Our campsite is accessible by car and set up so you can start relaxing as soon as possible. The 10x12’ canvas tent includes a bunk bed with two queen memory foam mattresses. Bring your own favorite linens and make yourself at home. The campsite offers a campfire pit, firewood, seating, a picnic area, a food prep area, water and a well-maintained porta-potty. The canvas tent sleeps 4 but feel free to pitch another tent (or rent one of ours) for additional sleeping space. The campsite has parking for up to three vehicle but is not able to accommodate RV's or travel trailers.

It took seven years to carve this winding trail and two-level scenic campsite into the wooded hill behind our home. Now completed, I feel inspired to share their solitude and beauty with others who will appreciate it. From the top of a steep drive, a brief but precipitous hike leads you high up very quickly through a mature forest to some steps that lead the first of two camping locations leveled within clefts of rocks forming a pair of overlooks. A soft, level campsite awaits you there under a canopy of trees where you will find everything you'll need for a small-scale deep forest outing.
The lower level either stands alone (1-2 persons) or serves as a base camp for the Northwest Expansion area (3-4 persons) a very short hike away. (Please inquire about additional campers.) The expansion features a roomy 13 x 15ft groomed tenting surface, a stone fire ring with steel fire pit, and plenty of extra space to spread out. It provides an additional layer of privacy and a (leaf-permitting) northwest view that usually includes a sunset.
[Note: Reservations include use of both the lower level and the upper Northwest Expansion camping areas. Keep in mind that the technical nature of the trail and terrain makes it unsuitable for most children under 10 years old.]
Hundreds of feet away, there are a few homes residing below the camps, but you are high enough above the world below to enjoy a sense of separation from it. Were these camping areas part of any state or commercial campground in Pennsylvania they would easily be among the best tenting sites in the state. Even among Hipcamps we were awarded a top-ten rating in 2018 and 2019+ - and we've improved since then. People love it here.
Guests will find a huge, well-stocked chest of supplies at the lower level to furnish virtually any extra thing(s) that may help you camp in comfort, from a Coleman cookstove and table, an air pump, a kettle, a 8x10 tarp, plates and cups and cutlery-there's even a Scrabble game and playing cards. You get the idea. ** We ask our guests to arrive prepared with their own supplies and to use the supply box as a backup for items that may have been forgotten or to fill in for things they do not want to purchase for a single outing.** (Please do not depend solely on the camp supplies to meet ALL of your camping needs!) We took items on most camping lists and tried to have them waiting in the box so you can visit without worrying about forgetting anything.
Firewood bundles can be purchased at any time during your stay. We try to keep an abundant supply in a woodpile at the trailhead that you purchase as needed via cash, Paypal or Venmo. Wood can easily be gathered, there are even hatchets and hand saws in the supply box for cutting fallen branches down to size. We also provide a two-person hammock, plastic Adirondack chairs, battery powered lanterns, citronella torches, etc. Cell chargers and jugs of drinking water are available upon request.
The woods are teeming with resident species of woodpeckers, owls, warblers and more, and vultures and hawks and can almost always be seen riding thermals overhead. If you're lucky the turkeys will come to roost in the woods above the area as they often do. The best part is that no one else will know you are up there.
In addition to overnight stays, daytime and evening hours are available too for morning bird walks, lunch breaks, herbal retreats, sunset cookouts--whatever guests might imagine doing in the privacy of the outdoors. Tree climbing and treetop camping are welcome and encouraged for anyone looking for a good place to hang their gear and enjoy the view. There are scores of great campsites waiting to be discovered up there for experienced and responsible climbers.

Camp Blackbird is a 28 acre property that runs along Beltzville State Park in Carbon County, PA. So besides the camp, there is an additional 3,002-acres of state park to explore. There are a total of 2 sites.
The land was vacant for decades and unfortunately used to dump household garbage during that time. We cleaned up the land, built a home and bat habitat. We, Sarah and Stein, always disliked renting a camp site somewhere and then ending up on top of people.
So it was our goal to make space on our land for campers like us that want to be surrounded by nature, not other camp sites.
A portion of the proceeds from your stay will be donated to bat habitat conservation and bat sanctuaries around the world.
We are grateful for the hundreds of campers that have stayed with us. Thank you to all of you that have left a clean site and not made unnecessary noise that would disturb the countless species that share the forest with us. Also, Thank You for patronizing local businesses while you are here.
We'll give you a map so you can see where to take a short walk to get to the lake.
There are miles of hiking trails a few minutes walk from your campsite.
Beltzville Lake is a great place for paddling. The boat launch is just a few minutes drive from Camp.
In addition to the beautiful immediate surroundings, we are centrally located near many exciting destinations. Year round activities at Blue Mountain Resort, adventure on The Appalachian Trail, fine dining, biking the rail trail and whitewater rafting in Jim Thorpe, all within a 25 minute drive.
The property is not suitable for parties or events.
The area is a QUIET ZONE. Ideal for people looking to unplug from it all and become one with nature. It is teaming with wildlife and is ideal for birding.
The hosts mission is to disturb wildlife and its habitats as little as possible.
VERY IMPORTANT - NO PARTIES or unregistered guests on the property. There are other campgrounds in the area that are great for people who want to party.

