Access to the loft/bedroom is by a steep spiral staircase; the steps are uneven, and the width of the staircase case is a bit narrow, just so you aren't surprised or in case you have any disabilities. This location is within 15 min. of many wonderful Wineries and tasting rooms. The Rouge River is just 25 minutes away. away, and the Britt Festival in Jacksonville is also just 25 minutes away. Hiking is all around, including many areas here in Williams, and a pleasant drive to the Oregon Caves. Guest access The Cabin and grounds are yours to enjoy! In the Winter, you may even want to participate in a slash fire. (No work required, just join in and enjoy the fire) Other things to note At this time, there is no TV, but there is Fiber Optic Wifi. This is a place to relax, read, and just enjoy nature. There is good cell service if you have Verizon or US Cellular for your phone. I will add to this that some guests with these 2 companies did not get cell coverage, so it appears it depends on the kind of cell phone you have. AT&T is touchy.

This location is within 15 min. of many wonderful Wineries and tasting rooms. The Rouge River is just 25 minutes away. away, and the Britt Festival in Jacksonville is also just 25 minutes away. Hiking is all around, including many areas here in Williams, and a pleasant drive to the Oregon Caves. Guest access The Cabin and grounds are yours to enjoy! In the Winter, you may even want to participate in a slash fire. (No work required, just join in and enjoy the fire) Other things to note At this time, there is no TV, but there is Fiber Optic Wifi. This is a place to relax, read, and just enjoy nature. There is good cell service if you have Verizon or US Cellular for your phone. Friendly Hosts who greeted me even when I arrived a little late. Bathrooms were clean and showers were warm. Cabin 1 could hold 4 though I came solo. Heater in the cabin kept the place warm. It was nice having a roof over my head given it was storming outside.

Patrick and Maya are so great! Check in was super smooth and they even upgraded us to a better RV cause of some technical difficulties. The campground was private, cute, and nicely maintained. If we come back around to the area we would definitely camp there again. Also, the hiking trails are well kept and they had Starlink for speedy WiFi.

We loved our stay here!! The land is absolutely gorgeous, being right in the Redwoods and literally around the corner from the Trees of Mystery. The hosts, Patrick and Maya, were the sweetest humans and so much fun to chat with! They have a stocked camp store, a game room with tons of books, and ping pong and such, and a ton of cool Redwood trees and tree stumps scattered throughout the camp. Our tent site, #16, was just inside the forest but felt very private on the other side of the trees from the RVs. We are really looking forward to paying them another visit!

This little camper checks all the boxes: Quiet, private, clean, solid roof to keep you dry and warm, SUPER comfy bed, and the softest sheets. If you want the campground experience without the camping then look no further. Birdie is low frills, but has everything you need. Yes, you can hear the 101 during the day, but it's pretty much dead silent at night (the campground has electric hook-ups so you won't hear generators running).
