There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt. It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. Weekend Trip to The Nest - Creekfront Cabin In ANF

An absolute gem of a site. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Was already warmed up for us upon arrival on a snowy evening and held heat well throughout our weekend. Ben gave us a great hiking recommendation that we took advantage of and it was just what we were looking for. Enjoyed our evenings by the campfire and morning coffee on the steps by the river. We loved that this cabin was both small/rustic/affordable and still outfitted with all the big amenities. The heat, bathroom, TV, and cooking appliances were all fantastic, the outdoor area was spacious and the view down the creek from it lined up perfectly with the sunset! Weekend Trip to Bison Trace Luxury Camping

Easy check in. Beautiful property. I highly recommend this glamping experience to anyone. My friend and I split the Waggin Tails covered wagon and were blown away at how roomy and comfortable it was. The wood and easy start kindling that's provided was a lovely bonus. The coffee shop uses the most delicious beans. I made sure I bought a bag to bring home so my husband could taste them. I enjoyed myself so much that I bought a gift card as a Christmas gift for a family member so they can come experience this campground with their family.

HIGHLY recommend! Great location, not far from civilization but far enough away to get a BREAK! The Nest is a cute/comfy little cabin with everything you need! Even a crockpot which was great to have dinner cooking while we were out fishing! My favorite part of the location was there is no service or WiFi, you truly get to unplug and get away from the devices that take over our lives on a daily basis. Plenty of movies to wind down the night with. Ben and Ginny are great hosts, Ginny walked us through and told us everything we needed to know. The bedroom has air which was very helpful on the hot nights and kept the entire cabin cool. We were warned about a pesky little bird but didn’t have any issues nor did we have many concerns because we did put ourselves in the middle of the forest with the expectation we might encounter some animal friends!! We will 100% be back to the Nest! Hopefully a couple different times in the next year!

Weekend Trip to Bison Trace Luxury Camping

Our little family stayed in one of the tents this past weekend and upon our arrival we found a spacious tent with all the amenities for an outside gathering, outdoor cooking, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a separate game room. We were so impressed with the cleanliness, aesthetics, and personal touches that were left by the owners. Some shout outs: * We were given a separate heated bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet, and a personalized touch of our family name on a sign outside the door * A gathering area or hang out after hours with a fire cauldron * A coffee shop with specious coffee and chai lattes and reasonably priced breakfast options * Pickleball for our kids * Very kind and gracious hosts We will absolutely be back and recommend this as a place to visit to our friends and family!

Ben, and his mom Jeannie, were great hosts. The only negative is that I didnt stay longer. They really made it feel like home. Ben had a little book of the history of the property and recommendations for the area. I ventured to Kinzua Bridge State Park and Hector Falls, but nights by the fire and creekside were perfect too. Hope I can make it back next year

Weekend Trip to The Nest - Creekfront Cabin In ANF

This was our second time staying at Ben's and it was perfect. The river was low so we were able to walk and cross without issue. Water was perfect temp to cool down and just relax. We found the stash of seasoned kindling this time so it was much easier to start a fire with the mountain of firewood provided. Spent our days exploring and popped in one of the many DVDs before bed. Location is great. Can't wait to go back.

Ben is an awesome host. His camp is absolutely breathtaking. There's no cell service at the cabin. Ben provides a handmade book with fun facts about the camp and excellent directions. If you plan on entering the water bring proper footwear.

Weekend Trip to Bison Trace Luxury Camping

Absolutely magical! We’ll be back next year - probably for several days. It’s so easy to just relax and be present there - a world apart! The game room, playset, lake, fire pits, ample firewood, and facilities were just beautifully done and soooo worth it! My kiddos cried when it was time to leave. The hot dinners and s’mores kits available for purchase were such a nice touch too. I can’t forget to mention our gracious and friendly hosts too - they made us feel so welcome!

We had a great time and would definitely recommend to others. If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway, this is the perfect spot for a family with kids. Our 4 kids loved it and didn’t want to leave.

Weekend Trip to The Nest - Creekfront Cabin In ANF

This was the best weekend get away we have taken. The Nest exceeded our expectations! I largely picked this spot for it's off leash policy and it did not disappoint our dogs. They were some happy campers to say the least! We had perfect weather and didn't need to use the AC or the heat. It was great being right next to the creek, I would HIGHLY suggest some water shoes if you plan on walking around it in, the rocks are brutal. The water was too low to kayak but still enjoyable nonetheless. There is plenty to do around, Hector Falls was a nice hike and we stopped at Alleghany Cellars Winery on the way back. We tried Blue Jay Inn, great burgers! We went to an overlook, and stopped at Cooks Forrest on our way back home. We were never bored. There was an extensive DVD collection, and we also connected the Switch and played that. The grill and fire pit were used everyday I would highly recommend this play to anyone who loves being in the Forest would prefers the comforts of indoor plumbing and running water! If we find ourselves back this way, I already know where we are staying. Thank you Ben and family!

What a fantastic stay! Cabin was adorable and had everything we needed. The river and swimming hole aren't to be missed. We could not get our dogs out she was having so much fun. Great fishing spot and close to Blue Jay Inn which has amazing wings. Ben was great host as well as his mom and daughter. We would not hesitate to comeback and already looking for an excuse to do so!

Ben's Nest was the perfect Creek side retreat for our family of 5. It has just enough ammenities for us (outdoorsy, but not exceedingly so!) but still has a rustic feel. It's so peaceful there, we really enjoyed sitting on the swing listening to the creek. Would definitley recommend and we will be back!

The cabin was perfect for me and my wife, good selection of movies too, my wife loved the swing looking out too the stream, perfect place for her first trip to ANF
