We have 12 acres packed with trails along side of a creek that backs up and leads to crystal lake park. This is primitive camping but if you like hiking and exploring this is a good place for you! You can park directly at the camp sites.

Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation. Each site has a small private firepit and picnic table. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably. There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness. There are beautiful hiking trails on site as well as right across the way adjacent to the property that are highly regarded in the state. The most secluded property you can imagine, it is home to some truly magnificent wildlife. There is no littering, and absolutely no hunting. As a nature lover, the respect I have shown these animals, is the reason why they love it here. Who knows what you may see! Firewood is available for purchase at the top of the driveway. It is handcut and seasoned for 3 years and stored in a custom hutch. $5 a compartment money goes in the mailbox.

This is the 5th or 6th time I've stayed here - that likely says it all - I like this hipcamp very much - it's private (the owner says hi, but then leaves you on your own), he provides wood for campfire, there is a water spigot, a picnic table. The site I reserve has these things, and I believe another site has electric as well, but I haven't needed that one. It's peaceful, scenic, private - and the owner is communicative, their home is in sight, but not close enough to change the nice privacy. All these things make a great hipcamp. I travel twice a year to and from Maine and Georgia, with 2 dogs, and stay there every time. Highly recommend.

This property was very sweet. Tom and MaryAnn were so helpful and kind. Although you are near the road and not far from their house, once we put our twinkle lights up we were transported into a perfect camping spot and didn’t even remember we were near civilization. Lots of bird activity, which we love. Would definitely come back when we need a quick escape from the city!

Weekend Trip to Historical Lake Front Barn

We stayed here for two nights during Labor Day weekend, absolutely beautiful weather, no bugs. Good swimming hole in the creek and a stone skipping lake nearby. The abandoned house was fine, and overall quiet. This area is rich horse ppl mansions everywhere, I wasn’t worried about my safety at all. Great spot for my dog too and a nice walking trail. We weren’t bored. Around 9:30 am the host with police badge on windshield of truck came and told us there was a large group coming and asked us to leave earlier than check out time, he was cool though, and luckily we have very little to pack up. There is also a camera at the site, but we felt like we were left alone the whole time we were there, and really weren’t bothered at all by the camera there. We would def come back here again, I felt like it was worth the money and a nice area! Nice camp site!

Tom and Maryann were both super helpful and made us feel very welcomed and safe! Tom brought us over to our sight and told us to help ourselves to firewood and even brought us kindling to help start our fire! We had such a good and quiet time on their beautiful piece of land! I highly recommend!

This was a fantastic experience. The site itself was private (no other campers) and the host were gracious in meeting us and getting us set up, but we didn’t see them again until we left. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I in a nice shaded wooded site but with a field right next to us that gave our dog a chance to stretch her legs running for the ball. The added amenities, electric, water (which we didn’t end up using since our little RV had a large enough fresh water tank), and firewood provided made our time even better. This was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The host thought of everything and we definitely plan on coming back!
