We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible. The property is full of wildlife and magnificent views and rainbows galore, with minimal light pollution, our night sky's are spectacular. We are within a 30 minutes drive of all of Hocking Hills State Parks, Nature preserves and so much more. Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area. Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more. Southern Ohio offers some amazing roads for motorcycle rides, including the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, The Windy 9, The Triple Nickel and Three Rivers . Please message me on the morning of your stay with an ETA so I can make sure I'm here to great you. RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine. If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180). Every space in this property has been custom built to create an unforgettable experience. This is the only 10 ft walled yurt in the region offering a spacious loft. Lay back and enjoy watching the clouds go by and seeing the rustling of the trees in the wind through our 5 foot dome. At night stare up at the stars as you fall asleep on your full sized queen beds with memory foam mattresses. The main floor offers a very spacious living area with in floor radiant heat system to keep you toasty warm in the winter. The space also includes a mini-split unit that offers additional heating as well as A/C in the summer months. A pull out couch is provided to accommodate any extra guest. The living area is open to the beautiful kitchen with custom made cabinets and rustic center island constructed out of old salvaged barn beams. The large marble island top provides ample space for food prep and dining. Our kitchen has all full sized appliances with large farm sink, full sized French door fridge and a convection oven. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics you would need to prepare simple dishes including cooking oil, spices, flour, sugar, basic cookware and baking utensils. A Keurig coffee machine and pods are provided as well as a drip machine with ground coffee. Our bathroom provides every convenience and luxury during your stay. A large 6 foot walk-in shower is spacious and inviting. Admire the custom built vanity also constructed from salvaged barn beams. A full sized washer and dryer are located in the nook of the bathroom and guests are welcome to use throughout their stay. Our main floor also includes the master bedroom complete with full sized queen bed with memory foam mattresses, Storage ottoman and TV. As you make your way out the back door you will find a little oasis awaiting. Our patio area provides privacy and the opportunity to relax in nature. Soak in the 6 person hot tub or gather around the fire pit in the evenings with friends and family. A 6 person dining set is a perfect place to enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee in the morning. We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible. Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area. Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more. Southern Ohio offers some amazing roads for motorcycle rides, including the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, The Windy 9, The Triple Nickel and Three Rivers . Please message me on the morning of your stay with an ETA so I can make sure I'm here to great you. RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine. If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180). Every space in this property has been custom built to create an unforgettable experience. This is the only 10 ft walled yurt in the region offering a spacious loft. Lay back and enjoy watching the clouds go by and seeing the rustling of the trees in the wind through our 5 foot dome. At night stare up at the stars as you fall asleep on your full sized queen beds with memory foam mattresses. The main floor offers a very spacious living area with in floor radiant heat system to keep you toasty warm in the winter. The space also includes a mini-split unit that offers additional heating as well as A/C in the summer months. A pull out couch is provided to accommodate any extra guest. The living area is open to the beautiful kitchen with custom made cabinets and rustic center island constructed out of old salvaged barn beams. The large marble island top provides ample space for food prep and dining. Our kitchen has all full sized appliances with large farm sink, full sized French door fridge and a convection oven. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics you would need to prepare simple dishes including cooking oil, spices, flour, sugar, basic cookware and baking utensils. A Keurig coffee machine and pods are provided as well as a drip machine with ground coffee. Our bathroom provides every convenience and luxury during your stay. A large 6 foot walk-in shower is spacious and inviting. Admire the custom built vanity also constructed from salvaged barn beams. A full sized washer and dryer are located in the nook of the bathroom and guests are welcome to use throughout their stay. Our main floor also includes the master bedroom complete with full sized queen bed with memory foam mattresses, Storage ottoman and TV. As you make your way out the back door you will find a little oasis awaiting. Our patio area provides privacy and the opportunity to relax in nature. The large deck outside the main floor is truly your sanctuary. Eating together in a seating area among the trees is completely private. Nestled in the midst of the trees you have 360 degree views of the best nature has to offer, and there’s even a suspended net hammock for two, to lay in to view the Hills above and below, and all around you. Awe-inspiring sunsets, spectacular views of the leaves changing, bird watching, and tranquil relaxation will be your 24/7 experience. Under the Treehouse you will find a your own private grotto with 7 person hot tub, privacy screens and sitting area! Because of its location, it is protected from any weather, while still offering full-surround views of the woods and hills. The site was huge and pristine! The weather was not ideal for us novice campers, however, and we cut our trip a day short. But the location was wonderful, and the site was lovely, and the portapotty was very convenient. We will definitely consider returning in the spring with a better tent 😉

Perfect place for car camping and exploring the Hocking Hills region! Had no problem getting to our site even with slightly balded tires and some mud. Lovely property with towering hills surrounding you. In early November there wasn’t much foliage and so you can see the house and the other campsites but we were the only ones so it was no problem. Great fire ring, picnic table, and a nice love seat rocking bench. Was able to get WiFi by walking up near the house and the property was peaceful without any commotion! Our animals loved it too and really wanted to explore the hills and trails.

We loved camping at Hilltop over Halloween weekend. We went hiking in Hocking Hills on Saturday and had trick or treaters and decorated and won the best decorated contest! Karen was very thoughtful and had breakfast on Saturday morning. The only thing that I would change is the site itself. Some weren’t level but we adjusted our camper to be level. Bath house was great and clean with showers. We loved the dog park all fenced in at the top.

I spent 3 nights at Campsite #2 and my only wish is that it had been longer! The land is near some main roads but there's no intrusive traffic noise. This location is perfect for its proximity to amazing state and regional parks (check out Conkles Hollow, seriously under-appreciated beauty). Margie and Todd are excellent hosts and they've done so much to bring small perks to otherwise primitive camping experience. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The cabin as your night time ambiance is great for any dark enthusiast. 4 German Shepherds for those lovers of the breed. Having the turkey as your white noice was a great experience. So many other cool city escapes scattered across their property (even pigs). Take out what you take in as always!

First off, communication was great from the start. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival by Margie’s husband and their adorable dog. The property is really pretty. Not really remote but definitely had a feeling of enough privacy. We had our tiny teardrop trailer and stayed at Site #1 at the very front of the property. We would definitely stay here again if needing to be really close to all the trails in the Hocking Hills region.

It's a beautiful space and Marcy was very friendly. There's a large field for stargazing as well as forest sites. there was a very nice clean fire pit with a grill, and firewood and kindling were provided. There is a clean bathroom with a flush toilet and cold running water, and some thoughtful homey amenities. I came in at night and Marcy put on some lights for me, and then turned them off once I had a fire going. All in all a lovely experience.
