The site and location were exactly as described. The area was clean, with a raised platform for our tent. The grounds were wooded and quiet. This location was great for our daily excursions into the Hocking Hills State Park. Exactly what I was looking for for my son and I on this camping trip.

Great secluded quiet spot, felt a lot like public land camping, minus having a well placed (very clean!) outhouse. This was my first Time camping in ages and first time with my new tent, so it was a great intro into primitive style camping. We were able to comfortable fit 2 cars and 3 2-3 person tents in the space. Will absolutely be returning!

We had such a great time up here! John and Julie were so welcoming and kind! The area was in a beautiful field tucked away on a hilltop. The area was very private, and each campsite was spread out, if each were full it would still feel private. The land was very well maintained, and so were the bathrooms! It was so nice to have the luxury of a private bathroom and shower while camping, especially on a hot day. The trail and walkways around the fields were fun to explore and full of butterflies and birds! It was also close to town too, so it was easy to head in to visit some of my Athens favorites :) I’d absolutely recommend staying here, and will be back! I think this would be a really great spot to come back with a group of friends!

Best campground of our six week Rv trip. Beautiful hill with so many activities, panoramic views, lake access plus kayaks, private trails. Also you can have tents at an Rv site which was very nice for our group of five. But honestly the best thing was the owners our Rv broke down in the storm and they came out to personally help us then referred us to a traveling tech when our issue ended up being more severe. So incredibly polite and helpful.

Beautiful campsite with a really nice view of the hills. We were a little nervous that it was going to be crowded pulling in when we saw just how many sites there were, but we felt very private anyways. Site amenities like the fire pit and picnic table were very nice and it was super easy to rent kayaks and go out on the lake. Overall very nice and typical good campground experience but what really impressed me was the managers’ behavior on checkout day. Our RV wouldn’t start so we were unable to vacate our site on time. We told them what was going on and offered to pay for another day but they wouldn’t take a dime and even helped us get a technician to the site to get us out of the bind. They were genuinely some of the nicest folks I’ve met in a long long time and they really helped us out of our jam. Lovely lovely site. Can’t wait to be back!

I stopped in at Hilltop for one night with my pup along a road trip and we had a great time. The tent was super cute and cozy. Loved the little porch. Very clean bathroom facilities too. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely come back!

Really enjoyed the location and losing cell service was an added bonus. It was quiet and perfect. The site was clean and we appreciated the bonus of a citronella candle to keep the bugs away. Close to all things hocking hills.

A perfect spot to get away from the highway on my way back to NC from NE Ohio. A dark night sky made for fantastic star gazing. Will be back!

2 nights at Rustic Treehouse In Hocking Hills

Totally as advertised! Charming, complete, convenient, and super unique. Our small family loved our stay here. Our 4 year old loved watching movies in the suspended net, we enjoyed the hot tub late night, and we were minutes from town or some of our favorite hikes. Can’t wait to come back!

I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful property to stay at. This site was perfect for my 10x14 tent, a hammock and my truck. The flushable toilet in the outhouse was super nice and the hot shower was amazing after a long hike. Margie and Todd are great hosts, couldn't ask for nicer people. They also had some great suggestions for hiking. Thank you again for making our atay so wonderful. Maggie, Zowie and I can't wait to come back.

The sites were clean and tidy. They were a little close together, but everybody around us was very respectful and quiet by bedtime. The amenities were all clean and very nice. We would definitely go back.

The campground isn’t an excellent location in Logan Ohio. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Hocking Hills trails. We like that there was a little bit of a walking trail area in the campground and that we could rent canoes there. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Karin. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. The kids loved the playground and the bouncy pad and the mini golf. The campground was clean and quiet. We all had a great time.

The cabin was fantastic! It had a great view and was cozy. The beds were nice and the cookware was well stocked. Would stay here again! 10/10

We loved the stay here! It was very quiet and peaceful. The owners were very friendly and they provided wood for us at our site! The sites were clean and double 00 was convenient to get to the shower and bathroom. We stayed memorial weekend to see hocking hills state park and it was convenient to get there it was about a 18 minute drive but was worth it to stay here. We would definitely come back!

We are one of Ohio's only openly clothing optional and naturist friendly rentals. You of course do not have to be naked during your visit, but it is a safe place to explore the naturist lifestyle if you've ever been curious! We're located about 25 minutes south of Athens, Ohio and are within 30 minutes of some of the best hiking in the state. Learn more about this land: Come get cozy in the private and secluded hills and hollows of Pomeroy, Ohio! Only 25 min south of Athens, but a world away from work, hurry, and distractions.
