Dan found this special place back in 1996. We didn’t move on site until 1999 and still haven’t build our dream home. The years were full of raising our four daughters on this beautiful property. The girls had horses, enjoyed snowmobiles, four wheeling, ice skating, kayaking, sliding parties, camping, picking wild berries and playing in the woods. We had a Christmas tree farm and enjoyed sharing the property and horses with our customers. We now enjoy all this with our two grandsons. It seems only right to share what we have been so blessed to enjoy all these years with others. Learn more about this land: Park your RV or pitch your tent and take some time to relax. Take a walk through the woods, take your kayak out on Otter Creek starting at the base of our driveway or relax with a campfire. Visit Blazer or ring the humongous bell, and check out the wildlife. If you are lucky you might get a glimpse of Whiteface Mountain, which is the Olympic mountain of the East. Our property extends across the road to the top of Cold Spring Mountain. If you go towards Keeseville, Ausable Chasm is 5 minutes away, The Grand Canyon of the East. During Summer FREE LIVE MUSIC ON THE GREEN Depends which Town you're in ! We are pet friendly about a ten to 15 minute walk to your car and all that is left is you and nature. Campsite numbers available this year will be Site2 which is left, we are planning to OPEN second site which will be on the right side, Site1, when it is finished. In the middle of Summer, you can ask about it. Only 1 site is open, Site2, on the entire land at this time. This year we have changed a few things and we have added some changes hoping to improve every year and we hope you have a wonderful time here on our beautiful land that we are very blessed to share and enjoy, with you our Hipcamp, friends! We have it as a 10 to 15 minute Walk in depending on where you park, for vehicles with no 4x4. We are requiring 4x4 and some clearance to be able to drive up to the site. Wood is FREE off the land, we suggest bringing wood for the first camp fire especially if it has been raining. You can look for firewood on our land and we have it available where we Meet and Greet. Arnolds grocery, is small mom and pop store with 375 different kinds of beer, wood, and local art. Maplefields grocery store and Stewart's stores also has gas, grocery, wood, and both have restrooms. And Just to be extra safe when we meet and greet to show a group down to the river we will be staying at least 6 feet apart and not shaking hands be smart, be safe. We want you to be able to experience nature to it's fullest.

Mt Baker Tiny Cabin

This off-the-grid tiny house is nestled on a 23 acre parcel at the end of a quarter-mile dirt road. The property itself is secluded but is less than 2 miles from the heart of Saranac Lake's downtown. This property is bordered by the Saranac River, the backside of Baker Mountain and State Forest. The only other building on the property is our timberframe which we may or may not be at during the time of your visit. The property does have private trails up to the cliffs on the backside of Baker mtn however, the Saranac River is down a steep embankment so it does not make for a good place to launch a boat (several public boat launches nearby). The Mt Baker tiny house is a great basecamp for hiking the Saranac Lake 6-ers, paddling/boating along the Saranac Chain of lakes or Saranac River, Mountain Biking at Dewey, Pisgah or other nearby BETA trails. IMPORTANT DETAILS: This tiny cabin is completely off the grid: no electricity, heat or cooling. Queen sized bed - we provide the linens. The driveway is narrow - so nothing in tow. "Lindsey W. writes, "This is my new favorite spot. I had the BEST stay at Cory's tent amongst the pines. I couldn't have picked a better place to do some solo winter camping. The tent is easily accessible and is fully stocked with kitchen supplies, lanterns, and necessities. Between what I brought and what was already there, I was living quite luxuriously in the woods. The wood stove works beautifully. I stayed very warm in the tent (it was 80 degrees in there!) while the outside temps reached a low of -15 degrees. Beautiful location and excellent host. Cory made sure I had everything I needed. I already look forward to another stay here." William K writes, "The place is great. The wood stove kept the tent warm overnight. Also had plenty of firewood for 2 night weekend. Location is excellent all & the propane grill outside is a plus. Would stay again." Eric F. writes, "Cory's Camp in the Pines is awesome! My daughter and I stayed here for a few nights and loved it. The tent is great- clean, dry and large enough to walk around in freely. It's got distinct 'areas' which made it cozy- a wood stove area to sit by, a table with chairs to eat or play games at, a fully equipped kitchen area to cook at, and a sleeping area with two beds (full and twin) and some cots. Everything we needed was there, from cooking gear to utensils to cut and stacked firewood. The stove kept the interior really warm even when the tempts hit the low 30's outside. Outdoors had a nice fire pit, some chairs, a hammock, and total privacy. The outhouse was crazy clean, and even had a little LED light for those night visits. As others mentioned, you could faintly hear the highway but it quickly fades into the background and you don't think about it. Cory was an awesome, attentive, and responsive host. Finally, we were at trailheads in the High Peaks in 35 minutes. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything more- we loved it and we'll be back! This property is the fulfillment of a life-long dream. I first was introduced to this area thirty plus years ago when I visited a nearby hunting camp. This is a place where you step into the pages of a calendar and are surrounded by peace and tranquility, yet the beautiful village of Schroon Lake is only a handful of miles away if you want to visit the public beach or local businesses. It's also surrounded by thousands of acres of state land- in fact, you can walk out of this site right onto endless chunks of public land. While this camp is off-grid and a bit rustic, it offers you an opportunity to live the dream life and experience the Adirondacks to the fullest. The Pines Lakeside Canoe & Camping

