The loft is equipped with a night relief station, an old-fashioned water basin, a refrigerator, a microwave, beds to sleep four, a table and chairs, a sitting area, rocking horses, a weight area, and room to romp (no shower). More than 20 art projects are available, along with a horse experience (for a fee, no riding), walking trails through the woods, a play structure, picnic area, garden and fruit trees (in season), a fire pit, a barbecue, and plenty of happy pause places to relax. Eagle Mountain Farm and Retreat is located in a picturesque, healthy forest outside Cottage Grove, Oregon. We offer two tent sites, a 20' yurt, and an intimate bedroom bungalow, available year-round for Hipcamp guests. Our mountain property sits at the end of a private residential road, close to I-5 and downtown Cottage Grove. Alongside the hosts’ house, there are a few other residents on the property. The area is rich with recreation opportunities, including biking, hiking, canoeing, boating, mushroom hunting, swimming, hunting and fishing, gold panning, rockhounding, and wildlife viewing. Eugene and the University of Oregon campus (including Hayward Field) are just 30 minutes away. It’s about an hour to the Oregon Coast, 15 minutes to Cottage Grove Lake, and 30 minutes to Dorena Reservoir. Umpqua National Forest is also nearby, with stunning waterfalls such as Spirit, Moon, and Pinard Falls only 45 minutes to an hour away. The Cottage Grove area is known for its covered bridges, mining history, and the scenic Row River Trail bike path. Film buffs may recognize local spots from Buster Keaton’s The General, Stand By Me, and Animal House. You’ll also find nearby farms, breweries, and vineyards offering tours and tastings. We are cannabis-friendly and ask that guests use responsibly. Well-behaved, friendly pets are welcome, but they must be attended at all times, as our neighbors keep goats and chickens. We are a country setting on a dead end gravel road, only 15-20 minutes from the heart of eugene and the U of O…”Lorane Hwy” is actually a beautiful country road with minimal traffic. We are 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Oregon coast. There are 2 organic farm stands within 5 minutes of us where you can get fresh produce, berries, homemade baked goods and homemade breads and soap, jams, pickles etc… you are welcome to eggs from our free range organic fed chickens. Our neighbors have chickens, horses and dogs so you may hear a dog barking and other animal sounds… we live in a house down the driveway and are available for any concerns.

Such a thoughtfully designed tiny home! We had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The farm fresh eggs were SO delicious! We saw a deer roam right by the window in the morning; what a treat. Would definitely recommend staying here when around the Eugene area!

Great little tiny house cabin with all the essentials! We got in late, and were a little nervous arriving, but the host left the lights on for us and everything was easy to find and locate. Our dog enjoyed running around the yard, and the outdoor shower was great!

Such a cute stay! Easy clear directions. Nice private outdoor space. The tiny home is well built and sturdy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Fans were great for needed heat or to stay cool. It was really quiet too.

This tiny home was the perfect spot to start our camping/ glamping road trip. It’s a perfect distance from Eugene, but quiet enough that you don’t have the city noise. My kids loved the yard and sleeping in the loft. We were grateful for the kitchen and a warm shower. Thanks Marjie!

Very cute and rustic tiny home! Great yard and best vault/pit/composting toilet ever I’ve used!! Steep ladder to loft sleeping. Not for the older “up at night” folks. Downstairs sleeping OK for short adult or kid(s). Fantastic romantic getaway for young adventurers! A few blankets are available but recommend bringing your own sleeping bag and pillows!!!!

What a sweet spot! Small and everything we needed. A little kitchen with a fridge and stove with a cute little breakfast nook. Utensils and cookware was there to use and even a ziplock bag for left overs. 🤍 The composting outhouse was clean and didn’t smell, we’ve been in a lot! The outdoor shower was hot, but the day was a bit brisk so we didn’t linger:) Great spot. We will definitely use it again!

Amazing oasis up in the hills of Eugene. The tiny home had everything you would need and it was so well thought out. The home is private but the hosts are very responsive. We planned a last minute one night trip to Eugene and stumbled upon this spot. Wish we could have stayed longer. We loved it and so did our dog. Can’t wait to return and recommend the house to our friends.

What an absolutely lovely tiny house. We could not believe how well maintained and comfortable it was. There were so many adorable little touches that made our stay so easy and fun, too! And our chihuahua had a ball!
