Croaky Oak Clearing of Good Knights Reserve is located in Ohio and a 25-30 minute drive to Dublin. You'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property. A 1/2 mile drivable path will take you to the one site offered. Here you can pitch your tent, build a campfire, catch and release a few fish from the pond, or choose to sit on the floating dock with your feet in the water. There are also a few short trails to meander through. We charge by the carload & there are different rates for driving back toward the woods for camping depending on the number of wheels & the weight of your vehicle (a factor on the wear & tear on the land). We believe in going outside to play, growing & eating fresh food, strengthening family bonds and promoting the awareness of our natural resources.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1) The speed limit is 5 mph as soon as you enter the property (kids & dogs are quick to dart in front of you). 2) As a state registered campground, it is mandatory that you check in at the house to fill out a Registration Form before heading to your campsite. 3) No glass allowed anywhere on the property (we don't want our feet or paws cut open and can do without flat tires). 4) Children under 18 must be attended to at all times for their safety (the frog pool is 10' deep, the pond is 8-10' deep depending on rains, and the creek can turn into a churning river).

My stay at the farm was short, I really wish I had more time to explore Christy’s beautiful property. If you’re okay with just a porta potty, this place will exceed any expectations for family camping. I will def be back with my kids to pick berries and explore the edible plants in the woods . Christy was very accommodating and sweet. I’d recommend this place to anyone solo or family camping!

We had such a nice time on Glen’s property. The farm was beautiful, well manicured with a great view of the pond. The site is level and graveled with a nice table, chairs and fire pit provided. Electric is 50 amp and 110 but you’ll definitely need at least a 75ft extension cord. There is a spigot available for water but no bathroom, so plan accordingly. Glen is friendly, hospitable and offered us several eating suggestions in Yellow Springs. Trail Town Brewery and Sunrise Cafe were awesome! The space is private although the host has a cabin nearby but hidden by huge spruce trees. We only heard the neighbors once and it was no big deal. Glen has many cows on the farm and it was nice to see and hear them. Would highly recommend this site. We would definitely return!

Originally, we had booked the Boondocking, but switched to the last minute because of the warm weather conditions. We ended up in the full hook up. Facilities were amazing, but the campsites were very close to one another, and there was very little privacy. I think the Boondocking would’ve been amazing if the weather had been cooler and we could’ve just operated off of our generator. Everybody was friendly and it was a quiet, family oriented campground.

I was greeted by the host on arrival, very friendly and helpful; she even delivered firewood to my site. The property is all grass, including the RV pads, very nice compared to dirt pads. No real hiking trails, but a great little maze for the kids. An old picnic table, firepit are on the pad and nearby is a porta pottie. A nice peaceful place for a weekend, there were about 6 other campers at the property when I was there. The host was a delight... .

we are cycling across the usa and arrived at Glen’s beautiful property - the pond, the happy criollo cattle, the easy access to electrical and water hookups for our support RV. communication was clear, we were aware of the no toilet situation (apparently others aren’t aware of “no dump” here, understood as it is a pristine farm!). the quiet was much appreciated after a few campsites near train tracks and freeways.
additionally the farm stand just up the road provided fresh eggs and after a text
exchange, melissa baked us two loaves of banana bread and a sourdough loaf that we picked up in the morning.
definitely, day 13 became a highlight of our 64 day adventure.
