We offer a pull-through gravel driveway with a 40' x 24' covered awning that’s 14 feet high and set on a concrete pad. Sewer, water, and power hookups are ready for your use. Hook ups are located on the forest side of the awning.
The RV awning is situated between the national forest and our unoccupied barndominium (which we visit occasionally). Please note that outdoor security cameras and lights are present.
This property is a wildlife paradise, with frequent sightings of bear, cougar, deer, and many other woodland creatures. At the lowest side of the property, you can hear the steady flow of pristine, cold Berry Branch water. Sit back, relax, and listen to the creek while enjoying the wildlife—all while having convenient access to the tri-state area.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you’re only minutes from the Doe Mountain Recreation Area, which offers 8,600 acres of rugged mountain wilderness with trails for mountain biking, ATV riding, and dirt biking. Take a short drive to Watauga Lake and enjoy the stunning views where the mountains meet the water. You can fish, swim, or enjoy a variety of water sports.
Just down the road, Damascus, Virginia—home to the annual Trail Days Festival—is known as “Trail Town USA” for the convergence of four scenic trails, including the Appalachian Trail, U.S. Bicycle Route 76, Iron Mountain Trail, and Virginia Creeper Trail.
You’re also a short drive from Blowing Rock, North Carolina, which offers an array of family-friendly and cultural attractions, including Tweetsie Railroad, The Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, wineries, performing arts venues, and local festivals. Nearby Banner Elk, North Carolina features High Country adventures such as skiing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, rafting, and fishing.
