Eagle Mountain Farm and Retreat is located in a picturesque, healthy forest outside Cottage Grove, Oregon. We offer two tent sites, a 20' yurt, and an intimate bedroom bungalow, available year-round for Hipcamp guests. Our mountain property sits at the end of a private residential road, close to I-5 and downtown Cottage Grove. Alongside the hosts’ house, there are a few other residents on the property. The area is rich with recreation opportunities, including biking, hiking, canoeing, boating, mushroom hunting, swimming, hunting and fishing, gold panning, rockhounding, and wildlife viewing. Eugene and the University of Oregon campus (including Hayward Field) are just 30 minutes away. It’s about an hour to the Oregon Coast, 15 minutes to Cottage Grove Lake, and 30 minutes to Dorena Reservoir. Umpqua National Forest is also nearby, with stunning waterfalls such as Spirit, Moon, and Pinard Falls only 45 minutes to an hour away. The Cottage Grove area is known for its covered bridges, mining history, and the scenic Row River Trail bike path. Film buffs may recognize local spots from Buster Keaton’s The General, Stand By Me, and Animal House. You’ll also find nearby farms, breweries, and vineyards offering tours and tastings. We are cannabis-friendly and ask that guests use responsibly. Well-behaved, friendly pets are welcome, but they must be attended at all times, as our neighbors keep goats and chickens. We stayed in the tiny home and had a nice time! The amenities were comfortable and the tiny house was decorated adorably. Two reservoirs were within a comfortable distance away for paddleboarding, and we loved sitting on the swing outside in the evenings and listening to the birds.

Weekend Trip to Tiny Cabins at Triple Nickel Pines

We absolutely loved our stay in the tiny cabin. From our personal hot tub on the deck, we could watch the alpacas and wild turkeys. The little farm store was great. The cabin small and cozy with everything needed to just relax and enjoy ourselves. The property is just far enough out that it is so quiet and peaceful. We were close enough to easily explore the area as well. We loved everything about this place. It was the perfect choice for our anniversary. A great escape from the crazy busy day to day life. We highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again.

This was a beautiful piece of property. The tiny house was very nice and the hosts thought about almost everything. We enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit. Cooked steaks on the BBQ and sat back and relaxed watching Netflix. The best part was that there wasn't another person to be seen. The sounds of the forest were amazing. The composting toilet was a new one for me, but it was comfortable and handled the job. Very Impressed with our stay. Amazing people and a lovely little tiny house.

This tiny home was the perfect getaway for us…it had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy. We loved sitting out and eating on the large deck. It was a plus to have air conditioning in the evening. Renee was very kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

1 night at Secluded Forest Haven

This tiny house was one of the better ones I've ever stayed in. It had a lot of great amenities, including a mini split AC / heater to stay comfortable, pour over coffee maker, shower, two loft beds, a grill and seating for 4 outside, and just about everything you'd need! The only thing it didn't have was shampoo / conditioner / body wash so be sure to bring your own. The road to the tiny house turned to gravel at the end but nothing any 2WD car couldn't handle. There was enough parking for 2-3 cars. I really enjoyed this peaceful spot and as a bonus, it was not far off I-5 so I could continue on my trip. Would definitely stay here again!
