Weekend Trip to The Farm at Long Creek

Great isolated location. Frogs and other night critters sing you to sleep. Tent pad is excellent! Be sure to check out the town of Gold Hill.

This was our 4th trip to this site and it feels like it gets better each time. The new updates they've made are fantastic and make for such a great experience. Check them out!!

We really enjoyed this spot along with our dogs 🐕 Our one dog especially enjoyed the pond for fetching sticks! The canoe was a fun touch and we enjoyed some laps around the pond trying to spot the koi fish. The owls were hootin and hollerin throughout the day and night which was really cool 🦉 We also heard some turkeys our first night and the next morning.

Great campsite, great land surrounding and great host. Very quiet, peaceful place to get away. Would highly recommend.

Had such a fun time! Site was very private and away from all the hustle and bustle (couldn’t hear anything but nature). Host was attentive and brought us extra firewood :) property had well managed trails and our dogs enjoyed their off leash privileges. 10/10 would camp again!

This place was absolutely perfect! We had such a fun time camping, canoeing, and exploring the woods! The stars were gorgeous at night and we could hear the frogs and the barred owl calls. Couldn’t have asked for a better camping destination! We were able to drive right up to the camp site and had plenty of room to relax and explore.

We had a great time! The hosts have water (and wood if purchased) ready for campers when they arrive. Really nice, clean area to hangout and plenty of spots to set up tents. We appreciated the wood, water, & watercloset available.

We loved spending the weekend here! It was so peaceful, quiet, and private. It was easy to get to with clear instructions and signs leading you to the campsite. We loved using the canoe and fishing off the dock! Salem was a responsive, helpful, and kind host. I highly recommend staying here. We are hoping to come back in the summer!

The campsite was very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to stay comfortable. It felt private but was accessible to main roads and a quick drive to Uwharrie trail heads.

This place was perfect for a car camp. The site had plenty of space, it was clean, the water provided was useful and the seclusion was exactly what we were looking for. We usually go to a national forest to camp, this site has spoiled us now. We are definitely coming back. Thanks Salem.

Enjoy hiking on the extensive trails or fishing and canoeing in the pond. Crystal clear, large flowing creek gently winds through the property. Abundant wildlife including deer, turkey, opossum, raccoon, skunk - even the occasional bear, coyote, and wild boar have been caught on game cameras. Only 1 hour from Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro, yet feels like a world away. 30 minutes from the North Carolina Zoo and the Carolina Treetop Challenge at Rock Creek Park. Minutes from Historic Gold Hill, Tuckertown Reservoir, Uwharrie National Forest and Badin Lake. Tents only please; as the road to the campsite is narrow and. AWD or 4WD may be required during wet weather. Cars that are low to the ground are not recommended. We have table and 2 bench seats, fire pit, water, trash bin, toilet, a canoe and noodles to use in pond at the pond site. PLEASE NOTE: Due to insurance coverage, fireworks, firearms and ATV's of any kind ARE NOT permitted.
