As a family-owned and operated farm, we work with the sun and sleep with the moon. Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters.
Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.
Please note: We do allow pets in some of our sites for $10 per night. If you plan to bring a pet, please add the pet fee which is listed under "Extras" during the booking process.

Beautiful property close to Crater Lake National Park. The Wood River runs through it. The 28 acres is mostly undeveloped, but there are a few houses and a restroom outbuilding. Bring your kids, bring your dogs; enjoy the beautiful setting. We have a few kayaks, or there are rental kayaks available nearby.
NOTE: Please be aware that the mosquitos can be very bad here at times.
Power has recently been going out more frequently due to the Pacific Power's "advanced safety settings". When the power is out the well pump is out, so there is no water. I am happy to provide buckets of river water for "flushing toilets" and pay for showers at the Klamoya Travel Center. I will not be giving refunds for a situation over which I have no control.

We had a nice stay. We had a lot of room for our tent and it was nice to have an outside kitchen. We tought the fridge could have been a bit cleaner.
The toilet was nice and well taken care off.
We orderded the chacuterie and we really loved it. Lara was quick with responding and was friendly. We also really liked to say hi to the animals, who could be a little bit noisy in the morning. Nothing to bad but if youre a light sleeper like me bring earplugs.

Azalea Grove far exceeds expectations and other Hip Camp experiences. A beautiful forest setting with a creek, pond, meadows and trails but with a proper restroom for that less-than- roughing it experience.
If you’re looking for a quiet place not far from the freeway to unwind, disconnect and reconnect with nature, this is your spot. Highly recommended.

The land itself is beautiful—peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature that invites you to slow down and breathe—but what made this experience truly memorable was the kindness of the host.
Anthony was generous with his time and spirit, making sure I had everything I needed and going out of his way to create a space that felt safe, open, and genuinely hospitable. There’s something grounding about staying in a place where the person who looks after it clearly pours not just work, but heart into it.
This wasn’t just a campsite, it was an experience—calm, restorative, and touched by a rare sense of human connection. I left feeling lighter, grateful, and with a memory I’ll carry with me for a long time.

The facilities are great and it was fun to wander about and meet some of the animals. If I had been there longer I would have taken her up on the offer to make a farm plate!

This is a beautiful, quiet spot close to Crater Lake National Park. The bathrooms are clean, and we had access to everything we needed. There are mosquitoes and flies, but we came prepared and just ate our meals in our camper. We will keep this in mind for our next trip to this area.

What a cool spot! Lara's farm was a welcoming and fun place to camp for a couple nights. My daughter loved spending time visiting the animals! We had ample space at our site, complete with hammock, platform with picnic table and food prep table, and late afternoon shade for our tent. We would come back!

We had an amazing time! Lara met us with lemon cucumber from her garden and farm fresh eggs, sausage and chicken. The view was incredible at sunset and the stargazing was next level. We loved the showers and the communal kitchen and fridge, not to mention visiting all the animals in the morning. Above and beyond with recommendations in town too. Well be back!
