Glamp Camp 2 in Maple Meadow
We love our family night camping in the canvas tent. Charlie started a fire for us when we got there, it ended up raining that night and we are dry and warm. A perfect camping night

South Fork Camp 02 w/Porta Potty
We spent a weekend at Kitten Creek and had a wonderful experience. Charlie was a very attentive host, without being overbearing. He made sure that we had everything we needed and was comfortable before leaving us to explore his beautiful property. Our boys had a blast playing in the creek, and catching crawdads. We will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend!

Loved our camp spot! Secluded from other spots by trees and a creek, good amount of space between them. Nice picnic table with an umbrella, portable outhouse nearby to share with another site, and trees for shade. We would definitely go back again!

South Fork Camp 02 w/Porta Potty
The land was beautiful, and porta potties very clean. We did have some trouble with wasps nests, but Charlie allowed us to move over to the next campsite which helped a bit. There is no service out here so be prepared for that, but it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the sounds of the creek and all the stars. I would for sure stay here again, but maybe in the spring or fall when wasps are less prevalent. Also, bring your own propane - the larger tanks - if you rent the propane fire pit! We brought the smaller tanks not knowing that.

Glamp Camp 1 in Maple Meadow
Excellent site with a very sturdy tent and great picnic table. Charlie was very nice and accommodating. He went above and beyond by loaning us some things that we had forgotten. Would definitely camp here again.

I very much enjoyed tent camping on Charlie's land! The meadow was the perfect venue to view the meteor shower, and the creek nearby provided a nice shady place to cool off in the middle of the day. Charlie showed me to my site, which was quite spacious and far away from other campers. He was very accommodating and even gave me some matches when I realized I'd forgotten to pack a lighter.

South Fork Camp 03 with porta-potty
Charlie’s property is a beautiful retreat tucked away high enough in the Pacific Range that it is about 10 degrees cooler than anywhere on the valley floor. If you’re trying to beat the heat, be near the coast, or trying to watch the stars, this is the perfect spot.
Charlie is extremely welcoming and keeps his place clean. Make sure to pack smart and store your food away from camp or in your car because in this portion of the pacific range, there are a ton of black bears (though we didn’t see any).

Very nice camp spots and super nice host. Spot #3 was in the middle of the glamming tent spots but still far enough away to not be on top of them. We ended up moving to spot #2 in the meadow and we liked that one even better. Lots of room between spots and clean sites.

South Fork Camp 02 w/Porta Potty
Tha camping at Charles Kitten-creek was lovely. The meadow offered open space to play and stretch out. The creek was shaded and refreshing in the heat of the day. No campfires were allowed, but Charlie had propane fire pits to rent that completed our camping experience. We saw eagles, coyotes, and elk, and had hands on time with salamanders, crawfish, snake and lots more! Bring shade tarps because there's no shade in the meadow on the camping side until early afternoon. Also bring lots of water. The Porta potty was convenient and cleaned during our visit. We didn't stay long enough to take advantage of the fishing pond. 2 night minimum is recommended so you can see all the things!

We had a pleasant stay. The camping area is well-thought and has everything. The base is a great addition to set the tent on. Nature is beautiful and the meadow is lovely there.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back! I don't think we ended up staying at the site that we reserved (someone other than Charlie greeted us when we arrived), but we still loved our stay. Sites are private, off the road, and our toddler loved playing in the small creek. Porta potty was super clean!

Great hosts! Helpful and attentive. Our 24' travel trailer fit very well. It was a level, spacious field surrounded by tall trees, with a bubbling brook close by.

Quiet and convenient spot to camp, halfway between Pacific City and Salem. Pristine porta-potty and friendly host. There were lots of frogs and fish in the creek! Wear closed toed shoes as there are lots of thorny wild berry plants.

Charlie’s campsite was great! It was secluded enough for us to feel like we were really one with nature. The porta potty was well maintained and very clean. The creek was nice and cool and plenty of space for us to play frisbee with our dog and go on nice walks. The highway is a little close so you do get some road noise but it quickly dies down closer to sunset. Charlie was very welcoming and gave us plenty of info to find his site. Highly recommend and we’ll likely return again.

Our campsite was so dreamy! We had an entire meadow of wildflowers to ourselves and camped right next to a shallow creek full of crawfish and frogs perfect for entertaining your kids. The creek was just a few steps away, shaded by beautiful trees and was the perfect place to sneak away from the heat. Our kiddos fished with Charlie and each caught a large rainbow trout that we cooked for dinner later that day. Charlie is so great with kids and everyone really enjoyed this special getaway, highly recommend!

Wonderful spot!! Charlie and Rebecca were very welcoming and gracious. Our spot was fantastic, very private, with great access to the creek. If you have one, bring a telescope because the stars are amazing. Our time was too short to really enjoy it fully. Hope to be back!!

Beautiful location about a 45 minute drive to the Ocean located in a flower-filled meadow surrounded by maples and alder trees. Our site (#1) had no fire bin or potable water, but had a solid picnic table with a 10x10 platform perfect for our small tent. A little disappointed about the lack of a metal fire pit, as the campers across the creek (and completely out of sight) had a campfire in the morning. We brought very little water, as the description said it was available. We were the only campers in "our" meadow, which had 3 really deluxe canvas tents set up with water, tables, chairs, fire pits, and chairs. The tents had propane heaters and real beds (we sneaked a peek through the doors). Very few mosquitos. Clean and stocked porta-potties. I would seriously consider this Camp and the canvas tent sites the next time I need a stay in the area. Beautiful and quiet with the babbling creek to lull us to sleep.

We had such an amazing time tent camping on Charlie’s land! The property was so lush and spacious with a beautiful creek running through it. We had a fantastic time at Charlie’s Land. The property is beautiful and big! Kids played at the creek for hours, catching crawfish and frogs. We saw the moon and stars at night while we were eating S’mores.
Charlie taught us how to catch fish. He was very patient with my son and me since it was our first time. We caught two big rainbow trout and cooked them for dinner. What a great experience! We highly recommend this campsite.

Charlie's spot is the best spot so far on this site! We have already stayed there two more times since the first time we booked. It's shady it has the perfect water site it's the few you want and it's worth every penny!!

What a gorgeous spot! The kids got to catch crawdads, newts and frogs in the stream. And Charlie (the host) and his partner got the kids all set up to catch delicious trout from his stocked pond for a small charge. It was their first time catching fish and Charlie was so patient. We will be back for sure!

It was 4 sites in a big field. 3 of the sites had tents on platforms, Definitely want to rent next time. It was a wonderful place. We had planned activities at Lincoln City but camp felt like the middle of nowhere. Only complaint is getting east out of driveway. Definitely use the suggested turnarounds.

We loved camping on Charlie's land. After a busy week in the city it was nice to get away to seclusion. Our space had a great platform so that we could pitch our tent under the trees which protected us from the rain. Plenty of space to roam around and so happy we had access to very clean porta potties. Charlie was prompt at greeting us and taking us to the site. Love that they have glamping options and will definitely take advantage of that in the cooler months.

My girlfriend and I loved camping on Charlie's land! There was only one other group there, and the sites were spaced out so it still felt secluded. Charlie and his son were very helpful and kind and we felt very welcome. Super quiet and pretty property
