Our property is a small hobby farm. The meadow you will be camping in was formed in 1994 when hurricane Fran came through and laid down several acres of hardwood trees. The fallen trees were harvested and the land was cleared and a pond was built and a blueberry patch was planted.
Pitch your tent(s) in our private meadow with a small pond on our 21 acre property. You're welcome to fish and walk around the property. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the firepit and the beautiful starry nights. We have a very friendly farm dog named Luna that does roam the property and will likely visit you. Hi there! The Cozy Heron is an 𝙞𝙣-𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙣, riverside glamping resort. Noises of traffic from nearby highway is audible. Each wagon is equipped with calming sound machines that also double as bluetooth speakers to assist guests who may be bothered by sounds of nearby traffic. We currently have five covered wagons and one bath house. The property offers a community stone patio, firepit, grilling area, and large expansive lawn. The upper Cape Fear River flows below the property and Adirondack chairs and a few hammocks are conveniently located around the wagons and entire property for relaxation and pretty views!

The host Phillip was very easy to show me
where to set up. Very beautiful place. And at 20 degrees he sure made sure to check on me the next morning.
If your looking for a nice place to relax and get away from everything, but not to far to get to restaurant's and stores, check Phillips place out. You won't be disappointed.

We love camping at the blueberry farm! This is our 2nd time coming and we really hope to continue going back each year. The property is so peaceful and beautiful, especially in the fall.
We love that there's a bathroom and fridge we can use. Our dogs love the pond. We're hope really grateful to Phil for continuing to open his farm to campers. See you next year!

We arrived on Friday and were delighted to see the open fields, rolling hills and colorful canopy of fall trees. The fire ring, picnic table, and garbage were all conveniently located by the campsite. Setting up was easy and most of the land is flat, but not level. My dogs LOVED swimming in the pond and the hot outdoor shower was a plus for clean-up. Phillip and his wife were delightful hosts and Luna is a sweet pup. We will definitely return!

Phillips place is delightful! The campsite by the pond is a perfect spot to set up for a trip to the area. The site is incredibly well kept and Phillip ensures there is a clean trash can right there as well as a good stack of wood for fires. Access to the outdoor shower and indoor bathroom and dish washing area are also huge! His property is close to good hikes both in the Alamance County area as well as in the Triangle. He communicates clearly and promptly and couldn’t be more accommodating!

Weekend Trip to Cool Creek Farm
I rented the Hipcamp loft in the barn but actually brought my camper van and Melissa was so gracious to let me park it by the barn. Her property is outstanding and it was a real pleasure to stay there near the music venue I attended. It was like being at a retreat . . . so peaceful! The animals were very entertaining. She has horses, goats, chickens, and barn cats, The one drawback for me was the Wifi situation. There isn't any, and the signal wasn't strong enough for me to be able to access emails or send messages. It wouldn't matter except I run a business and need to be n touch with clients. All in all, a wonderful Hipcamp experience.

This was an amazing campsite with just the right amount of privacy. It's set in a quiet meadow surrounded by trees, which made it feel secluded and relaxing. The property is very well maintained and tidy, with a lovely pond nearby. We really enjoyed our time at this site and will definitely be booking again in the future.
