I-25 is 4 miles due west and I-40 is 8 miles to the south. All grocery and food service apps offer fast delivery, plus there are several supermarkets and restaurants just a few miles away.
You'll be staying in a high desert climate at 6000 feet so the nights cool off quickly in the dry air. The sun can be intense at this elevation so shade is provided on the patio. Nestled in a private, gated spacious neighborhood in the village of Cedar Crest, you will find solace and privacy but also the convenience of heading to Albuquerque with an easy 15 minute drive. Many great local restaurants, a coffee shop, a brewery and grocery store all within 7 minutes. The hosts description of the local businesses is what attracted me, I knew up the side of the mtn would be a great spot. The property is perfect for just pulling in, maybe a quick and si.ple set-up, and some relaxation in the shadows of the mountain just behind. Great views. What else could you want. Quick response and clear instructions made for a nice stay. Iplan to trqvel thru occasionally and will definitely reserve here when I do. Its reassuring to know you have a safe and quiet location to hit when on the road.

Really great to see someone making charming tiny houses out of native materials with his own hands! Also, the area has a lot to offer, including great hiking in the nearby mountains (but reasonably high clearance vehicles necessary to get to the closest trail heads) and a comfortable and inexpensive train into both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Lastly, the hosts are really good people--community minded, kind hearted, thinking for themselves.

A lovely, mystical, adorable break in the long drive thru New Mexico, boasting creative DIY solutions worth taking notes from, with some rad-tabulous hosts who live on site and make great campfire chat buddies. Def will be back to stay in the cozy, warm egg. Loooved taking a composty dump in a serene Naturescape and helping the planet along! And so happy to have made new friends!

We loved our stay! We got in late and Kristina was quick and easy to communicate with. She had great recommendations for food and recreation close by. We got great burgers and enjoyed live music at the Lazy Lizard, coffee and scones at Cabra Coffee, and hiked some trails from there as well. Ended up booking another night. Great, easy spot!

A wonderful spot to rest when passing through Albuquerque! The cozy place is thoughtfully designed and has everything you need to feel comfortable during your stay. One small thing that would have made it even better is a 110 plug for my solar setup so I could charge it overnight. And if you're a light sleeper, I recommend bringing ear plugs because the traffic can get quite loud at times, but that’s just part of staying in the city.

Our friends & I had a great time camping in our RVs at this location during the Abq Balloon Fiesta! It’s about 2 miles from the festival park, in a safe/gated location, and centrally located to so many things. The best part was waking up and having coffee and breakfast in our PJs while watching balloons drift literally right over us on one of the mornings we didn’t actually go in to the park. One even landed at the lot right across from us and the balloon crew let us watch it deflate. Such a cool experience. We had water and electricity and plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. Host was helpful and responsive to all our needs. Camping was a unique experience for those 5 nights and a memory we’ll cherish forever.

We loved the private spot and the hot outdoor shower. Cass and Chase were great hosts and provided us with everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Albuquerque.

Cassidy and Chase’s space was awesome. It was a nice little city oasis with everything we needed to be comfy. Our kids loved the outdoor shower and their dogs, cats and chickens! The street light over the compost toilet is great for night lighting but if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, I’d recommend an eye mask. There are also lots of doggies in the neighborhood that like to talk to one another. A pair of earplugs tuned them out just fine when it was time to sleep.
Overall, highly recommend this spot. It was a glamping-level experience. Cass and Chase were so great with recommendations and making sure we were comfy the whole time. And the kids toys were a great addition to spark imagination with our boys.
