I booked this place late in a day. Multiple messages to the host were all unanswered! When u got there around 10pm i was not met by anyone. Instead a woman (assuming host) saw me through her window and set two dogs - doberman and great dane lose on me.
No communication at all still! I was forced to look for a hotel at midnight

Buyer beware: Very misleading site and extras. I purchased “RV Waste” for $40 as well as firewood for $10. Never got the firewood and there was no fire ring at the RV site. I asked where was the RV dump for gray/black and was told I could dump my gray right at the site but there was no black water dump. So I guess $40 was for leaving my bag of trash??? Crazy. I asked for a refund of the $50 (I took my one bag of trash with me) but have not received.
ALSO…ONLY after paying the reservation money was I told that visitors were not allowed (??!!). Talk about being treated like a toddler! I asked for special permission for one friend to join for BBQ and Tiffany allowed ONLY if we stayed at my RV…not at her fire ring/place. We still had a nice dinner, but later Tiffany suggested she was being kind for not charging for another car. I’m not sure how he was suppose to arrive??!!
Lastly, I was scolded because Tiffany saw my small pup off leash ONCE. I recognize she is worried about pets getting injured by her horses, BUT she has two huge dogs (one a Doberman-like) that roamed around my RV. That could be quite scary for some.
I left before my second night after this hostile environment, and am still hoping to get my refund of $50.
Tiffany will be happy to take your money (harsh refund policy) but she really doesn’t want to see you or be bothered.
So if you want to pay an exorbitant price, park in a driveway and be treated like a toddler: you will love this place!

Beautiful farm and nice relaxing setting. Tiffany greeted me when I arrived and provided a quick orientation of the site and amenities. The pool and outdoor fireplace looked very inviting— kicking myself for not trying either. Would recommend to others. Would stay again if I am ever in the area.
Some other reviews mentioned the highway noise. I could hear the traffic when on one side of the property. I parked far enough away that I heard no noise when inside my travel trailer.

Amazing place! Beautiful! Would certainly recommend and will definitely try to stay again if passing this way again. Some tight turns to get in/out with a 30 ft travel/trailer, take your time and be careful... It's definitely enough room to negotiate, just pay attention.

Stayed for four nights. Was a nice place to come back to and sleep for the night. Nice outdoor fire place for a fire. You can here the highway from the campsite, but if that doesn't bother you this place is perfect. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable.

This is an absolutely gorgeous horse farm in a pretty semi-rural setting, with an accomodating host. Just beware that nearby roads provide easily heard, constant heavy truck and car traffic noise.

This space was grassy and nestled under some tree cover. Horses and Tiffany were nice company, while still plenty of privacy.
Note that parking your car is different from where the tent site is, but not a far walk.

Beautiful horse farm setting. The RV site is along side of a 3 car garage with a 30 amp electrical hookup. It also has water access via a long garden hose. It overlooked the horses on side and back of the RV. It was delightful sleeping with sounds only of nature. There is a swimming pool and a seating area around a fireplace that can be used for cooking but we did not use due to time constraints this trip. Would definitely come back. Tiffany is a very gracious and friendly host and willing to help in any way possible to make your stay more enjoyable. Thank you Tiffany it was a pleasure meeting you.

Paid for dumping and never got it. The location of the farm is amazing. Located near a lot of family fun activities. I few posted signs would be helpful in the property to eliminate miscommunications. “This firewood isn’t free” “you can come this close to the house but too close!” Big one is that check in is between 2pm and sundown. I was told not to show up in the dark and then I could not change my booking or get my money back. This place is best for parking there and not spending any time there.

I'm NEVER coming back and you shouldn't come here either.
The host, among many other things, changed thier listing on the last night of our stay, after increasingly erratic and threatening behavior, culminating with her pounding on our door after 11pm, scaring our CHILDREN, threatening to call the police, and now, after demanding we leave and saying horrible things and saying we would get a full refund, we have nothing but emotional scarring.

Overall, mixed feelings about this booking.
Positives: This is a beautiful property located on a horse farm. The area is clean, isolated, and well maintained. It was exactly the type of place we needed for the weekend, a simple and convenient camping setup.
Negatives: We booked the day before our our first night, however, upon arrival the owner was not aware we were coming. We set up our tents and the next day we were asked to update our reservation for 3 sites instead of the single site because we had 3 tents. We were a group of 3 adults with our own small 1- or 2-person tents. Our reservation included additional charges already for having 3 people as opposed to one, and the request to book additional sites simply because we had multiple small tents did not feel appropriate. Generally campsites are reserved according to the number of people (which we already paid extra for) and potentially the number of vehicles (which we indicated in the booking). The number of tents is irrelevant assuming all the tents fit within the confines of the campsite. Not all tents are the same and multiple tents may take up a smaller footprint than a single large tent.
Following this booking, it appears the owner has updated the listing to limit 1 tent per campsite. I would strongly urge the owner the reconsider this policy, as this is generally not how campsites work.

This was exactly what I was looking for- we came to swim in the pool and that is what we did. The pool was fantastic with fantastic views of the horse pastures. The host Tiffany and her daughter were great. We were not able to use the fire pit but it looks nice and I think once the wasps or some type of bug are taken out of there, it would’ve be fine. All in all this was a fun over night camping trip close to home with a really great host. Would come back at any time especially for the pool

This was the first place we stayed after purchasing our camper. When we arrived, Tiffany greeted us and helped us park and hook up the electric. Bill helped my husband level the camper while Tiffany gave me a tour of the grounds, which include a nice sitting area around an outdoor stone oven, another seating area by a koi pond, and a pool. The barn and pastures for the horses are by where we parked and provided a nice view.
When we returned to the camper, my husband and I tried to pop it up and had some difficulty getting our A frame roof to seat. Bill grabbed a ladder and helped us get it into place. Both he and Tiffany were extremely helpful and friendly.
Thanks for a great stay! Windy Dell Farm was the perfect first stop on our maiden voyage!
