This is truly a beautiful place to bring the kids, your fur- babies or honeymoon. There's a full kitchen and more amenities than we can list. Pan for gold, go fishing, hike, check out “heaven” on the hike up The Mountain about 1,000 feet to see golf course, Stone Mountain, Blue Ridge mountains all while setting in a 20-foot observation tower with shelter, fire pit and more. absolutely wonderful place to wind down and enjoy nature. the cabin was the perfect size, spacious, warm and stocked with everything you’d need. the property was gorgeous, the trails right on site were a great introduction to the area before hitting Stone Mountain. both Marsha and Greg were welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for a cozy trip in the mountains.

Fantastic location with an incredible view of the mountains, like camping but with all the modern comforts you’d need. Excellent kitchen and eating area, huge deck to sit outside on and a very nice bathroom. We did 3 days here and did not see one other person or car drive by - this place is PRIVATE. Great location as it’s close to Linville Gorge, caverns, Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway you name it.

What a wonderful peaceful stay. Something about a hot tub in the woods melts away all worries and I'm so glad that Greg made time to take me up to the tower! Marsha and Greg are such wonderful hosts and I can't wait to come back.

Such lovely hosts and the views from their property will set your soul at rest. Everything from the tall trees that embrace the cabin to the beautiful songs of nature.
Unfortunately the forecast had my husband and I in house slippers and napping during the entirety of our visit but it was exactly what we needed. The first morning we lost power but Greg was so kind to stop by and offer to pick us up some breakfast as he made his errands and Marsha kept us updated on things until the power was back on.
The cabin was so clean with a relief to us as we don’t wear shoes inside and all of the linens, towels, throws etc were all perfectly clean as well. All the amenities were well provided and well thought out.
This is the coziest place I’ve stayed through HipCamp and we can’t wait to come back to explore more of the area before snowfall.

The cabin was a perfect getaway weekend for my husband and I (and our dog). It was 20 degrees outside the nights we stayed, but the cabin was warm and cozy with everything we needed. We loved hiking up to the tower and having a campfire at night. The hot tub was the best part! Stone Mountain Park is a short drive away and is one of the best parks in N.C. highly recommend!!
