Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation.
Each camp site has a small private firepit and picnic table and the cabin has a large firepit, a patio area, and back deck. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season.
There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers, the "lil log cabin" and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate.
How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably.
Or, stay in 'little log cabin' our cozy and complete cottage with full kitchen, full bathroom, queen size bed, and a pull out sofa, extra cot and pack and play. (Sleeps 4).
There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver.
Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area.
Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters.
For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera.
For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants .
Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of Oak Grove Acres.

I'm his grandson, a documentary filmmaker helping to make ends meet here by sharing this glorious space with Hip Campers.
50 acres of serene woods, fields, a pond, and Mine Run Creek. This is a place to relax, to get in touch with nature and reconnect with the people you love. Spring Mount Adventures is nearby. The Perkiomen Creek Trail is only a mile away. Crawfish, sycamore trees, foxes, pileated woodpeckers, and more!
Caring for the land: please do not collect your own firewood on the land. That wood is decomposing and contributing to the health of the forest, providing numerous habitats for bugs.
Note on dogs: we run a dog-sitting business, so there may be a pack (2-5) of dogs that come through the woods with us on walks. All dogs we sit are friendly towards humans.
Food recs: Raw Replenish in downtown Schwenksville has healthy smoothies and salads. Thai Spice is ten minutes away. Trouble's End brewing is 15 minutes away in Collegeville, with delicious beer and a Spicy Chicken sandwich.

Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness. There are beautiful hiking trails on site as well as right across the way adjacent to the property that are highly regarded in the state. The most secluded property you can imagine, it is home to some truly magnificent wildlife. There is no littering, and absolutely no hunting. As a nature lover, the respect I have shown these animals, is the reason why they love it here. Who knows what you may see! Firewood is available for purchase at the top of the driveway. It is handcut and seasoned for 3 years and stored in a custom hutch. $5 a compartment money goes in the mailbox.

This spot is easy to find and quite large, we fit 2 tents and had space for more if needed.
I love that there is seating, a table and fire pit all there. You really don’t need to bring much.
This was my second stay at this camp this time I brought my friends and we had a blast.

This is the 5th or 6th time I've stayed here - that likely says it all - I like this hipcamp very much - it's private (the owner says hi, but then leaves you on your own), he provides wood for campfire, there is a water spigot, a picnic table. The site I reserve has these things, and I believe another site has electric as well, but I haven't needed that one. It's peaceful, scenic, private - and the owner is communicative, their home is in sight, but not close enough to change the nice privacy. All these things make a great hipcamp. I travel twice a year to and from Maine and Georgia, with 2 dogs, and stay there every time. Highly recommend.

Had a great time! There are 3 sites available, we were in site Lindera. Had the whole camp area to ourselves, the 2 other sites were vacant at the time. Great site with flat, open, spot for a tent. There is an outhouse available close. Outhouse took a little to get used to as it's a compost toilet, but there is a Wawa like 10 min away if don't want to venture using it. Beautiful creek where we caught frogs, salamanders, and crayfish! Sites are private and secluded. Only minor issue, which wasn't that bad, was distant traffic noise, but at night it was pretty quiet. Would highly recommend, and will check out one of the other sites next time I go back!

This property was very sweet. Tom and MaryAnn were so helpful and kind. Although you are near the road and not far from their house, once we put our twinkle lights up we were transported into a perfect camping spot and didn’t even remember we were near civilization. Lots of bird activity, which we love. Would definitely come back when we need a quick escape from the city!

We stayed here for two nights during Labor Day weekend, absolutely beautiful weather, no bugs. Good swimming hole in the creek and a stone skipping lake nearby. The abandoned house was fine, and overall quiet. This area is rich horse ppl mansions everywhere, I wasn’t worried about my safety at all. Great spot for my dog too and a nice walking trail. We weren’t bored. Around 9:30 am the host with police badge on windshield of truck came and told us there was a large group coming and asked us to leave earlier than check out time, he was cool though, and luckily we have very little to pack up. There is also a camera at the site, but we felt like we were left alone the whole time we were there, and really weren’t bothered at all by the camera there. We would def come back here again, I felt like it was worth the money and a nice area! Nice camp site!

Tom and Maryann were both super helpful and made us feel very welcomed and safe! Tom brought us over to our sight and told us to help ourselves to firewood and even brought us kindling to help start our fire! We had such a good and quiet time on their beautiful piece of land! I highly recommend!

This spot is really great. I stayed at Lindera, and it was completely private, middle of the woods. I biked out from Philly, and it was an awesome ride. The campsite is about a mile off the Perkiomen trail.

This was a fantastic experience. The site itself was private (no other campers) and the host were gracious in meeting us and getting us set up, but we didn’t see them again until we left. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I in a nice shaded wooded site but with a field right next to us that gave our dog a chance to stretch her legs running for the ball. The added amenities, electric, water (which we didn’t end up using since our little RV had a large enough fresh water tank), and firewood provided made our time even better. This was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The host thought of everything and we definitely plan on coming back!

Had a wonderful first time. Came from Philly. We are normally deep backwoods backpackers but decided to try Hipcamp and see what it's all about. We loved the fact that we could get away on private land and still be close to home. It's also nice to have a private, unique campsite, with amenities, and not have to worry about finding a good unoccupied spot in a national forest.
The ranch had everything we needed. It's maintained and decorated with art and cool doodads. We logged breeding flickers, Eastern Wood pewees, catbirds, Baltimore orioles, common yellowthroats, and a green heron. We foraged golden oyster mushrooms and had a delightful dinner.
It was hot, and we wanted to get our whole bodies in water, so we headed down the Perkiomen Creek to do a full plunge.
My wife and I pondered what we'd do if we had 50 acres of land, and came to the same conclusion: We'd share it. Thanks for the memories!

This was absolutely perfect for our needs. We are fairly new to RVing, and travel with 3 very neurotic, reactive, LOUD rescues, who bark at every noise and movement. We were so thrilled to find out we had the whole place to ourselves. We’ve been to some nice campgrounds but were never able to have the kind of peace we did this weekend, because there was almost nothing for them to bark at. We pretty much spent the weekend sitting outside, grilling, making fires, and watching birds and other nature. (The ticks were relentless, so be careful and vigilant.) Our site had everything we needed-picnic table, Adirondack chairs, nice fire pit, and was also completely shaded. You could occasionally hear some road noise but we still felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. We thought it might be strange just camping on someone’s private property, but their house was far enough away and semi-blocked by trees, so it still felt very private, our own little campground.
Tom was very kind and helpful. We unfortunately got there a little late and right after severe storms, but he still helped us in the mud and darkness. Mary Ann quickly responds to all messages. No problems with electrical or water hookups. (No dump station on site, but you can pay to use facilities at local sites) We paid a lot more at other campgrounds and did not enjoy our time as much as we did here. Will definitely return.
