Updated farmhouse on 30 acres with magnificent views! Evvie’s View is located on a working farm with chickens, vegetable garden and acres of white pine. Perfect spot for nature enthusiasts, plenty of hiking, kayaking, cycling and sightseeing opportunities! House sits off the road and is secluded, but easy access and conveniently located close to West Jefferson and Lansing. The new river is at the end of the road and there are creeks on the property. Beautiful peaceful stay surrounded by nature. Our hipcampers have access to more of the property, stream and Dog Creek. Picturesque setting with vegetable garden and chickens and magnificent views of Mount Jefferson from your front porch! Soak up nature at this peaceful home on grounds that have been lovingly cared for and farmed by the same family since 1802. Peaceful retreat that is close enough to town, while being secluded enough for a restful visit. Easy access The space 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom fully renovated 1950s farmhouse on 30 acres. Peaceful relaxing atmosphere but with modern conveniences. Plenty of space to spread out and soak up all the mountains have to offer. The New River is at the end of the road, plenty of hiking opportunities. With 30 acres and being set off the quiet mountain road you can truly get away from it all and unwind, while still conveniently located 8 miles from West Jefferson, 12 miles to Lansing and 20 miles to Sparta. Home is well stocked with basic necessities. Full eat in kitchen with electric oven, full size refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. 2 full baths, one with a tub and the other with a 4 foot shower stall. Laundry room. Enjoy farm living without any of the work, there is a vegetable garden and chickens on property. The views from the porch can’t be overstated, many claim Evvie’s View is one of the best views of Mount Jefferson in the county. Guest access Our hipcampers enjoy full access to the house and access to the surrounding acres of woods and creek. We also offer additional services such as shuttling to and from town, food pick up from local eateries. If interested request a list of services offered and fees. Additional services are only available with advanced notice. Home is well stocked with all basic necessities. Other things to note There are chickens on the property and vegetable gardens that are worked. We will periodically be on property tending to the farm Pet friendly, dogs must be leashed when outside and kept away from the chickens Must obey burn bans, no parties, please respect the land and neighbors No hunting trapping or shooting on the property.
