A 20-minute drive & you're at the Columbia River. An hour to the West is Portland if you are in the mood for some city life, & 35 minutes east is Hood River, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is home to shops, local restaurants, & access to the Columbia River. The four lodging sites include 3 glamping tents and 1 gravel parking area with hookups for an RV or trailer (20' or less). To enhance everyone's comfort level, we have two plumbed restroom buildings and an outdoor kitchen. There is a large meadow with lawn games and two propane fire pits - and of course, heckling the rafters and kayakers from the riverbank is probably the best entertainment! They love waving and yelling "helllooooo" back! The property is only 15 minutes from Hood River (to the south) and about 25 from Trout Lake (to the north). Outdoor activities are endless in the Columbia Gorge - we have two superior rafting companies located nearby that can take you on a white water excursion down the White Salmon, and if wine is your thing, there are multiple opportunities for local tastings and tours. Waterfalls are abundant in this area and there are a ton of hikes to see them, ranging from easy to difficult. Many of our guests comment on how peaceful it is here and that they've never slept better - so, in order to keep this space as relaxing as possible, I do not allow children unless all three tents are rented by the same party. Children are allowed if staying in an RV or trailer that is hard-sided (ie, nobody will hear the tantrums - whether it's from a child or their parent!) Unfortunately, I do not allow pets. I'm sorry!!! We have 5 of our own who live onsite and I don't want to risk any unwelcome interactions. Our cats (Daisy, Marabelle, and Baby Meow Meow) are friendly and social, so if you have allergies, please just be aware that they might come up to you for a quick visit! We also have two young dogs (Blue who is Husky/Black Lab and Rooster who is Corgie/Blue Heeler). I try to keep the dogs at our house when we have guests but should they come down to the meadow, just know that much like the cats, they are super friendly and love to hang out. While we are located on the river, I do not allow put-ins or dips from our property due to liability - the current is quite strong and the water is glacier-cold. There is a kayak/raft drop-in at BZ Corners, a quick 3 mile drive up the road from us, or at Northwestern Park which is just down the road from us, and there are swimming holes all over the Gorge (just not right here!) Please do not venture past the rock divider at the edge of the riverbank, as doing so could subject you to poison oak that lives along the river's edge. If you want to try your hand at fishing, there is a small trail that leads down to the water's edge near the River House - just beware of the poison oak. Our propane fire pits are communal - one is located next to the kitchen, and one is next to the river. Both have igniters, just read the directions for lighting. We do not allow individual fire pits, nor wood-burning fires due to the county-wide burn ban that is in effect every summer. Our kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig, electric skillet, 3 propane skillets and a grill, blender, cooking utensils, sink with running water, breakfast table, and extra seating. If you're bringing substantial amounts of food/beverage, you should bring a cooler, as space in the fridge is limited. All food will need to be kept either in the refrigerator bins, or in your own cooler or bin that animals can't get into. I do not provide food products such as coffee, creamer, seasonings, oils, butter, etc - basically anything that could spoil. I do provide a limited number of k-cups for the Keurig, in case you just want a quick (if not that great) cup of coffee in the morning (please limit your use to 2 per person). I offer a 15% discount when all three tents are rented by the same party, so just send me a message if you're interested in bringing friends. I'm also open to hosting small weddings/events of 50 or less - we host our own events here every summer and it's been a hit so I'm offering it up to others as well. I do provide a limited number of k-cups for the Keurig, in case you just want a quick (if not that great) cup of coffee in the morning (please limit your use to 2 per person). I offer a 15% discount when all three tents are rented by the same party, so just send me a message if you're interested in bringing friends. I'm also open to hosting small weddings/events of 50 or less - we host our own events here every summer and it's been a hit so I'm offering it up to others as well. Weekend Trip to Timberlake Campground & RV Park

Great little campground for campers! We brought our travel trailer out for a weekend trip so we could be near Hood River And this campground was great for us. Nicely wooded, small little spots that fit our camper and had space for a table and fire ring. There was a playground near the office that my 3yo enjoyed. Plus the beautiful drive to get there along the gorge. Definitely recommended!

