I raise my sheep on fresh grass and sunshine. Come see for yourself here on the ranch.
Pitch a tent on the pasture and literally count the sheep around you before falling asleep or climb the hill and see for miles in every direction. We may be close to the road, but it doesn't feel like it.
We can accommodate campers, RVs, trucks, tents, and vans. 4 sites to chose from.
Each site has access to a toilet, potable water, shower, picnic tables, trash disposal, and we allow campfires (outside of burn bans), and pets.
We also sell fresh eggs, firewood, and lamb sausage.
Our guests love staying with us: "There’s fireside fun in fresh country air, rolling hills around the farm to walk along to enjoy the wide expansive view, and sights and sounds of animals around camp to make for a relaxing day. There’s kittens, dairy sheep, gigantic but friendly herd dogs, and a variety of chickens and ducks. The host was kind and friendly. Try the sheep’s milk cheese - what a treat!"

This campsite is a pull thru road that has a sun and wind block overlooking local farm fields. Please note that SELF-CONTAINED vehicles are required for this site, as this is a dry camp with no water access or restrooms. Camp is two miles from freeway exit yet miles from any home other than the working homestead that was started in 1890 with huge barn built in 1906 next door. This is a great place to rest for the night or a week. - simple, safe, and private out of the way. From I-84 you will take exit 198 for Lorenzen/McClintock Rd. Turn onto Lorenzen. Drive one mile until you get to an intersection next to a grain bin. Turn left (west) and drive for almost one mile. As you near the two openings for the site, you will see the sun shelter directly on your left. You want to turn at the 2nd opening, by the sign that says IN. You can pull up right next to the shelter and set up your space however you like. That way, when you leave you will exit by the sign that says OUT and be headed back towards the interstate like you came.
This site is 12 miles west from the world-famous Pendleton Round-Up. 8 miles east of Echo Ridge Winery, Sno Road Winery, Echo historical museum, and Echo Golf Course. Simple dining can be found in Echo at H and P cafe and in nearby Stanfield at Broken Barrel Restaurant/Bar with great burgers.

Basic site but it was well kept and serene surroundings. Nothing to do so more a place to land for the evening . I suggest getting there before dark bc it might be difficult to find plus you'd miss the sunset which is wonderful. You can hear hwy 84 but it's background. The wind through the corn was what we heard most through the night

We stayed at peepler campsite in our 24’ trailer and it worked out great for us. It was quiet. The road noise in the far distance sounded a bit like the ocean so it actually added to the atmosphere. We sat outside in the evenings in a sea of hay, and enjoyed the stars! Thanks for sharing your place Russell!

We spent two nights in the treehouse. The view was awesome! It was quiet, secluded and relaxing. The outside shower was super fun to use and inside the treehouse had everything you would need. Weather was perfect and we enjoyed the town of Goldendale.

Wow. Just wow. This treehouse exceeded all our expectations! What a wonderful night we had celebrating my husband’s birthday. We BBQ’d on the deck, explored the grounds with our golden retriever and slept in the trees and under the stars. The outdoor shower was wonderful and the outdoor toilet was 100/10! We even had a resident tree frog visit the deck as well. We will definitely be back!

5 nights at B&B Treehouse Ranch
Three of us (Grandmother, mom, grandson) enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay at Scott's Private Treehouse With Amazing View. The beds were very comfortable, the tiny kitchen area had just what we needed to make our own modest meals, and the convenience of a plumbed toilet and shower was awesome! This was luxurious compared to the tent camping we usually do.
We were there in August and lucked out on comfortable weather in the mid-70s with night-time breezes wafting through the cabin at night. AC was available if needed, though. I haven't slept so well in years!
The sunset view of Mt. Hood was lovely, and the stars at night inspiring.
A great base of operations for Columbia River explorations.

1 night at B&B Treehouse Ranch
We absolutely loved our stay in this adorable, well-appointed treehouse. Temps were around 100 degrees at check in time so we killed a few hours in Goldendale to enjoy some air conditioning. We were delighted to find that the cute treehouse had a window air conditioner! In addition to being cute and cozy, the treehouse has the best toilet ever, lol. (We couldn’t figure out how to get hot water for the shower, but we like the idea of an outdoor shower and really want to return!) Thanks for sharing this gem of a treehouse. 10/10!

This washout first Hipcamp experience. We decide to stay at this location on our way to Idaho to break up our drive. The location is easy to find and very quiet with the only sounds of coyotes at night. The owners dog was quick to greet us and played with our dog. He was so nice he played next to our trailer for most of the night and kept the coyotes up on the hill all night long. Jarrod was a great host and made sure to say hello to us after we arrived and to make sure everything was good and offer any help. He also stopped by in the morning to tell us goodbye. There is zero cell service at this location so if you need to contact Jarrod prior to arrival make sure you do so before you get near hos place. once connected to WIFI there everything was good to go. the water,power, and sewer hookup were good and reliable. if you are going to use the sewer you may want to make sure you bring an extra long hose or hook 2 together. All in all I would recommend this location to anyone and will stay here again in the future.
