Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive. This is a great spot for new campers! Wide and clear walking paths around the pond and a nicely kept fire pit. The cabin is small but has everything you need to enjoy yourself. Conveniently located and well kept outhouse nearby. Our dogs loved exploring this property.

Very nice property. The private pond and the surrounding property are beautiful. Although there are houses on the perimeter of the property, you can’t really see them and it feels like you are in the middle of the forest (which you kind of are!). The privacy is just right since there are only 5 sites (4 tent or pull in RV sites and 1 Cabin) and they are spread out around the pond with plenty of space between each. The owners, Dan and Carol, were absolutely phenomenal. Dan came by on his golf cart every day to check on me (I was solo camping in the Cabin). Carol also came with him once. Aside from the privacy and rest/relaxation that I desperately needed, the best part was meeting Dan and Carol. Super nice hosts! Anyone looking for an off grid camping experience should camp here!

The treehouse is on Darby's family property and tucked back into the woods. It's private & secluded!

The cabin is small and quite comfortable. Great bed and couch. No power but there are battery power lights. A generator is available for a small fee and that might be essential in the heat of summer to run the AC. Sits all by itself away from the host’s home giving excellent privacy. Nice driveway into the cabin and easy to find. We stayed just one night but this would be a great base to see the area sites.

Such a great spot for a quick getaway or long term stay. The grounds were gated and the staff was very friendly. Most of the amenities were closed for off-season or out-of-service however, which was okay. Quick drive to Cape May or Wildwood. Also, the dog park was pretty spacious for our dog to run around in, however, keep in mind the place is packed with RV setups and tents. I did my best to keep my dog from peeing on someone’s ‘front lawn’ since it’s a lot of gravel and it would sit. The actual house was very clean. I would buy firewood elsewhere as they have smaller bundles for sale that burn quick. Also make sure to bring all toiletries such as hand soap and extra toilet paper. Also bring pillows with your towels and bedding as they don’t provide any, which was probably a given but I didn’t know that. There’s a Walmart up the street if you forget anything! Overall, I’d stay again!

I absolutely loved the chapel in the woods! It was so magical and the surrounding areas were just gorgeous. We really enjoyed our time walking on local trails, birdwatching, and dipping our feet in the creek. The chapel itself stayed cool all night. Weekend Trip to Creekside at Crystal Lake

We were truly happy to stay in this cabin. It meant a lot to us how thoughtfully the host prepared everything before our arrival — the grass was freshly cut, the firewood was chopped and stacked, the lanterns were turned on, and even the fire pit was already prepared with wood and sticks for us. The whole place felt so cozy and cared for, as if it had been prepared not just for guests, but with genuine love and attention. Even though we never met the host, it’s easy to feel that someone truly loves this place — and the people who come to stay here. We would absolutely love to come back to this lovely little cabin again.
