1 night at Harmony hollow

Very pretty sure with a stream flowing at the bottom of the camping area. The upper site, Peace Park, is a bit hard to level but managed it. The showers and actual flush toilets were much appreciated.

Great property and upkeep by owners but the campsites are pretty close together and very close to the main road

Great quiet spot near the river. Ashley was very hospitable and had much knowledge of the area.

Nice area, the campsite was very pleasant and the sound of the creek was very nice to have as well. Ashley was very welcoming and a joy to talk with. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was the perfect weekend retreat. The place felt peaceful and silent—perfect for disconnecting and recharging. There’s a hill right next to the house where you can catch an amazing sunrise and sunset—the view of the Appalachian Mountains turning purple with the sunset light was beautiful. Mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee were my favorite—fresh air, a ton of birds singing, and total calm. At night, the sky was full of stars, perfect for stargazing. The house is really cozy and gives you that feeling of getting back to the basics and simple things of life. The Turkish oven was a fun and different experience for us, and the host, James, along with the people in the community, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back!

Owners make it easy to camp here at Harmony Farms. They helped me to solve a problem. I will provide this review and referrals based on that. I am grateful to them for the fresh brewed coffee and consider myself very fortunate to have been able to stay here. Horses live here and guided trail rides are a possibilty. Be humble, nice, prayerful, respectful and thankful and watch what happens. You'll be amazed, maybe like I was amazed at Harmony Farms.

This was such a cool spot! The cow was so nice and came up to greet us as soon as we arrived. The cabin is very cozy and has everything you need to cook a meal, including a small electric stovetop (although we ended up cooking with our skillet over the fire). The bed upstairs is incredibly comfortable and we got some of the best sleep we've had in a while. The weather was perfect when we were there, so we didn't need them, but there is a large space heater and window a/c unit if you're cold/hot. Beautiful property nestled in the hills, a really nice drive through winding mountain roads, and great scenery all around. Would love to come back sometime!

We stayed at Hilltop Cabin as our first stop on a week long road trip from Baltimore to Austin. It was so great to stay somewhere peaceful and beautiful after being in the car all day, and our pup could play and stretch her legs! We were even able to duck into Asheville for dinner when we arrived and for breakfast the next morning as we had never been! The bed was super comfy and the cabin had everything we needed to relax before getting back on the road. Our hosts were friendly and i’m sure would have been accommodating should we have needed anything, but the cabin was perfect and we were totally set as is! Our dog and the cow, Kashi, also started a beautiful friendship. Would love to come back one day :-) Thank you!

My wife and I had a great Valentine’s weekend away at the Hilltop Cabin. Beautiful views in multiple directions, right from the front porch. Mastering the wood burning stove for cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner made the experience even more enjoyable. You can always use the hot plate if you prefer… We had rain both days so we spent the whole weekend in the cabin. Felt like home. Comfortable recliner space to read a book upstairs or just sit and listen to the birds. James even went in before us and turned on the heater to warm the place for us. Never had a cold moment. Great spot! Couldn’t recommend more.

What you read doesn't describe the uniquness of the cabin, the scenic view or quietness of this location. This is a great time which I would encourage anyone to visit. They don't get much better than this. James is a wonderful gracious host!

Went on a solo camping trip and came across harmony farms and personally it was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend. lucky for me i had the whole campsite to myself due to the cold weather I had everything I hoped for a primitive experience. The land is beautiful there's lots to explore on the 70 acre trail and was also able to pet the horses they were super friendly. I couldn't ask for a better camping trip all thanks to Patricia.

We loved our stay at Raven Ridge!! The cabin was charming and cozy. The Turkish wood stove is such a lovely feature! There is an outhouse steps behind the cabin…it was very clean and well kept. Raven Ridge is adjacent to a wellness retreat which looked very intriguing and we plan to check out on another visit. The location was great….we drove back and forth from mars hill a few times for snow tubing and hiking the Appalachian Trail at Sam’s Gap…it was maybe 20 minutes from the cabin to exit 3, then we made it to Asheville from the cabin in about 30 minutes. The most surprising thing was how warm the cabin was considering it was in the 20s & 30s during our stay!! All from a space heater downstairs!! It shows how well the cabin is built as we have stayed in glamping cabins that are drafty and impossible to keep warm. The hosts were very responsive to messages and checked on us to make sure we settled in and had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying at Raven Ridge!!

Although the weather did not allow us to stay at the site, Patricia was a great host and quickly responsive to all our questions! We were still able to communicate effectively and get things sorted while we were down there! We hope to book another trip for better weather in order to get the full experience!

2 nights at Raven Ridge

This place was so wonderful! Super warm and cozy even in January snow! Lovely to spend a day exploring around the property (the cliffs are beautiful!) and come back to cook a delicious meal. This spot has everything to offer, excited to be back soon!

We loved camping here for new years! Perfect for our small group, loved seeing the horses and secluded but not remote! Will definitely be keeping in mind for our next trip to Tennessee!
