Had a great stay in our camper on top of the hill. The site had full hookups as advertised as well as a grill, fire pit, picnic table, and string lights that made for nice ambiance. The area was quiet and a had a good view. We met one of the farm dogs on our last morning and he was really sweet. There was some barking during the night, but without our dog reacting to it could barely be heard over the air conditioner. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.

We camped there our last night of a week long camping trip. All the staff was super nice and we even got a tour of some of the cabins, Mary has put so much work into this magical place! Our group had so much fun and even got to meet the adorable goats, horses, donkey, and pigs! Facilities are all very nice and clean. We loved the swings by the stream and the solar powered fairy lights at night!!

I loved this site! I wasn't there long while I was on a mini road trip but it was perfect for me. The driveway is steep and gravel. My car with 4wd handled it no problem, even with a small amount of snow on my way down. I loved seeing the cows and dogs and they made me feel less alone 🙂

This spot is perfect! The super nice hosts meet us at the gate and showed us up their quite steep driveway. If towing i would think you would need 4wd, our camper is 22 ft and we had no problems. The view is just gorgeous and the hot tub was ready to go when we got there, loved not having to wait for it to heat up! The site is almost level but no trouble getting everything setup properly. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I came here for our one year anniversary and we did not regret it! If you’re looking for something VERY out of the way this place is it, there is no one else near the site and it is deep into some gravel roads of the mountains. We loved the using the hot tub during the cold weather and the view from it was just as beautiful as advertised! We’re honored to be the first to stay here, and will be coming back. As the host states the half mile drive was is very steep and has acouple of serious turns but asking aslong as you have the right size camper and a 1/2 ton 4WD it’s not a big deal!

We loved our stay at Over the Hill! Beautiful property, very kind hosts, entertaining cows for our little girl to watch. The spot has a picnic table, string lights, a fire ring, a heated hose attachment, full hook up. It’s very peaceful. We highly recommend! However, we have a large 5th wheel and unfortunately had a hard time getting up the narrow, steep driveway. We ended up doing some damage to our camper coming up. The hosts were very kind about it all, and said they’ll help us get it back down when the time comes. Definitely communicate with the hosts if you have a camper over 30 ft or so. We’d also recommend arriving during daylight hours if possible to make the drive up a bit easier.

We have chickens, bees, vegetable gardens, and a small fruit orchard. We recently added a 1/2 mile trail, called Turkey Foot Trail, through the wooded area. The campground is somewhat secluded (some neighbors across the creek), but only 15 minutes from Franklin, NC and 15 minutes from Clayton, GA with plenty of shopping/restaurants. Once you are at the campground you won't want to leave the beauty of the creek! Strong Wifi is available at all sites. Network password will be provided before arrival. Property History: Coweeta Creek Campground WAS a 20 site, thriving, family/church oriented campground from the 1970's that was later sold, then neglected. My family purchased in 2022 and are are opened a few camping sites for a more family friendly, intimate setting. *Please send us a message if you are interested in renting out the entire property for family reunions, birthdays, or other events. We have several options for our guests at the farm, including a small zipline, farm activities, loop trail, massage services (20+yr licensed), spring trail, wine tastings, weekly outdoor movies (on request), and our petting area where you can interact with very friendly goats. Our 19 acres on Brushy Mountain is nestled away in the Ellicott Rock Wilderness Area of the Nantahala National Forest, the largest of NC's four National Forests with over 500,000 acres of pristine wilderness. The famous Iron Bridge over the headwaters of the Chattooga River is just a short drive away down Bull Pen Road. You will find some of the best trout fishing and hiking trails in all of North Carolina at your doorstep. This temperate rain forest is enjoyable in every season and is exceptional in its ecological diversity and abundance. If you are interested in hiking to beautiful waterfalls, fishing in native trout streams, bird watching or star gazing, this is the place for you! And if you need supplies from town, Cashiers is the closest and is about 25 minutes away and Highlands is about a 45 minute drive. Both have great restaurants and shops to check out. Our gated, gravel driveway is steep and a half mile long. You will need an all-wheel or 4 Wheel drive vehicle to get up the driveway without spinning. There is ample space to turn around to park, but due to the nature of our driveway we limit the length of RV's to no more than 20 feet. We are in our winter season offering only one campsite until March 2025 “Site 2 Knoll”~ come enjoy the river ranch all to yourselves! PLEASE NOTE, our rate is based on the number of vehicles in your group. The first vehicle is included in the nightly rate and admits 4 campers. WE CHARGE FOR ADDITIONAL CARS. The charge will be added to your booking once you select the number of vehicles at checkout. Please note that each additional car admits four campers. For EXAMPLE, 2 cars = 8 campers total. If you only have two cars but more than eight people, YOU MUST select the "Extra Person" Extra for each night they are camping. Please select these extras at checkout. If you have questions about this PLEASE message me prior to booking. Our 95-acre farm was once owned by the Davis family who predominantly raised dairy cattle. We now raise the wooly Mangalitsa pig and sell to the best chefs and restaurants. We sell our pork at the farm too! All of our campsites are next to running water except the two hilltop sites. Two porta-potties are on the farm and private porta-potties are available for rent. Groups of eight or more are required to rent a porta potty should you not bring your own toilet system with you. We do not allow the use of our small wooded areas as toilets. Please review the Extras options as we offer river lifts, firewood and dog stays; thank you! Quiet hours are from 10pm to 9am. Checking in before 5 pm is requested. Later times may be available with prior arrangements. Our farm is very dark and navigating at night is difficult. Contact Catherine directly so you can be checked in safely and accommodate your schedule. LIMITED CHECK-INS AFTER DARK. We are 1 mile off of I 40, 17 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 min. to Maggie Valley, 10 min to the Elk at Cataloochee, 25 min to Cataloochee ski area, 10 min to Lake Junaluska and 15 min to downtown Waynesville. Fishing privileges are actually written into property owners' deed on the purchase of land. Views that can bring a tear to a glass eye and relaxing sounds of the creek can be heard from anywhere on the property. Hundreds of Hiking trails in the area, many just a short distance from the property. Please be respectful of others' property and no trespassing signs. It’s a kinda bumpy mountain road to get there but it’s also like driving through an enchanted forest. The secluded location, peaceful and breathtaking views make this place a must-see adventure.

Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. Site 12 is up high on a hill, and Site 13 is open in the middle of the meadow.
