We had an amazing last-minute stay at Mary’s place. Our pups loved having the freedom to roam off leash, and it was so nice to relax by the tent and take in the fall scenery. The woodstove kept us cozy all night, and Mary was very kind and responsive throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

2 nights at Coyote Hollow Park

We had a delightful stay at campsite number two. While originally booked in campsite number one, Christine and her husband asked us if we would be interested in moving to site 2 and we are glad we did. It was a 24 square foot tent with a couch, all kitchen essentials, a fridge, lots of bedding, a trashcan, flashlights and a heater. Only thing that we were required to bring with the clothes and shoes. Everything else was either present or available to buy from the camp store. The store was filled with food items, ice creams, drinks bathrobe, spa packets, basically everything you would need on this getaway. Plus, they provide breakfast in the morning on the days of your stay, which is very filling and elaborate. In fact it was one of the highlights of our day to be having breakfast amidst such nice lush views. The stay also comes with a complementary night of using hot bathtubs, which is just a few steps away from the camp and is highly recommended. The walk behind the campsite into the forest is beautiful especially this time of the year as we could spot a lot of fall colors and leaves. In the morning, the camp is filled with chirps of the birds. The only hiccup during our stay was the incessant rain during night time and then some until the next afternoon. So next time we would take the rain insurance, but host fixed us with heater fuel amidst the heavy rain. It was really helpful. We enjoyed dinner just 20 min drive away in the town of town named Cooperstown.

3 nights at Christmas Tree Farm Hidden Delight

Our experience at The Christmas Tree Farm Hidden Delight was absolutely wonderful. Mary was a fantastic host. She was friendly and thorough in her communication, even recommending places to enjoy in the area. We arrived later in the day and were thrilled that she had started a fire in the woodstove inside the tent and had also started a campfire for us. So very thoughtful and a fabulous surprise. The site itself is incredibly private with amazing views. The firewood she provided was dry and plentiful, a bonus since it was a bit chilly for much of our visit. It was great to be able to have the dogs off leash too. We enjoyed our time immensely and highly recommend the site. Thank you, Mary!

Weekend Trip to Coyote Hollow Park

We spent Labor Day weekend at Coyote Hollow Park (Site 2) and I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how perfect it was. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a peaceful little world where every detail had been thoughtfully taken care of. First of all...the star gazing was unreal. No light pollution, just a sky full of stars that felt like it went on forever. We cooked our own meals under the open sky, enjoyed the fresh air, and completely unplugged. It was exactly what we needed. The soaking tubs were next-level relaxing....soaking under the stars with nothing but nature around you? Yes please. And then there are the owners… they are truly some of the sweetest, kindest people you will ever meet. You can tell how much love they’ve poured into this place. They made us feel so welcome and completely taken care of from start to finish. Important tip: You do not need to bring a thing. Seriously. They’ve thought of everything—towels, food, supplies—you name it. Just show up ready to relax and enjoy, and they handle the rest. Coyote Hollow is a hidden gem and Site 2 was everything we hoped for and more. We’re already dreaming about our next visit. Don’t hesitate book it! You’ll never want to leave.

Weekend Trip to Hemlock Cabin

We spent two nights at this magical little house, and I think it’s the first time I’ve truly missed a place after leaving. Everything was thoughtfully crafted — you can feel the love and talent of the people who built it with their own hands. From the smallest kitchen details to the balcony overlooking the creek, and the shower with a floor-to-ceiling window facing the forest — it’s all just perfect. Weekend Trip to Bison Island Ranch

Staying in the tipi was such a great experience. It is cozy inside and comfortable for two people in the bottom bunk! The tipi was pretty spacious and Susan provided some little goodies upon arrival. We were right on the pond that was lovely to swim in and jump off the dock. There was a fire pit to take advantage of and a grill too! The bison were on a different part of a farm, which was disappointing, but we still had some view of them. The stars were beautiful too! Overall it was a great stay with, hikes, farms and towns a drive away. As long as you have bug spray, we’d certainly recommend it.