Enjoy a secluded lakeside campsite with two points of water access. There are no other sites on this 13 acre property, so it's very private. Complimentary canoe and stand up paddle boards for your use. New York State hiking trails just one mile down the road, plus lots of other activities like rail biking and rafting a short drive away. The campsite is just 100 steps down a well-marked trail accessible from the parking spot. Pitch your tent on the elevated platform encircled in pine trees with a view of the lake. Next to the tent area you’ll find a solar shower, picnic table, Cleanwaste toilet in outhouse, fire pit and Adirondack chairs. The site comes equipped ample firewood, fire starters, and many kitchen items including plates, bowls, utensils, cups, frying pan, can opener, wine opener, salt and pepper, cooking tongs, dish wash basin, and dish soap. Fieldstone Farm is a family-owned 178 acre property with rolling meadows, vegetable and flower gardens, diverse forest land, miles of woodland roads, and meandering streams. The campsite is east facing. You can enjoy the morning sunshine on the deck while listening to the loons on nearby Lake Iroquois. You can stroll through the meadow paths, venture on a woodland hike, walk, run, or bike on/off the property. The site also boasts a wide open green space if you are interested in lawn games or inviting friends to join you. The 14X16 wall tent comfortably sleeps 4 with a double bed, twin daybed, and twin pull-out mattress. Please bring your own bedding and pillows. Kitchen supplies are provided for cooking, dining and cleaning. Gas grill with side burner and fire pit are provided for cooking. This area is so diverse in its offering. Lake Iroquois is 200 yards from the site with access to the beach and boat launch one mile down the road. Lake Champlain is 15 miles to the west from us with varied access to swimming, boating, and water sports. Bikers can enjoy dirt road rides, flow trails, single track, and endless paved roads in Hinesburg and near-by towns. Hikers can hit the hills nearby or further away. Camels Hump State Park and access to the Long Trail is just 15 miles away. Need a city fix? Burlington is also 15 miles away and offers shopping, dining, a lively waterfront, music, the arts and more. Don't want to go far away? Hinesburg village offers 6 restaurants, a brewery, music on the green, and a well stocked grocery store. We are excited to share this beautiful property with visitors. We are excited to share the experience of what camping in this historic region of Adirondack's is all about.Black Hole & Dunkley Falls campsite is located on an 80-acre old Adirondack farm. The Mill Creek runs along with this property, which features access to the scenic Dunkley Falls & The Black Hole — a cavernous geological anomaly. This famous swimming spot is a perfect place to test your nerve with a backflip off its 20 ft cliffs or just take a leisurely swim in the naturally formed glacier pool. Like to fish? The Mill Creek is also stocked annually with over 3000 w/ brown & rainbow trout. All of this is just a short walk from our property. Onsite: Canvas Wall Tent (16ft X 14ft ) and Outhouse. Mt Baker Tiny Cabin

