Available to rent is a fully furnished 24ft yurt which is beyond "glamping" with all the comforts of a home. It has an attached full bath, queen bed and "XL" size bunk cots, kitchenette, couches, TV, WI-FI, covered deck, firepit and more. Also to rent is a campsite with picnic table, firepit, portable toilet, tent space and gravel drive. Bring own water and pack out all waste. Also a grass field with corn hole and a rope swing to play. (Host home is on site. Your campsite is your private space but outdoor space in general may be shared with host family. In 1948 a wildfire came thru what then was a mixed forest of spars old growth conifers, evergreen and deciduous broadleaf trees burning intensely enough to render the entire area to primarily grassland. Today it is quickly returning to primarily mixed forest, recovering the ability to hold water at cooler temperatures as it once did. Nestled on the south slope of Dickinson Mountain it offers plenty of sunshine yet some of the best cool freshwater to be found anywhere. Although much of this paradise is considerably steep there are ample cow and goat trails to make exploring extremely enjoyable. Bachelor Creek which runs thru approximately 1/2 mile of the Southeast portion is home to beaver, cutthroat, western pond turtles, great blue heron, and many other wildlife. There is a pair of resident Redtail hawks, wild turkeys, deer, bobcat, coyote, cougar, mink, flying, silver grey, and pine squirrels, owls (sawhete, screach, Pigmy, barred, and great horned), and many others. There are also many swimming holes on Bachelor Creek and a tributary we call Dancing creek, although they are all somewhat small the water is nice and refreshing for a quick dip on a warm day. This is a working farm raising cattle, and chickens. On that note please don't feed any of the animals as they could become a real nuisance. If you are going to be leaving your camp for a hike or swim etc. please secure any food items to avoid a potential disaster. The farm is 170 acres (a half mile by a half mile) and there is a fence all the way around it. Feel free to hike wherever, as long as you don't cross any fences you are still here. You can take a dip in the creek where it comes out of the culvert below the road and there is a picnic table at each site as well as at the dipping hole.

Nice location with good on-site amenities. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The rv sites are a little close together, but thankfully we were the only people there. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

We enjoyed our stay on Jamie's land. The property is beautiful. Totally surrounded by mature forest and a large lawn with grazing deer. The RV pads were very well constructed and required no leveling. Jamie came to meet us right away to explain the hookups, give directions to forest and creek, wifi password, and even brought treats for our pup. We weren't able to take advantage of the sitting area because of the rain, but it was a nice space. We would recommend this property to other travelers in the area.

What an amazing place to stay! James and Linda go above and beyond to make you feel safe and attend to your needs, while giving you your privacy and space. Their land is absolutely stunning, the creek has it's own waterfall (and feels more like a river), and the camp spots are easy to back a trailer into and are nice and level. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

The access is super close to the 101, although you will hear traffic on a busy night. The 4-legged camp-host was friendly and checked on us a couple times quietly (Neeka!). The neighbor's dog was the loud one. Very private. Flat parking spot, and flat spot for tent. Tent spot was too close to firepit, but we weren't going to use it. So nice to have a picnic table! There was a clean porta-potty.

What a beautiful spot! The stark contrast between a hi-tech unit set in a remote nature space is awesome. 🤩 The deer in the yard & sunrise behind the trees was beautiful! Stars are super visible & there are multiple waterfall hikes nearby & it’s only 30 min outside Eugene. We appreciated the local info the host provided & the Nespresso & top tier toiletries & snacks. The shower & Biobedet & everything LED was just so cool! We will definitely be back again!