Weekend Trip to Mt Hood Vanlife Oasis w/ Coworking!

Camp Cedar Creek is a gem. It's just off 26, and super convenient to lots of hiking and amenities but it feels nice and remote. I van camped with my partner, and having the Blue Barn with a fully stocked kitchen, hang out zone, ping pong table, and clean showers and bathrooms was super handy. We loved walking down to the creek and hiking around the trails, and Jeremy and Lauren (and Juno!) were very welcoming.

It was our second visit to lions Mane camp site and we just had a blast! If you live in Portland it is so fast to get to but you truly feel as though you are immersed in wilderness. We relaxed around the fire pit, made smores and explored the hiking trails. We even checked out some other sites which we plan to book soon. Lovely quiet campground. The site are somewhat close but I never felt like my neighbor was on top of me. Not much to do in the campground itself but great place to stay while visiting the gorge that's not near the road or r/r tracks. Seemed like a fav of fishermen as many sites had boats

(formally site #9) Look for the first tree on the right when you enter the campground and park just beyond it.

We had a great camping trip at this location (2 nights) and would happily come back again. The host provided great directions to the property and was easy to locate from the road. All of the sites were easy to identify and the grounds were really well maintained, clean, and well kept. We enjoyed walking in the stream, hiking to the lookout of Mt Hood, and hanging out at the site. Thanks for hosting us!

We enjoyed a lovely walk down by the creek and around the property, so we got some good nature time. Lauren and Jeremy were responsive and helpful. We'd come back in a second.

The site was amazing. Creek ran right by the camp site so you had your own private little play area. Brought my 4 year old for his first camping trip just him and I, and he had a great time. Clean and quiet, great location if youre trying to get away from the "state park" type camp sites! I will definitely be going back!

Weekend Trip to Waterfall Sanctuary

Tyla is an awesome host! I booked this very last minute and Tyla was very accommodating and understanding. The site was quiet, lots of natural sounds to fall asleep to. Only think I wished I was aware of beforehand is that the site was all gravel, which made pitching a tent difficult / not the most comfortable (I used a thin backpacking sleeping pad). Outside of that, the facilities were great, the cafe was a nice tough to go grab coffee in the morning, and the hiking trails nearby were great. Would definitely come back with a thicker mattress or to car camp! Thank you Tyla!

I am so happy we booked this place! It was the first stop on the way to Crater Lake. Hwy 26 is a great little adventure. We loved the barn ! It was great because I didn’t have to set up camp while traveling. It was so nice to make breakfast in the morning and take the dogs on a walk on the off leash trails! The barn also has nice clean flushing toilets and clean, hot showers. There’s games and a couch to hang out which is nice if the weather turns bad. All the amenities are there. The hosts were responsive and kind. I definitely will be returning if they will have me. The Mt Hood area is amazing. Little Crater Lake is nearby and worth it!

This place was amazing! The barn was especially nice because we were traveling to Crater Lake. (Hwy 26 is a nice way to get there! ) The barn had everything we needed to cook food, shower and hang out so we didn’t have to unload everything. It made it very easy to get back on the road. The property was beautiful and we were able to walk the dogs on the off leash trails in the evening and in the morning before we got back on the road which was great! The barn has clean showers and bathrooms too. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. The barn was a very cool open space that has a nice hang out vibe. Lots of stuff to do around Sandy too! I’ll definitely return ! Dog friendly and affordable!

Site 5 was great for my small tent- just a cleared dirt space with a picnic table and umbrella. It had been very dry though and the space was *super* dusty from the fine dirt which got all over everything pretty quickly. Fortunately, it rained overnight on my first night there just enough to saturate and hold it down.

What a beautiful property! All the sites were really spread out and we had so much space to ourselves. Overall, it was very quiet and peaceful. We loved spending time at the river and the shared beach area and there were a lot of places to walk and explore. I would recommend arriving in the daytime as this site isn't as well marked as some of the other sites. No picnic table or sign to really label it as a campsite. The bathroom is a bit further from this site as well if that is important to you.
