River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House. This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

Just steps outside, you can wander to the muddy pond under an old oak, explore the seasonal u-pick dahlia garden (in bloom late summer), or stroll the developing walking trails around the property. This is a quiet family homestead with dairy goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and sometimes a cow or two. Deer, elk, and wild turkeys wander through often. While cougar, bobcat, coyote, or even the occasional black bear live in the area, our two friendly livestock guardian dogs patrol the property for everyone’s peace of mind. The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. We sat up our sleeping mats and blankets and slept inside the little tiny building in the property. We brought our own bathroom set up. It worked out really nice for what we needed. We will stay again!

I’ve been looking for a camp spot next to water for a very long time, and not only did I find it, it exceeded every expectation I could have. From the very first email to Brooke, to checking out Sunday morning waving bye to Tom our weekend at Creekside Retreat was incredible. The campground is stunning, beautifully maintained, and packed full of activities from board games to hiking to a waterfall. The hosts have taken their hearts and souls and embedded it into this retreat and it shows through all the details. Not only will this be my favorite spot forever, it’s the one I’ll be telling everyone about. Thank you for the best weekend away! The appreciation I have for Brooke and Tom for what they have done here is unmatched. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Thank you, thank you!!

Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

This spot is quite literally on the Creekside! It was beautiful and we really appreciated the whole space. It was set up with care and craftsmanship- lots of amenities and ways to entertain yourself. We thought we would spend most of our time out on the lake but we ended up at the campground for a majority of our stay! The camp host was very attentive and we wished we could’ve stayed longer

A great location near Florence! We walked across the bridge to Old Town and really enjoyed the privacy, the view of the river, and the town of Florence! It was extra nice to have the chance to plug into power here: our solar panels do great, but the Oregon coast can be a bit cloudy! Many thanks for letting us use your great spot!

The camp hosts helped us switch to campsite 10 when we got there so we could have a little more privacy. Our daughter was obsessed with the creek and swings. The amenities provided here were so nice and clean. We had such a nice time, thank you!! P.S. Weekend Trip to LivingWell Nature Spirit Sanctuary

Beautiful homestead property located inland from the Oregon coast. Property has creek access directly adjacent to camping spot, with both bank sides being able for use. Once camp was set up with tent, I was able to use the kitchen facilities to prepare proper meals. Plenty of counter space, and even a nice meal table for 4 was available in the semi outdoor and enclosed room. This saved the need for use of my own burners and such. The property had plenty to explore, with a bridge to access the nature trails leading into the forest. The hosts were wonderful to meet. I was given a tour and I even received a wonderful yoga lesson during my stay. I enjoyed getting to know them both. Overall, the LivingWell campsite was a wonderful experience, and was quite happy with having nicer kitchen amenities. There is quite a bit to discover here.
