There are snowmobile trail heads 5 miles from our location. Be in the country yet just 5 minutes from 4 local wineries and 10 minutes from dining/shopping. We have kept the farm house feel with plenty of room for a family. This is a single occupancy listing. Your party will be the only guests. We do have a separate living space in our barn so only parking is shared. Originally 100 acres was purchased by the Deering family back in the 1800's from the Holland Land company. Then sometime near 1900 the farm was split between two brothers, each receiving 50 acres. The home was originally built in 1903 and is currently updated and remodeled for today’s codes and standards. 47 acres of accessible woods and pasture remain for hiking and at the top of the property a breath-taking view across Lake Erie into Ontario Canada.

Mud room makes it easy to shed and store boots and jackets. Spring time activities includes “March maple syrup madness” and exploring the Amish communities of Chautauqua county. For summertime it is just minutes to the Lake Erie shoreline and Dunkirk harbor for aquatic activities. In the Fall you cannot beat the canopy of colors. There are 4 wonderful wineries within 5 miles of your door, bring a bottle home and enjoy it by an outdoor campfire, or just sit on the patio and look up at the night sky. In the morning you can make your coffee by the cup, or carafe then sit on the patio and watch the sunrise. Major department and food stores are just minutes away. Come stay for a day and you will end up wanting to stay for more, a minimum 3 day 2 night stay is recommended.

*Important note: Lake Rd is busy and there will be road noise that dies down after 11pm. There is a historic and active railroad line behind the cabin and you will hear the train pass through the day and night. Some people have found it cool or relaxing but others have not.
Nestled on its own 4-acre parcel within our family's 12-acre plot, this cozy retreat offers a private driveway and setting for your getaway.

For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.
While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours.

We had an amazing stay at Angie’s Country Cabins B&B, truly a hidden gem. Angie is an incredible host who goes above and beyond, with attention to every little detail that makes the experience feel special. The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect romantic getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The breakfast was phenomenal, honestly one of the highlights of our stay.
We only wish we had more time there and will definitely be coming back.
For food nearby, Whiskey Hill Saloon was a 5 star dinner spot with a great atmosphere and delicious food. We also stopped by Ron’s Treasure, which was such a cool experience full of amazing antiques and history, and the owner is a genuinely sweet guy.
If you don’t mind a short drive, The Nana Peruvian Kitchen is absolutely worth it, some of the best Peruvian food we have had.
Highly recommend this whole experience to anyone looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy a peaceful romantic getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This trip was absolutely amazing. Brian is an attentive and friendly host with the utmost care for hosting people. The cabin was well-equipped and so incredibly cozy. We love the location, close enough to Tim Horton’s for us to grab coffee but on property that feels secluded and perfectly quiet and peaceful. For it being winter, we were lucky to have had the most incredible weather for February, giving us the opportunity to walk through the woods, explore and enjoy how beautiful the woods are with the snow. We will absolutely be back in other seasons, there was still so much for us to do and see in the area! Thank you, Brian for everything!

I come here with my partner each Christmas and we listen to the ever growing record collection while we listen to the cracking wood in the Woodstock. There's a propane cook top for coffee and tea as well as frying pans and pots. The bed is so comfortable. Bring a book if you like. The host is amazing and makes sure you have anything you need as they live just down the way.

My partner and I loved this cute cabin , right next to Lake Erie! It’s a great size, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed for the start of our cross country trip back home , including a buddy heater for the cold night. Easy check in. Beautiful property. I highly recommend this glamping experience to anyone. My friend and I split the Waggin Tails covered wagon and were blown away at how roomy and comfortable it was. The wood and easy start kindling that's provided was a lovely bonus. The coffee shop uses the most delicious beans. I made sure I bought a bag to bring home so my husband could taste them. I enjoyed myself so much that I bought a gift card as a Christmas gift for a family member so they can come experience this campground with their family.

Our little family stayed in one of the tents this past weekend and upon our arrival we found a spacious tent with all the amenities for an outside gathering, outdoor cooking, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a separate game room.
We were so impressed with the cleanliness, aesthetics, and personal touches that were left by the owners.

Weekend Trip to Lake Of The Woods Cabin Camp HST
Absolutely amazing! Above and beyond! Brian our host was wonderful! Always available. The details inside and outside of the cabin were spectacular. The mowed path was an extra bonus, the beautiful art work on the path, the super comfortable bed, the sweet arrival goodies bag and cleanliness. I cannot wait to return!!
