This 55 acre park is home of a large sandstone that contains 8 markings believed to have been made by Vikings many years ago. The park features a seasonal waterfall, covered picnic areas, playground, amphitheater with seating, community building, scenic views, gift shop and approximately 2 miles of nature trails. Be advised that most tent sites have a tent pad but a few are primitive mountain terrain (rocky). We offer maintained camping sites which are closer to the main entrance and are easily accessible with standard vehicles as well as more our more natural habitat spots that are further into the back pasture. We have easy access to two main highways with the nearest Walmart 10 minutes away. Good cell phone coverage for all the main providers at most locations on the property. From the RV park it is approximately a 15 minute walk to the creek, 10 minutes from the barn. A truck or SUV can usually drive right to the creek if weather is decent. Great area to walk around and explore the wildlife or the guinea hen and turtles we have on the property. For our self-contained RVers we have various areas to utilize the grass but yet still close to shade, some with picnic tables, fire pits and some without but we are growing into those features for all sites. These areas also have great star gazing and pretty secluded. Self-contained RV sites can fit up to 45' RV, we ask that if you are towing you remove your vehicle prior to going into the site areas. We also have areas with concrete if you prefer to stay there also suitable for over 45'. Regardless of the site we have some communal fire pits to use and wood for a small fee. We have a porta potty in a privacy tent for those tent campers and can be moved closer to sites if needed. We added 2 electric spots 50/30 amp hookups both are full sun great star gazing at night. Neither area has table or firepit as of yet. Animals are welcome but we ask they stay on a leash. We have spotted several turtles on the property, and we have free roaming guinea fowl to help keep down on the pesky bugs. We do have mosquitos, tics etc. on the property so please come prepared. We have a 13,000 sq ft building with Military Surplus, flags, FREE morning coffee and a small vending machine with drinks, snacks and ice cream in freezer 7 days a week 9am to 5pm. We do have locked gates after hours, so please let us know if you need a gate code. We make it easy to get in and out of the property with three entrances/exits and large enough for big rigs to pull in. We are on US HWY 60, aprox. 1.5 miles West of Indigo Sky Casino and a short 3 miles from River Bend Casino and Twin Bridges State Park. We are close to Grand Lake which is a premier fishing location and host top professional fishing tournaments here. Grand Lake is great for Large Mouth Bass, bluegill, smallmouth bass, white crappie and channel catfish. If you're looking for something different, they are known for having spoonbill as well. For the kids there is a Safari Park not too far from us with lots of animals to checkout.

Nice spot to spend a night. The shower, restroom, and laundry were clean and the water was hot. You can hear the interstate traffic but it didn't bother us at all. We would stay again!

Very simple campsite right off I-40. Perfect overnight stay. Shower was wonderful. There are laundry facilities too. Also, a pretty nice play area for kids and adults. Burl was very welcoming.

This was such a special place, and we loved the wooded seclusion of site 5. The hammock was a treat for our daughters, and our dogs loved roaming around off leash. The trails and property are so well maintained, and the owners were incredibly hospitable. We'll definitely be back!

Easy to find and pull into. Nice laundry facility. Beside historic Route 66. Also beside the interstate, so if that kind of noise disrupts your sleep, this may not be the best place for you. It didn't bother me. Cute decorations for the autumn season and a huge community fireplace with wood was a nice touch.

Heavener Runestone is breathtaking! This is our third time, and not our last! We even golfed at nearby Wolf Mountain, on a very well maintained golf course. Clean bathroom and shower house. We found this campground 4 years ago, and have built it into our travels. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time at site 2. Easy access to the composting toilet (which is awesome!) for my toddlers and it was nice and open for them to run around. The picnic table, hammocks, and grate for cooking over the fire were awesome additions as well!! We will definitely be back, and are excited to try out the more primitive camping sites Ash has to offer!

Burl met us promptly when we arrived and graciously offered us any site we wanted. We chose a site next to the bathhouse because it was a bit further from the road. All the sites have full hookups and are mostly level. Burl and his family live on this working farm with horses, goats, chickens, and probably a lot more that we didn’t see. The bathhouse has a laundry room and one shower/bathroom that were cool and clean. We enjoyed watching them work with the horses after dinner and sitting in the rocking chairs in the shade. I recommend Deepcreek Ranch and would certainly stay there again. We couldn’t resist buying a few dozen farm fresh eggs for our journey.

We loved camping on Ash’s land. The site was easy to get to and set up perfectly. The fire pit had an iron grate you could lay across it making it easy to cook over the open fire. We will definitely be back!
