I hope you visit CHSS! I am only 12 minutes from Walton town center and Molto Molto, the local coffee shop and 25 min from Delhi where there are several great brunch spots! From May-October nearby Stony Creek Farm hosts Pizza Nights on Saturdays!
Enter the driveway off of a quiet country road, and be welcomed by our 13ft Bell Tent surrounded by tall maple, pine, birch and beech trees! Relax in the hammock and Adirondack chairs! It’s like a hug from nature! With town only minutes away, you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere for a peaceful mountain retreat. Pepacton Reservoir is only a 30 min drive away for the fishing and boating enthusiasts and there are many access points to the Delaware River and its tributaries. Local hiking trails abound and a nature conservancy viewing area is only a few minutes away. Hunters, during the season of course, deer and turkey have been sighted in the adjacent field and eagles soar above! I am in a small cabin on the landing above if needed, and you’ll have all the privacy you desire! Cook on your camping stove and eat under the stars! I just bought the property so your feedback during and after your stay would be greatly appreciated! Local eggs, bacon, pork, beef from nearby Stony Creek Farm can be purchased, ordered and delivered to you upon arrival for a delicious farm fresh breakfast for you to cook! If you stay on a Wednesday, only a 20 minute drive away is Delhi’s Farmers Market and on Sunday, nearby Franklin also has a cute market as well! The bell tent is perfect and the view just amazing! Leslee and Steve really great hosts! They truly go above and beyond - gave us firewood, s’mores fixings, fresh bedding. We’re already planning to return. :)

Weekend Trip to Back o' the Woods
We were the first guests to stay in this wonderful place! It was very special: welcoming, clean and cozy. The bed is incredibly comfortable, there is a fully stocked kitchen, grill, place to make a fire and firewood, and compost bathroom.
The sunset and sunrise were beautiful. The stars amazing. The hosts are a cute welcoming couple with the cutest puppy. Definitely recommend!!!! 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
