It is a perfect place for bird watching, seeing other wildlife, and stargazing. Please be aware that you will find ticks, mosquitoes, and poison ivy throughout the woods. We are actively using regenerative approaches to manage these issues, but they are an unfortunate part of nature and we ask you to use caution. We are located a few minutes away from the beautiful and historic Medina village, along the Erie canal, where you will find several cute shops, restaurants and bars. While staying on our property, you will be interacting with Stephen and Allison for your immediate needs. During the warm months, we spend a lot of time outside with our two little boys in the yard area immediately surrounding our house. You may also be visited by the school-aged neighborhood boys who won't cause any trouble but do like to chat! We provide four chairs, a fire ring, and firewood; there is no dedicated toilet, but there may be limited access to the bathroom in our house for a shower if we are at home and available. Please be aware, on the opposite side of the farm fields are other residential backyards.

The vintage camper is located behind our barn in the backyard. We consider it mostly private. We have quiet neighbors and undeveloped acreage behind our property. There are hiking trails steps from the camper as well as the Farash Center for Observational Astronomy. This is an eco-friendly camper, and we spared no expense in the renovation. It's fully hooked up with hot water, electricity, and wifi. The back bedroom mattresses and kitchen benches are made from organic and non-toxic materials. The kitchen bench and table transform into an additional sleeping space for one adult or 2 small kids. There is a top-of-the-line OGO composting toilet. Research it online so you know all about it. The camper has a wet bath shower with hot water. You will likely see us working in the gardens on weekends and occasionally in the evenings after work. We love to share and will offer you fresh garden veggies and flowers when they're in abundance...which is often. You will experience starry nights and birdsong mornings. It's truly an incredible space. Feel free to have a bonfire in the backyard pit or use the portable fire pit outside the camper. We'll have plenty of wood for you. There is so much to do in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, and we have a ton of suggestions for you. Just ask, and we're happy to share, based on your preferences.

We are located midway between the Fingerlakes & Lake Ontario in Lyons NY. We have a working dairy farm; grain farm and maple sugar bush. Our farm is on the banks of the Erie Canal. We have approximately 60 dairy cows plus young stock. We raise all our own grains and forages for the dairy 160 acres corn and 70 acres hay plus 120 acres of soybeans. There are various different parks within 25 miles. Waterloo Premium Mall is 10 minutes away.

Relax and enjoy a bit of rural life at our campsite overlooking farm fields and wooded hillsides. Our backyard is narrow, but long, so the campsite is approximately 100 yards away from the house, giving the guest privacy and a sense of solitude. The property enjoys plenty of sunshine all day long and beautiful sky views of the sunset and stars. We are located approximately 40 minutes away from Letchworth State Park, 15 minutes away from Six Flags Darien Lake Theme Park, and 20 minutes away from Batavia and Warsaw. Just a few minutes down the road in the village of Attica is a large park with a walking path, playground, splash park, dog park, basketball court, and shelters. The village also has three gas stations, a Tops grocery store, and several restaurants ranging from Burger King to the local golf course; feel free to ask us for other bar and restaurant suggestions! While staying on our property, you will be interacting with Stephen and Allison for your immediate needs. During the warm months, we spend a lot of time outside with our two little boys in the yard area immediately surrounding our house. You may also be visited by the school-aged neighborhood boys who won't cause any trouble but do like to chat! We provide four chairs, a fire ring, and firewood; there is no dedicated toilet, but there may be limited access to the bathroom in our house for a shower if we are at home and available. Please be aware, on the opposite side of the farm fields are other residential backyards.

Absolutely amazing view to wake up to! It was easy to access behind his house. The firewood bundles were the among the most dry I've received all season. It made for setting up the fastest fire :) can't wait to come back and spend more time up in the area. Growing up on a farm, some gust of winds carried a familiar scent my way. 😂

We enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Pastures, Amy and Roy are so kind and welcoming! And generous! So nice having hot coffee and muffins to wake up to, and when I asked to buy eggs they wouldn’t let me pay for them. Thank you Amy & Roy, we’re so happy to have met you! Site is grassy, outhouse is clean (nice, soft TP☺️), wood burned wonderfully, and the farm scenery is beautiful. Just know that if you like to sleep in, the roosters may not let you. It wasn’t a problem for us because our dogs wake us up about the same time anyway. Highly recommend!!

From the driveway to the creek you’re surrounded by beauty in every direction you look. The cabin is clean, cozy, and the perfect place to lay your head after a long day exploring and relaxing in the creek. David and Mary are some of the most kind, caring, genuine, salt of the earth people you will ever meet. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. You couldn’t ask for a nicer property or better first class hospitality. The conversations with David and Mary were like I was talking with some old friends I hadn’t seen in a while even though we’d just met. There’s no doubt I’ll be back to this hidden gem.
