Woody is our peaceful hilltop home nestled amongst the scenic hills in southeast Ohio between Hocking Hills State Park and Zaleski State Forest. Enjoy staying on a hilltop meadow filled with a mix of wildflowers and song birds. The meadow is surrounded by a tall mixed hardwood forest where campers are free to walk the mowed path through the woods. Amazing campground, and Austin & Kate were awesome. Highly recommend whether it's hot or cold, this place takes care of you. And be sure to just buy their wood for your fires, it's cheaper than Kroger, and it burns way longer.

Deer Haven is a WONDERFUL property! Brent literally has just about everything you will need during your stay in the cabin. It is secluded, peaceful and clean! Every morning you walk outside to a picture perfect view. We caught and released some bass, bluegill and more out of the pond, the trails around the property have a clear path to walk through and the hot tub was very clean and relaxing. We throughly enjoyed our time here and we are already planning our next stay at Deer Haven!

What an amazing spot & amazing time. Robert & Maria do such an awesome time taking care of the spot, it really is an oasis in Bellefontaine, even the bathroom situation is spotless.
I 100% recommend! I went solo this time, but I'll definitely be back with my kids!

Weekend Trip to Woody Acres
We rented the cabin here for the weekend and it was so peaceful, clean and cute! They also allow dogs so it was even more fun having our pup there with us. The trails on the property are nice to walk plus there’s a lot of other trails nearby. The other rentals and tent spots were far enough away from one another to have privacy which was also nice. Overall it was a great stay on a beautiful piece of land.

Me my husband and our two dogs went to visit hocking hills for the weekend and this was just down the road! I am not the biggest fan of camping but my husband loves it. So I opted for the Hickory Hut and it was fantastic. The night sky was the most beautiful thing in the world. Everything was clean and the outdoor shower was better than the one we had back at home! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They had other trails we were able to take our dogs for a walk on.

What a lovely spot for a weekend getaway! It was perfect for enjoying the outdoors but still having the comforts of a comfy bed, ceiling fan, mini fridge, etc. The cabin and especially the kitchen were really well stocked, and we enjoyed using the outdoor shower and checking out the trails on the property. Kate and Austin were really welcoming but we had a lot of privacy as well. We would definitely stay again for our next trip to the Hocking Hills area!

Staying at the Hickory Hut was the perfect weekend getaway! Pulling into the driveway you're greeted by prairies on both sides filled with wildflowers, parking is right next to the cabin, the outdoor shower was one of my highlights, to take a hot shower with sunflowers growing up and over the walls of the shower was such a great experience! You don't get much more into nature than at this site. We loved how close all the hiking trails. We will definitely be back again!

The cabin was new and had most of what we needed. It was really pretty and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I took a bath in the big soak tub and that was probably the highlight of my long weekend. It was amazing. If I were giving stars, I would give 4.5/5. I can't give it a full 5 stars because it wasn't as advertised in a few ways. I believe that some pictures got mixed together for all of the cabins. I was expecting a hot tub and a picnic table on the deck. It was still beautiful and the stars were amazing in such a dark area. William was very kind and I felt comfortable being around him. He brought me wood in a frontloadet and only charged $10 for more than enough for the weekend. to He seems to be building 4 or 5 different things at once. It was a little dusty because of the gravel road, but I was expecting that. I had wished there was more access to walking trails. There may have been some, but they were not immediately obvious. So I guess my recommendation to the host would be to adding more information about the property. There was also no wifi. I personally didn't need it. My kid was with us. They suggested starlink would probably work there, so I suggest either not saying there is wifi or getting wifi that will actually work. Great trip, mostly.
