I hope you visit CHSS! I am only 12 minutes from Walton town center and Molto Molto, the local coffee shop and 25 min from Delhi where there are several great brunch spots! From May-October nearby Stony Creek Farm hosts Pizza Nights on Saturdays! Enter the driveway off of a quiet country road, and be welcomed by our 13ft Bell Tent surrounded by tall maple, pine, birch and beech trees! Relax in the hammock and Adirondack chairs! It’s like a hug from nature! With town only minutes away, you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere for a peaceful mountain retreat. Pepacton Reservoir is only a 30 min drive away for the fishing and boating enthusiasts and there are many access points to the Delaware River and its tributaries. Local hiking trails abound and a nature conservancy viewing area is only a few minutes away. Hunters, during the season of course, deer and turkey have been sighted in the adjacent field and eagles soar above! I am in a small cabin on the landing above if needed, and you’ll have all the privacy you desire! Cook on your camping stove and eat under the stars! I just bought the property so your feedback during and after your stay would be greatly appreciated! Local eggs, bacon, pork, beef from nearby Stony Creek Farm can be purchased, ordered and delivered to you upon arrival for a delicious farm fresh breakfast for you to cook! If you stay on a Wednesday, only a 20 minute drive away is Delhi’s Farmers Market and on Sunday, nearby Franklin also has a cute market as well! This is a safe place for all BIPOC and LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 folks to rest and relax! Contact me for more details!

This is truly the place to sit back and relax! Surrounded by Maple, Ash, Birch, Poplar and Hemlock, all there to hug you as you take the time to recharge and reconnect to nature! The site is large enough for a group and up to 15' long RV, camper or trailer! Easy access in and out! Fire pit, propane stove, potable water and charging station, for those who still need to be connected to the grid. WiFi available upon request. Extra add ons of local farm goodies from Stony Creek Farmstead! Order on their website and it will be picked up and ready upon arrival! https://www.stonycreekfarmstead.com/home/eat Located only 8 minutes from the quaint town of Walton, 30 minutes from Delhi, Oneonta and only 15 minutes from Hamden. Festivals abound in the summer months including the Delaware county fair! Don’t feel like making your own coffee or breakfast, head down the mountain to town to Molto Molto for their delicious eats and baked treats, made fresh every day! I am also available for outdoor wilderness skills workshops, plant hikes and fire building lessons for an additional fee of 20$/person. This truly is a special place. Relax in the hammock under the Maple trees, and enjoy the sights and sounds around you and stargaze at night in front of the fire pit. The site has a cleared view of the sky! Feel free to walk around the property or take a stroll down the country roads.

Enjoyed staying at Daria's place. Tent was cute , had everything we needed. Daria was great keeping in touch with directions and anything we needed. Beautiful area, found lots to do.

Such a peaceful and easeful stay set with great intention for community care . I left feeling both cared for and uplifted. It was my first glamping / camping solo experience. Beautiful view and everything is set up and ready for you. All that’s left for you to do is enjoy and surrender. D is a phenom host who knows the power of nature and how healing it is to be with it !!!

Comfy Cute Place to Stay!

Daria’s place is lovely! It’s easy to find, beautifully designed, and very quiet. It has a beautiful view of the sunset through the trees. The bed is super comfy, there’s heat as needed, it rained while I slept and I was completely dry and felt like I was inside a sound machine. Daria is a very kind and attentive host who also gave me plenty of space. The tent is not far from her cabin while being set up to be completely private. It’s also pretty close to town and she has lots of recommendations if you want food, a hike, a farm visit, or other adventures. Great and comfortable stay- great price. I look forward to coming back!
