Haymark Farm is a 285-acre farm in Ewing, KY, where alfalfa hay is produced. The farm has picturesque ridges and hills at one of the highest elevations in the area, allowing spectacular sunrise and sunset views. Three different branches of Buchanan creek begin on the farm and run together on the back of the property. There are also two small ponds and several barns (including one for your horses) on the property. Property is located about 2 miles from the small town of Oak Hill. The area has a Welsh heritage and offers a Welsh museum. Once a prominent brick manufacturing area. Today the area is home to a decent size Old Order Amish community. You will see horses and buggies daily and there are several Amish businesses open to the public including a huge greenhouse, a hardware and bait & tackle store and a bulk food store to name a few. Our area is also a popular stop for hunters of all types since we are close to Wayne National Forest and Cooper Hollow Wildlife area. We need to mention that pets are welcome but need to be on leash or contained at all times due to horses and other animals that are nearby. There is also 4 dogs who live on the property and are always on patrol :) They keep the monsters away but are welcoming to our guests! We look forward to seeing you soon! We loved RV camping on Frankie's land.. She was very nice and we loved her place. Sugar, the farm dog, made our trip even better. My dog and Sugar loved each other and I loved her too... Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful farm and wonderful ponds. Very close to our home but we felt like we was 'out of town'. Very nice sites... All of them would have been great. We can't wait for warmer weather so we can come back!

Great site for both tent and rv camping. We tent camped this time around. Plenty of dry firewood provided on site. The electric hookup had a 30amp to 15amp adapter for electrical needs and running water that tasted quite good too. Tranquility wildlife reserve is directly across the street - easy access. While the site is on a main road, the nights were quiet and traffic minimal. Mint mobile Cell service and still had signal.

Great site with lots of privacy. We enjoyed walking around all the trails on the property. Great setup with level, gravel pad to park on. We did not have to do any leveling. Lots of firewood to use. We enjoyed the little perks of the basketball hoop and axe throwing. We were fortunate enough to be there on a clear night that allowed for perfect stargazing. The surrounding countryside was beautiful adding to the experience. We definitely want to return.

Great spot! Many trails in the area. Fairly secluded. I think there is one other spot but we never saw or heard anyone. Right off the road but there is very little traffic if any. Seasoned firewood included. Looking forward to a return trip.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to Bear Pond. There are several spots that would be great to set up a tent but we decided to use Nola’s Cabin which was a perfect combination of amenities and very comfortable for the two of us. Easy to get to and very private. We loved being the only campers. The cooking area was nice to have and we were able to bring less stuff than we normally do which was great coming from 4 hours away. There’s loads to do in the area and stores close for supplies if needed. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully bring our family next time.

This is a fabulous place! We enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to enjoy it. Took advantage of the pond and caught a few varieties of fish. A bounty of nature all around- beautiful views of sunsets, farm animals, butterflies, fireflies and countryside. Site was secluded and private, pet friendly and our dog loved running around. He found some manure to roll around in 🤦‍♀️ so the full hook ups to hose him down came in handy. We took advantage of the fire pit/wood that was provided to enjoy a fire under the covered RV pavilion. Our 33ft trailer fit great and there was still plenty of space for seating area, grilling, etc. Hosts greeted us on arrival and we're welcoming and friendly. They communicated an issue with plumbing that was getting looked at and might require water shut off for short time, and let us know ahead of time to prepare if needed. If we are ever in this area again, we'd love to enjoy this place again.
