(i.e. Kingtown Beach Road) In the 1970s it was a marina developed by the Fulton family, with 4 small tourist cabins on the hillside above the water. Our OFF GRID cabin has a queen-sized bed, propane lights, and wood stove. The campsite has a wonderful fire pit and fully stocked outhouse. The horse stable is a short walk away, with easy access to running drinkable water.

We have two cozy cabins available. Each one room cabin can accommodate up to four guests. Inside you will find a set of bunk beds, a fold out futon, a dresser and a corner table. Linens for the beds and towels are also provided. We rent the cabins separately or together as a package. Each large cabin site is equipped with a fire ring for hot dog roasting and s'more making! Fire wood is available for purchase. There is also a propane camp stove at each cabin and a percolator coffee pot. An 8 foot picnic table and two out door chairs with a small table on the porch are also included, perfect for that morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. Thanks for having us!! I must say your cabin was perfect! Secluded and no neighbors, much room for the dogs to run on your private, well maintained property!
The cabin was extremelyclean and spacious. The wifi worked great and the big TV came in handy for the rainy day. We couldn't have asked for a cozier place to stay. We have paid more in the past for much less in other states. We can't wait to be back and enjoy the summer swims at the natural pool nearby. Thankyou for being an awesome host!! -Nick and Jessi

Weekend Trip to The Spotted Sandpiper
Spent 3 nights in Glamp 1 in October of 2025. It was 40s at night and rained 2 of the nights, but we stayed warm with the heater (and an electric blanket we brought)! It was dry inside the tent despite the rain. Area is beautiful. Due to weather, didn't spend any time on the lake, but did make use of the shower areas, which worked well - hot water and shower/bathroom walkable from Glamp 1. Kate answered all questions before and during the stay. Shampoo/conditioner and towels provided. Great affordable glamping experience!!

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The land was beautiful. The propane lights and wood stove created a charming ambiance. The location was private but not too far from hiking spots and great restaurants. The host was friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.

It was such a treat to stay with Nicole and Jason's quaint cabin! Every detail was charming and incredibly thoughtful and considerate to our needs. We arrived later the normal check in time and were met at the road as the sun was setting to guide us to the cabin, which was a bit removed from the road, but no issue for our compact car given the dry weather. The cabin, despite the crisp October weather, was cozy and warm, with a electricity and a heater we didn't need to use. There was a beautiful fire pit, coffee and cute wheel-thrown mugs, as well as extra blankets, water, and anything else we might have needed to be comfortable (three adults and an 10-month old, who loved the nearby pond, big bull frogs, and beautifully maintained space to explore). We alerted Nicole ahead of time that we would have an extra guest staying with us, and they even put up an additional tent, though a collapsible cot fit well enough inside the cabin. This stay was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to return when we are next in the area. Thank you!

We loved glamping at Spotted Sandpiper! We had all of the necessities and more at our tent site. You can’t beat the view of Lake Cayuga—we loved going down to the dock for sunset every night. It’s also very close to Taughannock State Park and a short drive from Ithaca.

My wife and I loved the land and the cabin. The host was amazingly hospitable and gave us a tour alongside giving us suggestions on the surrounding areas. The free firewood was a nice touch too! If you want quiet while still being close to something to do this is the place! But if you want quiet with nothing to do, this is also the place. My wife also loved the horses, which you can interact with. We will definitely be recommending this to others!

I loved tent camping at the spotted sandpiper. The tent was comfortable and had everything we needed. I especially loved they had so many things we could use on the water…kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, floats, and the lake was beautiful! I would def stay here again.

The glamping tents were beautiful, well stocked and way beyond what I was expecting. Fresh towels, a day bed with trundle, TV, fridge, the works. Wonderful amenities, especially for the price! Easy and beautiful lake access, and access to kayaks and canoe. Check-in and check out was really simple, and directions clear. Welcoming, friendly, beautiful and peaceful.

I love everything about this place! This was my third visit, and it has truly become my home away from home. I’ve been there in the fall, spring, and summer, and I'm always amazed at how quiet it is despite the expansive property. Jordan, the owner, goes above and beyond to help us with any last-minute issues or requests. Sam is also quick to assist with anything we need. I love all things rustic, so this place is perfect for me! I'm looking forward to coming back in the fall and winter this year. My family absolutely adores this hidden gem!

Hemlock Hollow was the perfect place to get away for a camping trip. We rented out both cabins for our family and had such a wonderful time!
Being right on the creek was such a treat for all the kids.
Having access to running water and a nice hot shower was absolutely amazing.
The cabins were stocked with extra bedding as well as towels, coffee cups and a percolator. It was also fabulous to have access to wood right there at the cabins.
Angie was super attentive and helpful. We unfortunately had some rain but Angie was on top of it and asked if we needed anything. Such a wonderful host and I hope we can come back soon!

Where to go
Seneca Lake
The largest of the Finger Lakes has forest hiking trails, patchwork vineyards, and farm-to-table dining experiences right at its fingertips. Once you've gone wine hopping along the largest of the Finger Lakes wine trails, marveled at the waterfalls in Watkins Glen State Park, and enjoyed boating around Sampson State Park, check into a state park campground or book an RV park around Seneca Falls or Geneva.
Cayuga Lake
An 87-mile scenic byway loops around Cayuga Lake, affording panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding wine country. At the southern tip, Ithaca is the gateway to Buttermilk Falls State Park and Taughannock Falls State Park, while the nearby Finger Lakes National Forest is the ideal spot for a backcountry camping experience—dispersed camping is permitted throughout.
Western Lakes
West of Seneca Lake, there are plenty of ways to get on the water at Keuka, Canandaigua, and Honeoye lakes. Camp amid the vineyards at Keuka Lake State Park, check into an RV resort at Naples or Hammondsport, or escape the crowds at the Honeoye Lake boat launch. Further west, Letchworth State Park is home to the "Grand Canyon of the East," where its waterfalls and forests are most magnificent during fall foliage season.
Eastern Lakes
Syracuse is the entry point to Finger Lakes' eastern corner, where you'll find Owasco, Skaneateles, and Otisco lakes. Swimming and water skiing are popular pastimes at Owasco Lake, and there's a great campground and swimming pool at Fillmore Glen State Park. If you’re seeking peace and quiet, neighboring Skaneateles is a tranquil spot for boating.
