Located in the Willamette Valley, where route 240 and 47 meet is the small town of Yamhill. just 3 miles out of town there is a 66 acre farm with forest covered hills, rolling hay fields and a small seasonal creek.
We welcome you to come enjoy some peaceful rest on our farm.
We have 2 camp sites available and more coming soon nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife.
each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have fire wood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs.
the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June to September, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites. at times they may be walk in only (about 200ft walk) or four wheel drive access only as they are in a low area of the farm and do not wish anyone to get stuck. if access has been changed I will notify you as soon as I can with an update.
you are welcome to walk around during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.
please message me if you would like a tour of the farm we have a horse boarding stable, rabbits, chickens and goats ( for your safety please do not enter any barns or pastures without permission , preferable accompanied)
you can see and hear some of the animals but most are far enough away that they are not disturbing.

Lots of hiking nearby, motorcycle track, drag strip and drift car track. Or just relax with the birds, deer, eagles, ducks, geese, rabbits, neighboring cows, beavers and otters that pass through now and then.
You have acres to enjoy! Like your own mini campground. Half of our acreage is across the river-summertime is a great time to cross and explore! You can even walk up river and tube down.
1,000 feet of riverfront, a pond, charcoal grill, and 3 different fire pits for you to explore. If you rent the trailer and are over 6'1 you wont be a happy camper! You will enjoy bugs, snakes, spiders, deer, otters, beavers, mice, bees, and maybe the neighbors cows.
We live on the neighboring property, but respect your privacy.
We look forward to sharing our space with you! There is a pond and river with a slippery bank full of rocks on this property. The river is a short 5 minute walk.

Weekend Trip to The Vintages Trailer Resort
Such an easy drive from the Portland area, and a romantic atmosphere with the way it’s lit up, and the fire pits. The bikes at each site are a nice touch, and the pass they give you to get discounts at nearby vineyards. Some tips if it’s your first time - consider bringing mainly microwaveable food as that was the only means of cooking inside our RV. The grill outside wasn’t covered and we would have gotten wet if it were raining. It was very private inside the RV but the site outside isn’t very private. It’s pleasant and has comfy chairs, though, and people give a friendly wave as they walk by. Also it’s very close to town so maybe treat yourself to a meal out while you’re there. :-) I would recommend this as a low-key, easy weekend getaway.

Weekend Trip to Circle C Farm
We very much enjoyed our stay at The Last Resort. I haven't slept in a camper since I was a teenager, so it was a fun throwback for me.
The camper itself is cozy and comfortable, and when you plug in the string lights, it starts to feel like a little fort, in the best way possible.
Fresh eggs and firewood are available from the host, and both were great. Especially the eggs!
To anyone on a motorcycle, this would be a great spot to set up camp and ride some really beautiful roads. I ended up not bringing my motorcycle on this trip, and I immediately regretted it. Motorcycle access to the camper involves a very short bit of riding on grass, etc but nothing you can't handle.

The trailer is completely adorable, preferably decorated and very well stocked. The outdoor covered area with comfortable furniture is a great spot to observe the world, even on a rainy day. Not sure what else I could say about the river other than it is so peaceful and healing And I think we lost track of the number of bald eagles we observed. Just another wonderful weekend

The Otter Pond is absolutely lovely! The vintage camper is adorable and comfortably cozy. The place is very loved and cared for. The sounds of the river is so soothing. 3 deer visited the property along with lots of birds and ducks. This property has several fire pit options, an RC track, horseshoes and a lot of relaxation. Although this place is far from home I hope to return someday and highly recommend it! Mt Helens is nearby and there is a lot to do in the area as well.
The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Trish and Kary were amazing hosts and quick to respond to all questions we had. Their otter pond vintage trailer was handsomely appointed with everything we wanted to be comfy. The property itself overlooks the Toutle river and the sound of the rushing water was ever present throughout our stay.
