Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland. Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers. Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land! We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. Our 27' 1973 Airstream Overlander has been completely refurbished with lots of love and attention to detail. We provide linen sheets and a perfume-free environment. We only use natural cleaning products and soaps with essential oils for those sensitive to perfumes. Kitchenette includes 2 burner stove, eco-sink, mini-fridge, cook/dish-ware, coffee and tea supplies, and a water filter. A separate shower, bathroom sink and composting toilet are steps away, right next to our 8' barrel sauna. This was a great place to stay while in the area for some wine tasting. Property was as described with a nicely mowed area for the car and camper. We had a wonderful quiet evening seeing a rainbow over the fields and peaceful morning sipping on coffee while watching the sun rise above the fog. We were even able to grab a couple apples from their trees (with permission) that we cooked up with our pancake breakfast!

What an amazing find. Dave was so accommodating in the space is great, especially if you have dogs. It’s basically his very big backyard completely fenced in. Convenient to Portland, convenient to mount Hood. Made some new friends with a couple who was camping there when we got there. Dave even filled my water tanks before I left.

We absolutely loved our time at Celestine Fields. We showed up late after dark and the property owners sweet dog literally guided us to the campsites. We had a stunning view along with a magical sunrise, and our dog loved exploring the area. We met the property owner for a brief time, and she was very kind and welcoming. We also had a neighbor who was camping there for a longer stay and he was the sweetest guy. Overall recommend this Hipcamp and also recommend arriving while there’s still light out as it was hard to find the best spot for us in the dark! We explored the cute town of Carlton a bit and went wine tasting at Résonance up the road. Recommend doing the same!

Stayed here 4 nights while visiting my grown daughter. I’m 60 and felt like a happy youngster in this adorable, comfortable, well-equipped airstream in a safe and walkable neighborhood. Comfy bed, great sauna, plentiful linens, blankets, lighting, plus fans and heaters. I spent mornings reading on the private patio. The cedar outdoor shower has lots of space and plenty of hot water. The compost outhouse was clean and just a few steps outside. I walked to nearby Irving Park and to great restaurants and coffee shops plus the nearby Sunday farmers market. I would absolutely stay here again and again!

We had a lovely 2 nights here. It is quiet and felt like we were way out in the Forest. Mark’s place is well thought out with nicely spaced sites. It’s all uphill from the road and each site seems well positioned to minimize seeing neighbors. We stayed in site #1, looking onto the orchard (tasty apples and Asian pears!). Deer frequent this area for the apples. The sites have a level spot for tent and/or sleeping vehicles. (I wouldn’t want to get up that hill with a long RV or trailer, though.) There are picnic tables, a fire ring supplied with firewood, as well as a fire shovel and bucket for water. There are clean porta pots here and there as well as potable water. Auggie, the friendly black lab, comes to visit everyone, I think, and spent a good amount of time lounging around and wrestling with our pup, which was fun.

I booked a last minute reservation and headed to the coast. This was a nice little spot to pitch a tent. The sites were clearly marked and seemed to have a decent amount of space between them. There were walking trails and nearby porta potties if needed. The owner’s were very responsive and friendly on the app.

Very nice stopover for the night. Very quiet and plenty of room to sit and relax after a long drive. Lots of shopping close by if needed and not too far from the freeway. Dave is very welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Even the squirrels were entertaining.
