Your Quintessential New England Farm Getaway and, Outdoors Enthusiast's Paradise. Zichichi Family Farm Estate is located on 58 private acres in North Stonington CT. The property is in a very private and natural setting, yet very close to other amenities, including Foxwoods, Misquamicut Beach, Mystic Seaport, and Downtown Westerly.
As a family farm we produce a wide variety of items on our property. Depending on the season, these items may include lamb, pork, produce, eggs, syrup, honey, etc… They can be purchased in advance or when onsite (subject to availability), we always recommend letting us know in advance if you are interested in something in particular so we can do our best to accommodate as we do sell out of items from time to time.
The property features numerous hiking trails though fields and woods, a pond for swimming, boating, and excellent private fishing areas in the pond and brook; Fishing is catch and release only on the farm property. Barbless hooks are required (you can file them off, let us know we can help). Adults are fly rod only, Kids are fly or spinning rod. No is license required for the pond. The Brook requires an CT state fishing license and trout stamp to fish. Never fly fished... don't worry we can help. Check out addons below.

We live on a picturesque 82-acre farm in North Stonington, CT located near many serene natural areas. Pachaug State Forest, Ell Pond Preserve, and the Westerly, RI beaches are all within a 20 minute drive from us. Our land is secluded and rural, offering a respite from the hubbub of city life. We have a spring-fed pond on-site and the majority of our land is heavily forested. With very low light pollution, the night sky on our farm is breathtaking.

This property has been in my family for three generations. It is classic Connecticut with hills and streams and stone walls.
The octagon is a private 122 ft.² that is electrified and heated. It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. There is a fire pit and outdoor dining area next to the octagon. We also have a propane outdoor grill and propane two burner camp stove. Out house with composting toilet close to octagon is heated. A great place to rejuvenate in the forest! Dogs welcome.

1 night at Water Forest Retreat
I had an incredible time at this glamping treehouse—it was truly a special experience. The host clearly thought of everything and provided an amazing, well-planned stay from start to finish. I already can’t wait to come back in the summer.
That said, this was also an excellent winter camping trip. The treehouse stayed toasty warm all night, even with outside temperatures dropping into the low 20s and strong winds. We woke up to an unexpected 3–4 inches of snow, made a fire, and cooked chocolate chip pancakes with hot coffee—it was absolutely incredible.
The hosts are great people, the experience was unforgettable, and I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something unique and memorable.

2 nights at Water Forest Retreat
My husband and I loved staying at Treehouse!! If you are looking for a magical place in nature, look no further! The Treehouse is a very private and tranquil spot in the woods that is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. The hammock was by far our favorite spot to relax in and gaze up to the sky. We had perfect weather for hiking and the trails are well marked and maintained. We even got to see a deer while out on the trails! Nighttime is meant for fires and the fire pit area with tiki torches is beautiful and relaxing. We came back home recharged and refreshed. Bert and Nancy are incredible hosts with the most positive energy! They thought of every little detail and Bert was very attentive just in case we needed anything, but not intrusive. I am pretty sure we over packed lol Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Amazing place with super nice and responsive hosts. Perfect location—five minutes from Foxwoods; 20 from Mystic; 10 from 95 as a main corridor anywhere in NE. Quiet, private, beautifully maintained property and fresh farm eggs delivered to your spot. We are experienced HipCampers, and this is definitely in the top three of places we’ve stayed. We will be back!

Loved this site! The wooden platform kept our tent off the ground and nice and dry. Check-in instructions were 100% clear and easy.
The pond is super relaxing. You're only minutes away from Mohegan and Foxwoods to wine and dine.
Just ensure you have 4WD... There's two tree stumps to dodge if your vehicle has low clearance but it's easy to maneuver once you see them the first time. My Subaru Impreza hatchback is quite low... Anything taller than that you'll be a-OK.
Would come back if welcomed!

Probably one of the most secluded and amazing spots we’ve found in the NE. Love the spot; love the privacy and stars. Love the proximity to Mystic and the coast. Cant say enough great things about this sport for boondockers and off the grid types.

So far still the best hip camp ive ever went to.View was superb,entering the place was a little challenging but we love it,feels like a little adventure.Our campervan is front wheel dive but had no problem maneuvering the terrain,all you need is good ability and common sense driving.We love the deck and the fire pit.The reflection of the trees on the water gives us a nice view,importantly place was so serene and very private.We highly recommend this hip camp place.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Forested Tent Site and loved it! We loved the privacy and secluded area surrounded by the forest. While the outhouse was around 80-100 yards away, it was very convenient and clean. The stars were amazing with no light pollution. It is a great place to get get away from the hustle and bustle of other campsites and life in general. We would definitely go back!
