This site can only be reached by foot across the river via stumps- a car can be parked near by.. approx. 50ft.
I also have a Vintage Camper that can be heated, has a kitchen, electricity and plenty of outdoor furniture with a fire pit and serene mountain views. As well as a monastic and very grounding Ensuite Bedroom, or a simple campsite if you want to bring your own camper or tent. All facilities have access to a guest bathroom inside the main house.
I offer dog sitting while you soak at Ojo, healing modalities that you'll find in the Extras section, and my dear neighbor Jackie takes appointments for massages with homemade essential oils.
+++ 6 miles to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs. There you will find the best restaurant in the area, with locally/organically farmed produce.
The land is naturally and beautifully wild- it is not a manicured campsite. The dirt rd down to the property is best suited for higher clearance vehicles, but is manageable for city cars.
With land by the river comes the mosquitos- June to August only. They are predominantly active during sunrise and sunset; long loose fitting clothes and a repellent work great.
Waterhole, Waterfall and climbing sites near by, as well as Plaza Blanca, Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch and the Taos Gorge are 30 mins drive away.

We are located close to all the offerings of the area: to the south is the infamous Rio Grande river where you can have either a mellow float or brave a ride down class III/IV rapids. To the north is Taos Ski Valley, home of world class terrain. In between are epic hikes, numerous galleries and unique shops, delicious food, and culture--Taos truly is a little slice of heaven. This is a very peaceful place where sunset hits the site perfectly. Everything you could possibly need is provided. It has a gentle, home-like feel. The bed is very comfortable as well which was a big plus after 18 hours of driving.

The yurt is sooo gorgeous. Has a wonderful atmosphere.
There are 4 beds and they are all really comfy.
The bedding is very comfy and very cozy.
Bring a double burner and a few pots if you plan to make a bigger meal.
Otherwise tea and coffee supplies are provided and very easy to use.
Kate was super helpful and responsive.
We had a wonderful visit at this well appointed Bohemian spot.

We loved our visit! Super cute place, we will 100% be back. We brought our doggo and he loved the property as well. It was well kept, lots of signs, and the bath house bathroom was SUPER clean. We only stayed one night but this would be a great place for multiple nights as well. We were close enough that we were able to head out for some morning fishing before check out. There's a ton of spots along the pecos right in the area. Over all a gorgeous place and one of our new favorites!

Weekend Trip to Juniper Mesa Camp
The yurt was absolutely beautiful! The inside was super cozy and clean. Kate was an excellent host and was super kind and friendly. There was a nice outhouse right outside and also a little heater which helped keep us warm all night. Very scenic views surrounding the location with lots of great hiking and outdoor activities surrounding the area. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Weekend Trip to Juniper Mesa Camp
This was my fourth time staying with Kate, the yurt was fantastic as always! This was the first time i had to use the heater and it worked like a charm (in case anyone is curious about cold weather).
