There is a forest and pond for ducks behind the garden .
Our place is for Wildlife, to be fed, and given water and safe space to raise young. We are located in an area where the birds of the world fly from the north to the south and then change direction each season. Many lizards . Many wild mammals . There are many farms in the area. With Horses , goats , chickens , ducks , mules, donkeys , other livestock .
We have no pets and no livestock.
At night this is dark ( we do have solar lights on walk ways ) and it is peaceful. A safe zone for travelers . Serene , gentle and lovely . You get your privacy .

Sunny Mellow Eco Villa is the land with a great history. The VERY QUIET, secret Shangra-La Valley just over the ridge from Route 66 (and I-40) was the camping place for Billy the Kid and his gang! They could quickly saddle up when the posted lookout on the ridge above signaled the passing of The Corrupt Santa Fe Cartel that bid to hold control of business throughout Lincoln County.
Even more stunning, it was the Tijeras Indian Pueblo Tribe's place of roaming and rest.
The land now sports an Organic Vineyard, Orchard and Vegetable Garden that guests my forage from when in bloom.

The land was very lovely! With the space away from people, while still being being in range of a store, the place is perfect for those who want to be close enough to a store for those last minute needs!
The place was nice and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep and perfect for looking at the stars! (The stars were a neat bonus!)
If we come by to Bloomfield again, we would come to this spot again!

Victoria was a wonderful host. She let me know easy directions to her home/site. The site was beautiful and restful, which was good because I had become ill before arriving so spent a lot of time in the camper. There was a snowstorm the night before I was to leave, dumping 8 inches of snow to dig out of. Victoria helped me dig out the camper and truck while her husband cleared the driveway with a tractor. Given the road conditions, Victoria gave me recommendations for which road to travel to increase my safety. She and her husband were the best of hosts!

She was very welcoming and friendly when I arrived and was nice enough to make me coffee in the morning before heading out. We chatted and got to know each other a bit which was lovely. Cassidy and Chase’s space was awesome. It was a nice little city oasis with everything we needed to be comfy. Our kids loved the outdoor shower and their dogs, cats and chickens! The street light over the compost toilet is great for night lighting but if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, I’d recommend an eye mask. There are also lots of doggies in the neighborhood that like to talk to one another. A pair of earplugs tuned them out just fine when it was time to sleep.
Overall, highly recommend this spot. It was a glamping-level experience. Cass and Chase were so great with recommendations and making sure we were comfy the whole time. And the kids toys were a great addition to spark imagination with our boys.

Weekend Trip to Sunny Mellow Eco Villa
So, if you are looking for a home away from home, this place may be for you. This is how I want to be living on a daily basis.
We parked our car on the designated gravel spot. Walked the signed trail to a deck dedicated to yoga while a ping pong table is 5 feet away. Going along the path further you see a bunny hanging out in the brush while little birds fly bush to bush alongside you. Then you spot the entrance to the tree house. Directly behind it is your fully equipped kitchen with seating and all under a tin roof. Then a fire pit is on your way to the outdoor bathroom. Don't worry you cross a bridge and step over marked rocks like on an adventure. A hot water shower, relaxes you while the trees hang over with the blue sky peaking through.
This place was paradise! Thank you for being so creative and well equipped for every possible situation! Top Notch!

Their relaxing, peaceful home/Hipcamp was an unexpected oasis.

Our experience was awful. We tried to stay for Balloon Fiesta. We arrived at 9pm at night to an overrun grassy field- the field was wet and had been watered that day?! The grass in the field was up to our hips at some points. There was no bathroom on property as listed. And worse of all our 31 foot RV got stuck in the mud! It was completely awful and not as described. No one was around- and the host was unresponsive for 12 hours! Thankfully we were able to pull out at 4am when the ground was hardened from the cool night temps. We then asked for a refund due to the poor conditions and false advertisement and we only received a refund for 1 night. I absolutely do not recommend.
