This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. We are nestled on a private road on top of a hill backed up to 2100 acres of New York Gaundry Hill State Forest. There's waterways with active Beaver ponds between our properties. We do have bear and a mountain lion up here. We are 420 friendly! Sites are on top of the hill in a very secluded spot with a small campfire. We offer organic vegetables from the garden and work almost everyday in our blacksmith/woodworking shop. For a nice experience for adventurous families, you are welcome to accompany us on our herding of our goats/milking, collect eggs for your own breakfast. We offer a unique place to unwind. Conveniently located near Watkins Glenn, Corning, Bath, and Penn Yan. Perfect get away and an inexpensive alternative to the hotels when you go to the races, lakes, wine tours, museums or many other great attractions around our area. There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. The campsite itself was wonderful: spacious, private, and stocked with plenty of firewood, which made our evening around the fire super easy and relaxing. We spent 2 nights and had a nice stay. It was cooler weather so not many people camping, nice and quiet. Rus who manages the campground was awesome. Friendly, helpful, fun guy. Some feedback for the Hipcamp listing, all we got was an address which lead us to a cabin a mile or so away from the actual site. We had to knock on someone’s door to get help figuring out where to go. I had messaged the host early in the day to let them know when we’d be arriving. No response.

Tegan's place is remote but also near lots to do. We enjoyed the quietness of the area with only the sound of coyotes in the distance. On a cloudless night the stargazing is great. Getting our trailer up the somewhat steep driveway and finding a levelish area was a challenge but we managed.

A very nice camp site (#2). This is located down a rural road that is a little rough. The area was quiet. Nathan stopped in after we got set up and talked to us about some local attractions, which, unfortunately, we were not able to visit. There definitely will be a next time. Steve's property was beautiful! We were graciously greeted by Lucy and Steve's wife(I'm so sorry to be blanking on her name, she was very welcoming as well!). Our stay was shorter than we would've liked, but following a nice dirt path to get to our site, we came to a nice cleared out space, with plenty of firewood with some covered just in case of rain. I had my wife and 2 year old with me, and it was so nice to sit by the fire, with absolutely ZERO light pollution to see the stars, and nothing but the sounds of owls and other wildlife in the area. We're already looking forward to booking another trip sometime next year!

I checked in at the main office, took the offer for their (permanent? sleeps 4-6) tent on the property, and the host even kindly helped jump start my car on my last morning as it had had some battery issues recently. Wifi available but spotty far away from the main office, I didn't have a chance to check out the bath facilities.

This was our second time camping at Ken's (this time with friends and their baby) and it was just as beautiful as we remembered it! Coming later in the season from our first visit meant more rain and fewer campers on the property, which was autumnally idyllic with all of the changing colors on the surrounding trees. It was a wonderful treat as ever to have those waterfalls as our shower throughout our stay. Already looking forward to our next trip out!

A fire pit area with benches and lots of level space to pitch tents. Our close to nature spot offers open level lawn, rolling forest and Sugar Creek passing through. Property is lined with Blue Bird houses along with an Owl House, Bat House and a Fox Den.(Not sure what's been occupied so far.) We are building a nature preserve with song birds singing, frogs crooking and deer passing though the area. The road features some beautiful homes and ask guests to show courtesy and to be a good neighbor. Please understand that our property is in the process of removing the dying Ash Trees (Emerald Ash Borer is a problem) and ask for campers to set up near open area/driveway and not the site in the middle of the woods. However, there are dump stations close by: Wilkins RV, Bath NY - 13.9 miles Pilot Travel Center , Kanona, NY - 12.7 miles. I am centrally located to many of the Finger Lakes along with several villages that still have been able to hold onto their old-time charm, like Pen Yann, Naples, and Hammondsport. Some of the nearby larger towns are Canandaigua, Corning and Watkins Glen. Any direction that you travel you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views and hiking, amazing Farm-to-Table Eateries, our famous Finger Lake wineries, breweries, distilleries, farm fresh produce, and, the many stores and products produced by our large Mennonite and Amish communities.
