Creekside now has electric ceiling lights, hot plate, mini fridge, etc. With a king bed (or two twins) and a bunk bed set, the cabin can sleep 4, with room for extra cots if needed. The gazebo has an outlet as well. Please provide your own linens, cooking utensils, dishes, and other camping wear. Cabin can be heated with a woodstove. As of Spring 2026 our cabin is now fully insulated, with tile flooring. Warmer in in cold weather, and cooler during the summer.
Angelica NY is just a few miles up the road, where you will find cute antique shops, dollar general, post office, gas etc.
We love our little slice of private water side camping here in Angelica and hope you will take care of it like it was yours. Please no carving of names or dates in any structure, do not cut or chop down any living tree or vegetation. Our property has a lot of walnut trees- watch for falling nuts come late summer and fall! The feeling of peace is about 1 mile off the road. Pulling into Apple Cove you'll see we've cleared areas for tents and small van style RVs. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. Jennifer’s place was lovely and peaceful. Staying in the Gumdrop Junction a-frame was cute and private. There are two other A-frames nearby but you can’t hear anything. It’s a very natural site, no running water or WiFi etc (which is stated in the description), but it is well- equipped with a cooking station with gas burners, cooking implements and pots/pans/teapot. Bottled water is provided. Porta potties were maintained but older and there were some floor and ceiling damage.
Mowed paths help you move between parking, cooking/trash/bathrooms and meditation garden to the A-frame. There is a wagon to move belongings and firewood.
Jennifer gave lots of details and was quick to reply to messages, tho our phone service was spotty. We saw a number of Amish families pass by on the horse carts, and in neighboring Village of Angelica. Filled with cute antique shops but sadly no lunch place. Coffee can be had at one of the antique shops if pressed. Otherwise the nearest restaurants are 12-30 minutes away. Come prepared!

Nathan’s land was a beautiful spot for a camping weekend! The property was clean & as expected. However, the state forest is directly behind the camp site & did not expect there to be squirrel hunters so close! This is not at all Nathan’s fault, just something to note as we didn’t know squirrel hunting started in September!

Such a beautiful secluded spot. Easy to get and out of in my Ford Fusion and tons of great spots to pitch a tent. Fire pit and small cooking fire are provided as well as a brick pizza oven that we got a ton of use out of. The seclusion is great for off leash pups, although bringing anxiety meds may be a good idea if you have anxious pets as there was some nearby gun fire (hunting season). We didn’t see any other people during our 3 night stay, besides the cars passing on the nearby road, which is almost impossible to see from the site with the heavy trees. The pergola was a great addition during the rain and the site didn’t get too muddy. Fire wood on site was an absolute life saver! Perfect spot for some time away from the hustle and bustle.

This property is beautiful! It’s a little bit hard to find the entrance from the road because it is not marked well, but there is a street number sign on the road.
It is very easy to get around inside and it has some nice camp spots and a new, clean bath & shower. We had a great walk around all the trails with our dogs until a big rainstorm came in. Lol
Definitely recommend. We would love to come back if we come back this way again.

Emily’s place was awesome! It was quiet, beautifully maintained and scenic with a corn field growing across the gravel road. The lean-to was brilliant! So enjoyed sitting and gazing out at the farm. The outhouse was clean and so well laid out. Easy entrance to Letchworth Park. Truly a stellar base camp! Highly recommend!

Every time we come to Western NY we stay here.
Close to Buffalo and nearest town of East Aurora is only a few minutes away with a great main street with wonderful shops and places to eat. Also only 1 hour from Letchworth State Park
Only a few campsites that are very well maintained with spotless bathrooms/showers. Beautiful and quiet.
Neil is a fantastic host and even helped us with soem issues we had with our trailer.

Hillside is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are well maintained with plenty of space to run and play. It has SO many little "extras" to make it "homey" that my family was wishing we had booked our stay for more than just a "weekend getaway". Leah and Dustin were very easily reached, and made check in/out so easy. Everything about this site is so thoughtfully planned out, it is the perfect place to enjoy time in nature.