This off-the-grid tiny house is nestled on a 23 acre parcel at the end of a quarter-mile dirt road. The property itself is secluded but is less than 2 miles from the heart of Saranac Lake's downtown. This property is bordered by the Saranac River, the backside of Baker Mountain and State Forest. The only other building on the property is our timberframe which we may or may not be at during the time of your visit. The property does have private trails up to the cliffs on the backside of Baker mtn however, the Saranac River is down a steep embankment so it does not make for a good place to launch a boat (several public boat launches nearby). The Mt Baker tiny house is a great basecamp for hiking the Saranac Lake 6-ers, paddling/boating along the Saranac Chain of lakes or Saranac River, Mountain Biking at Dewey, Pisgah or other nearby BETA trails. IMPORTANT DETAILS: This tiny cabin is completely off the grid: no electricity, heat or cooling. Queen sized bed - we provide the linens. The driveway is narrow - so nothing in tow. Drinking water is provided via jug and dispenser. There is a brand new outhouse (no flushable toilet) We have a designated spot for campfires (smores are a must) There is an older propane grill outside for guest use

The tent is easily accessible and is fully stocked with kitchen supplies, lanterns, and necessities. Between what I brought and what was already there, I was living quite luxuriously in the woods. The wood stove works beautifully. I stayed very warm in the tent (it was 80 degrees in there!) while the outside temps reached a low of -15 degrees. Beautiful location and excellent host. Cory made sure I had everything I needed. I already look forward to another stay here." William K writes, "The place is great. The wood stove kept the tent warm overnight. Also had plenty of firewood for 2 night weekend. Location is excellent all & the propane grill outside is a plus. Would stay again." Eric F. writes, "Cory's Camp in the Pines is awesome! My daughter and I stayed here for a few nights and loved it. The tent is great- clean, dry and large enough to walk around in freely. It's got distinct 'areas' which made it cozy- a wood stove area to sit by, a table with chairs to eat or play games at, a fully equipped kitchen area to cook at, and a sleeping area with two beds (full and twin) and some cots. Everything we needed was there, from cooking gear to utensils to cut and stacked firewood. The stove kept the interior really warm even when the tempts hit the low 30's outside. Outdoors had a nice fire pit, some chairs, a hammock, and total privacy. The outhouse was crazy clean, and even had a little LED light for those night visits. As others mentioned, you could faintly hear the highway but it quickly fades into the background and you don't think about it. Cory was an awesome, attentive, and responsive host. Finally, we were at trailheads in the High Peaks in 35 minutes. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything more- we loved it and we'll be back! This property is the fulfillment of a life-long dream. I first was introduced to this area thirty plus years ago when I visited a nearby hunting camp. This is a place where you step into the pages of a calendar and are surrounded by peace and tranquility, yet the beautiful village of Schroon Lake is only a handful of miles away if you want to visit the public beach or local businesses. Amazing location with panoramic views of the Vermont Green Mountain range, this property adjoins a public 9 hole golf course. Located on over 260 private and secluded acres, property also has a 2 acre pond for swimming, paddling or just relaxing. There are several miles of maintained hiking trails meandering throughout the forest, ranging from an easy walk, to hilly and somewhat challenging. Many varieties of tent locations or places to park an RV, pop up, or car. This is considered a "Primitive camp site". There is no shower, toilet or electric available at this time, but well water can be had from our residence, via a hose spigot on the side of our home. This is our 3rd year of hosting, and due to the overwhelming popularity of having an abundance of privacy, we will continue to be only hosting one party at a time. Which means you'll get the privilege of not having to share your surroundings with anyone else! Your own private camp ground! We are hoping this all works out and intend to continuously improve amenities, activities and overall experience.
