We are happy to help get your gear back to the cabins with the farm cart and then it is an 8-minute walk along a hay pasture to the parking area. Tent Camping Our tent camping spots are located under Mother Oak, a 100-year-old oak tree in the middle of our farm. With ample shade, a fire pit, and nearby portapotty, you can relax under the stars into the night. Hiking trails weave through the back of the property and you are welcome to explore those as well. Because we are a working homestead and farm, a few things are true: -Sometimes there’s mud. We suggest boots for walking around the property and in the woods. -Our farm animals are great - and may also bite. Please do not pet or chase them. We are happy to arrange opportunities to interact with the animals. Just ask! -Not always, but at times, our neighbors will start farming early in the morning and you can hear their machinery. All of our sites have privacy but are not truly remote. We want you to enjoy yourselves but please be mindful that our house is on the property as well as our neighbors. Music needs to be turned down to a low level by 11 PM. We can accommodate pop-up campers, camper vans, etc near Mother Oak as well. Please message with any questions before reserving. Additional fees would apply. We can also accommodate larger tent camping groups depending on the day. Additional fees would apply. The homestead is located near 58 so you can hear cars during the day and night. The cabins are about a ½ mile from the road so the noise is greatly reduced. Truly a wonderful campground! We were bummed the pool wasn’t open, but one of the fishing ponds provided us hours of entertainment. Showers and bathrooms were very clean and accessible. Many spots including ours (hillside #33) were nicely shaded. If you have kids, I recommend bringing bicycles and fishing gear!

I had an Amazing Stay @The Cleveland Winery. I was passing through town looking to stay a night so I could explore a little of Cleveland and also make my way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame the next morning. I called around 4pm to see if it was possible for me to stay for one night figuring it was last minute and wanted to make sure this was ok. I was told by one of the workers that that would be fine. They informed me that they were having a few birthday celebrations at the place to make sure I was aware and ok with it. I had no problem with that and made a reservation and headed there. Upon arrival I was greeted by one of the Co-Owners of the establishment Annette. She was the sweetest, friendliest and welcoming person I’ve ever met. She showed me where I could park my vehicle and also where the restrooms were and gave me a tour of the small but very cute winery. She told me to make myself at home and get comfortable. Throughout the evening I interacted with so many of the patrons from the place and had such an amazing time. They showed me what Cleveland Hospitality was all about. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I even helped light a few fires and helped Ms. Annette with a few other odds and ends. Ms. Annette is truly a Beautiful Soul and I’m so glad I stayed and got to meet these wonderful people. Thanks So Much for making my stay in Cleveland Unforgettable. Don’t hesitate to book and enjoy their loving atmosphere.

We liked this inner city camp. It was quiet at night had excellent wine and was convenient to tha zoo and downtown. I'm sure we will be back. The herds of wondering ducks were fun to watch. They had good wifi, so we could work right from the patio.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. They had a shop at the front with snacks and merch. Bathrooms were clean, and showers had great water pressure and temp. The showers are a bit low, so if you're 6 ft you may have to crouch a bit. The place was quiet, with respectful neighbors. I had water and electric hookups, and it looked like there was a place for grey water disposal, but didn't use it this time. Also, it seemed like the pool was getting remodeled and could be cool feature to try in the future.

Weekend Trip to Camp Hiyo

Took my mom out camping for mother's day and we both loved staying at Camp HiYo. It was quiet, short ride to town if you need anything. Staff were very friendly. Clean dog runs for your fur babies. Gold Coast was really nice there was loungers, picnic table, fire pit and a propane bbq. All concrete with a gravel pad. 10/10 will be back.

Really pretty, well taken care of place. Level site worth a wood deck. Host was helpful and friendly. Lots of permanent residents had really fun Halloween decorations. We thought we were getting away from the Interstate to a quieter spot but didn't realize that it was right of of a busy highway and there was a lot of truck noise. I used earplugs and it didn't bother me.

Perfect location for downtown Cleveland. Very clean bathrooms secure campsite with hook ups if desired on perfectly flat concrete pads. Interesting animals, including ducks and dogs and cats. Nice outdoor patio available for relaxation also games activities for kids and adult adults.

We had a great stop over at Cleveland Winery. The host was very friendly and the wine was delicious! It was a perfect oasis in the middle of the city, and a great place to stay for our visit to Cuyahoga Valley National Park the next day.

Great spot for an overnight or winery visit when you don’t want to drive. They make their own wines, and have a great setting with a shaded picnic and deck area and a grassy area with yard games. For us it worked really well, but note that these are not tent sites, but rather pull in campervan/RV sites on a concrete slab. Power and water can be available (need to pre-arrange) and the property is gated and locked at night and felt safe. Truly a neighborhood gem.

Quirky but fun urban camping. Small farm with goats, chickens, pigs and many ducks. Winery open in evenings. Anthony was an accommodating and helpful host. Very close to Progressive Field!
