*Please read FULL site description and rules before booking so you know what to expect and what is expected of you!* 'Royal Heart Hill' is at the very end of a Dead-End road, which means no sound or light pollution from passing cars or nearby residences. Surrounded by BLM and Timber properties, while being 6 miles from downtown CG (7 miles from the I5) and 30 miles from downtown Eugene. All guests have access to the outdoor shower, which is connected to the Dome. Please use biodegradable soap in the shower! Potable water spigots are located by the carport and at the top of the steps leading down to our platform site. Each site has its own composting toilet, fire-pit, electrical outlet and hammock. Nearby access to: two lakes for swimming and fishing, waterfalls and cliff-jumping, hiking and biking trails, dining, wineries, breweries, shopping and more. I am happy to offer suggestions and share what I know- please ask! UPDATE: The timber acreage that borders our property- to the west and north of Overholser Road- was harvested winter 2024. The property consists of Oak savanna, mixed conifer woodland, camas meadow, undulating hills and a SMALL pond (home to many rough-skinned newts- no swimming or fishing). At our domestead we practice permaculture, native habitat restoration and regenerative forestry. Poison oak is present on the property! I have done my best to clear it from camping areas and trails. Tecnu is provided in the outdoor shower. There is a mile long loop that goes around the whole property, which we keep mowed and accessible. Hipcampers are encouraged to use the loop to explore the property. To access- walk south/downhill toward the pond signs and follow the mowed path through the meadow and back up toward the road, which will take you back to your campsite. I have included a screenshot of the loop as recorded by my Strava app, which is in the property photos. The property hosts a geodesic play-dome and slack-line (during the dry months) up by the green dome/outdoor shower. Guests may play on these at their own risk- the closest hospital is 7 miles away. *Please note- if you do not respect our camp rules your visit will be flagged, hipcamp will be notified and you will be asked to pay 25% of your booking fee for cleanup costs.*

We are located in Southern Oregon. We are off exit 88 on Interstate 5 in Azalea, Oregon. This is a great location if you are traveling or road tripping to any destination along the West Coast of North America! Take a day trip to Crater Lake and Diamond Lake. We also recommend that you visit the Galesville reservoir about 5 minutes up the road. The yurt has a queen sized loft bed with cotton sheets, a warm cotton comforter with duvet cover, a woodstove, and a folding mattress. You are also welcome to bring your own sleeping gear. *LEAVE NO TRACE, just as you would when camping = please pack out your own trash* There is a wood stove for the winter months, a solar powered refrigerator, a propane stove and oven, along with a sink, and kitchen countertop space. Basic kitchen ware like: utensils, plates, bowls, Italian stove top coffee maker, off grid blender, cooking pots, pans, etc. We provide plant based dish soap, hand soaps, and shampoo. There is a composting toilet and outdoor shower with a propane water heater for warm showers. Please bring your own bath towel. Please confirm you can walk up a staircase. There is a picnic table in the pasture, with several wooden log type chairs. There is internet available on the picnic table by the main house front deck. Connect to the internet via ethernet. We have a usb-c converter, an Apple converter, and a usb drive to access the internet through ethernet. This is a glamping experience, partially off-grid, and we hope that you take the time to unplug. All of our farm goods are available for sale. Be sure to ask about orchard raised fresh eggs, neighbor's milk, seasonal fruit jam, fresh fruit and berries, vegetables, and sprouted nut butter. We are located near the Galesville Reservoir and about 1.5 hours from Crater Lake. The site is easily accessible. You will have a view of the pasture, gardens, greenhouse, orchards and the host's private residence. The main camping area has enough room for about 2 large RV's or 3 smaller RV's depending on the size.  We like to allow for turn around room and pretty much let you set up camp however you like.  There is some overflow parking if needed across the property near our shop for an additional $5 charge per vehicle which we can discuss.  We do not have a toilet facility, so you must be self contained.  Pricing is $60 per night per RV.  We are approximately 1.8 miles from Hwy 101 across from the Myrtlewood factory in Hauser.  We are close to the dunes and Horsefall beach.  This is dry camping with water available via hose from our house if needed.  Fire season may be in effect depending on the season. (See restrictions.) The kitchen island has a new five burner gas stove with a convection oven and warming oven. The island has plenty of granite and wood counter space. Hanging from the exhaust hood are stainless, non-stick, and cast iron cookware. We also provide shade grown fair trade coffee and a grinder, espresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, utensils, chef knives, glasses and frosty cocktail glasses in the freezer. The dining room table has a river view and can seat six comfortably. There is also seating for three at the island bar. From the kitchen you can visit with the folks in the living room thanks to the open floor plan. Beside the wood stove are two chairs and the futon couch with reading lamp. Hi Carly. We had an absolutely amazing time! Your place is so quiet and beautiful. We set the tent up underneath the canopy and it was wonderful. The rain wasn't too much with that extra protection. All the stumps and benches around the fire pit are fantastic for cooking on with my little backpacking stove. And the trailer plug was perfect; the electric car was fully charged in the morning! Next time we are driving south to visit my parents in California, I hope we can stay at your place!

Very pretty spot! Incredibly private and quiet. The sunsets are lovely here. A good place to bring our camper and stay for the. Night. Karly was very communicative and kind. Recommended! Maneuvering a bigger camper would’ve been a struggle. Ours was a 23’, so smaller is better at this spot.

2 nights at Peaceful Retreat

We LOVED camping on June's property!! Our dogs even enjoyed it!! June and her husband came and checked to see if we needed anything and to let us know some good fishing sites. The directions were really easy to follow. We can't wait to camp here again!!! It is the perfect spot to unwind and depending on your cell provider you are off grid!!

We loved this spot! So peaceful and beautiful. We were happy to be away from all the crazy Labor Day crowds. The dog was able to use the full length of her cord and have some room to move. We saw deer every day we were there. We drove down to Cape Arago and saw sea lions and seals, that was a check on the bucket list! Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us we truly appreciate the break from busy state and private parks.

Pulling up I was a bit hesitant about the area, but we found I nice little spot,(I’m sure if there were more people coming to camp they would have got our spot which to me was the best for tent camping, we had the whole place to ourselves. First day walked to the falls & pick our spot in this secluded little sand beach with a level place to walk out to the deepest part of the river, we took our inner tubes & my daughter tooled around rock hunting. We enjoyed our stay until it started raining, we tried to out stay the rain but that wasn’t happening so we packed up. The compost toilet was a new thing for us & wasn’t too bad, better than just a hole in the ground where flys & bees buz around. My only complaint was I think it should have been dumped the next day. We enjoyed our stay & found out we do pretty good when off the grid (no water, phone service, or shower