We are an active dairy farm in the rolling hills of Berks County, Pennsylvania. We take awesome sunrises and great star gazing for granted around here! Campsites are a 10-minute walk from the farm where all are welcome to interact with the animals or take a try at milking a cow. After all, you need milk and cream for breakfast!Its a ten minute drive to Blue Marsh Lake for Fishing, Biking, Hiking and Swimming. Its a 5 minute walk up to our Dairy Farm where you can visit with the cows and baby calves. There is a very nice view of Weiser's mountain. We are an active dairy farm in the rolling hills of Berks County, Pennsylvania. We take awesome sunrises and great star gazing for granted around here! Campsites are a 10-minute walk from the farm where all are welcome to interact with the animals or take a try at milking a cow. After all, you need milk and cream for breakfast!Its a ten minute drive to Blue Marsh Lake for Fishing, Biking, Hiking and Swimming. Its a 5 minute walk up to our Dairy Farm where you can visit with the cows and baby calves. There is a very nice view of Weiser's mountain. This site doesn't have any extra shelter and is only for tent camping. There is a total of 4 listings in the one acre courtyard. The water source is shared by other people and also the port potty is shared with courtyard #3.

Our chemical free farm is set on 45 acres overlooking the iconic Delaware Water Gap in the Pocono Mountains! We're located 1 hour from NYC and 1.5 hours from Philadelphia and the closest national recreation area with millions of visitors each year. There are plenty of activities within the 45 acres: hiking, fishing, farming activities, bird watching, biking all on site. We have luscious fields of sustainably produced vegetables, fruit and flowers. Explore the Delaware river from our boat launch or one of the great canoe rental companies. Hike Mt. Tammany, Ski Shawnee Mt, walk the Appalachian Trail, visit America's oldest jazz club in Delaware Water Gap or visit the dozens of water falls surrounding our farm for a swim. (Autumn is camping season in the poconos, bring blankets and plan hikes for excellent fall foliage)
We have 3 camping locations which you can park near with your vehicle. They are all private camps and out of sight from others.
Our camps sites are for people that like camping in the mountains and near a working farm. Our farm and the community we built is focused on sustainable living with nature, local self reliance, and kindness.
Also, feel free to join us in the fields, request a tour, pet a goat, smell a pig, and check out our DIY home renovation, (built with hempcrete).
Pets should not be off leash unless well behaved and pets should not be left unattended.
truck campers are allowed if they're under 8 feet. No trailers/campers.
Also, if you move rocks to secure tents, please move them back, our mower blades thank you.

Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness. There are beautiful hiking trails on site as well as right across the way adjacent to the property that are highly regarded in the state. The most secluded property you can imagine, it is home to some truly magnificent wildlife. There is no littering, and absolutely no hunting. As a nature lover, the respect I have shown these animals, is the reason why they love it here. Who knows what you may see! Firewood is available for purchase at the top of the driveway. It is handcut and seasoned for 3 years and stored in a custom hutch. $5 a compartment money goes in the mailbox.

Beautiful view of the valley! Remote enough to enjoy the stars but close enough to enjoy the two towns during the day!
Only thing is maybe a sign due to it being a bit challenging to find th correct drive way!

Eric was a great host and met us in the driveway. I personally like to meet the host to know where I'm camping vs. trying to figure it out in the dark. I definitely recommend trying to meet Eric so he can tell you where to go. Spot was gorgeous and was exactly what we'd hoped for.
4x4 was required for the snow camping we did but wouldn't be in dry weather.

It was a beautiful view with the snow!! The host was very kind and friendly. He was there to greet me and get settled when I arrived and helped me get hooked up back up before I departed. It was a great place for the dogs! I would stay there again for sure!

I enjoyed my stay at the Organic Farm in the Pocono Mountains. Eric greeted me on my arrival and the space I stayed was serene. They were hospitable and available for questions and hiking suggestions. I also felt safe being a solo camper. The Delaware Water Gap was less than 20 min away from the campsite!

Absolutely beautiful dairy farm and we had the opportunity to take an impromptu hay ride with corn maze employees to check out the Christmas Village which amazing. “A little slice of Americana”. DJ and Loretta were super nice and let us explore the whole farm, talk to the all the cows. Even made a new friend Benny the cat who hung out with us at our campfire. 10/10

The campsites at the organic farm are great, spacious and secluded. A lot of birds and several deer were attracted by the pond. The farm is very close to the city and the trails, at very convenient spot for everything one needs. Communication with Eric was excellent! I would come again anytime.

We had a lovely time, the view is pretty. The bathroom and shower were nice and clean(water will take a few minutes to warm up don’t worry). Ground is pretty rocky so would definitely recommend having a hammer for stakes if tent camping. Each spot did have a picnic table and metal fire pit. We didn’t use any electric and if it were needed I assume there is a hookup closer to the bathrooms and would recommend setting up closer if electric is needed. Jim Thorpe wasn’t far and easily made it in town and also was easily able to get to AT trailhead for more beautiful sights.

1 night at Dude, Girl! Ranch.
We had a perfect fall Sunday followed by a rainy Monday that somehow made the cabin even better. Warm, quiet, and easy to settle into. Jennifer was kind and responsive, and everything felt thoughtful without trying too hard.
We found and brought an old CD player, a crate of our old scratched mix CDs, and ended up listening by the fire, laughing at what used to be our favorite songs and what stuck. Turns out, that’s about as good as it gets. Highly recommend bringing a few of your own instant time machine.

Eric’s land is beautiful, with walking trails, a pond, and 3 campsites that are far enough away from each other to make you feel like it is just you and the wilderness. He has farm animals but I could not hear them from my campsite. Peaceful place with no RVs. If you are a tent camper this is idyllic.

We had a wonderful stay at Fluffy Butts! The campsite was easy to find and still felt secluded and very private. Rae pulled in right after we did while we were unloading our car. She was very warm and welcoming and offered to take us to meet the animals in the morning. It was a chilly fall, rainy night and the tent and bedding provided was very dry, clean and warm. Would definitely return!

We had a fabulous time. The kids found salamanders and all kinds of bugs! The woods and creek are a wonderland. We had rain one night, so instead enjoyed a delicious dinner at Cactus Grill to kill time. The set- up is perfect and secluded. We will be back!
