easy to set up weekend retreat. Troy and his family were so sweet and showed us their chickens, turkeys, and goats! We joked we need a monthly membership for a regular retreat! 10/10 recommend!

I loved everything about this stay. The cabin was very roomy with the addition of sliding barn doors which were my favorite part besides the wood burning stove. The property has a nicely maintained yard that my dog really enjoyed playing in. There were tractors working in the fields on the left and right of the property so at times it could be a bit noisy. The bathroom was very spacious and clean as well. There are lights inside and outside of the barn powered by solar so it was nice not to have to use a flashlight or lantern after dark. Friendly host as well, stopped by when I arrived to show me around and she ensured I was taken care of during my stay. Would highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Troy’s cabin for an extremely pleasant “get away from it all” great camping experience!!! The cabin is spacious, very very clean, cozy and it has such a special ambiance with the soft lighting and the wood burning fireplace! We brought our own portable mattresses which fit perfect on the beds and even though it rained almost the whole day we were able to stay nice and dry and warm and with the sliding doors open we could see all of the beautiful countryside around us. Also loved how we were welcomed by Troy who had even started our first fire for us! It was nice to have the gas grill right outside and we made some great meals and enjoyed them sitting at the picnic table and the great wooden countertop with the high bar stools. We had lots of privacy all around us and yet it was nice being close to Andover for a quick grocery run or a bite to eat in town. Looking forward to our next stay there! Definitely recommend Cherryhill Chill!!! Thank you Troy for your hospitality!
